The site shows an aggregated score based on the percentage of people who liked the film. It doesn't necessarily mean it is the best. Imagine if 100 people saw 2 films: Snow White and Beauty and the Beast. All 100 people enjoyed Snow White, but that did not mean they thought it was perfect. But some people consider Beauty and the Beast to be a better film while others do not like it. Even one reviewer voting a film down will give it a lower score than another. It has nothing to do with the film as a whole, but is based on the perception that the people reviewing it give to it. I would give Snow White a fresh rating, but I enjoy others better, and I am sure that is true for many of those reviewers. Sorry this is so long. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
