I don't agree with this at all

I agree about Sleeping Beauty, Aurora is more the catalist than the protagonist in the movie. All the others are utter crap - also the idea that Disney is sexist because most of the princesses have no mother (has anyone ever noticed that Ariel is the only one who has siblings? The lack of parents has nothing to do with being sexist and a lot with storytelling. You just don't add characters you don't need.)

And the PATF one.

I'm not really a big fan of Nostalgia Chick anyway.

I really disagree, I don't think Cinderella is as desperate for love & romance as people seem to think she is. She IS a hopeless romantic, but I really don't think her only motivation was to get married, I never got that vibe from her in the slightest.
Also the PatF one - I actually think it's racist to even think of that!

And the Belle one. AND Cinderella- when does Cindy mention romance!

This one is just the most pathetic. If you relly think Ariel didn't meant 100% chage in Disney Princesses, if you find her similar to Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White, you REALLY need to re-think your thoughts about this movies. Belle only followed Ariel steps to be a little more mature, and I mean ONLY.

Ariel would definitely like a word with you. :) (Although I did like the idea that THE LITTLE MERMAID was ultimately Triton's story, not Ariel's. But I digress. :)

In all seriousness, I love Belle. Seriously. I do. But I think at the same time, she's not the be-all end-all of Disney Princesses. She has a lot of good character, but at the same time, there were a lot of areas that could have been explored a little more in detail. And Pocahontas does have personality, really -- it's just...very subtle, is all. ;-)

As for PRINCESS AND THE FROG not doing well at the box office...well, there could have been a whole variety of factors that contributed to it. Let's not be hasty. :) (Although I thought she said the reason the PRINCESS AND THE FROG did so poorly was because it was overly politically correct, not...y'know. Which I guess works better)

I agreed with most of the statements, except for Jasmine and Pocahontas. Jasmine wasn't just looking for marriage, she wanted freedom/adventure away from the palace until it was time to get serious, settle down and become Sultana (Queen). Pocahontas has personality! Saying someone has no personality is really cruel in my opinion. It's like saying a person is completely dead inside!! Course it's even worse when it's being said to a real breathing person with feelings on America's Next Top Model, etc.

All of these are shit. I enjoy Nostalgia Chick videos, but the woman needs to learn to stop running her mouth.

Her latest video on Pocahontas being a "mistake" is bullshit, as well.

I hate Nostalgia Chick/Lindsey. Period. She has the nastiest opinions and falsehoods I've ever heard about ANY Disney princesses and ANY Disney Characters. She promotes them to the hilt.

Belle's movie WAS NOT the first well-rounded Disney Princess movie. HELLO.
