I never really understood this

I think it meant to establish that Tiana can accomplish all this and shes a woman, most women were not allowed to own a resteraunt and such and didnt even make it that far. So its reffering to that.

i kind of thought that she is someone who they don't expect to do well but she is gonna go farther then them all, also I haven't seen it in awhile so was she LITERALLY passing through somde guys? like she was getting off a train or passing them on the street

neither, she discriminated for being black but also for being female and she saying that none of that matters because she's going to get there anyway despite what people say or may think. she's going to prove them all wrong and do it for herself. who need men when she can get it herself?

I think she means it as "watch out world, here I come".

Because back then women didn't really own their own business or call all the shots. I think the line is supposed to show that she's independent and doesn't want the help of a man.
