My dad was like King Triton in my childhood but then later was like Fergus and big Daddy while my mom used to be like Mother Gothel but is now more like Elinor

or James and Eudora. My dad's a very hard worker and he's a little more strict/serious than my mom.

Father is Fergus in sense of being a slob and Maurice in sense of being quirky and lonely. He also has Triton's anger issues but not his parenting style( my father isn't controlling, he is aloof).

Mother is lighter version of Mother Gothel. Unlike her, she is genuinely loving and thinks she wants good for me but she is still very immature and tactless, fat-shames me( "You cough? Don't you understand that's because you need to lose weight?"), is overly bossy and controlling.

My grandma is Fauna. She is the most understanding person in my family. I hope she will be blessed with good health and long life.

I guess a mix. My dad can have Triton's temper but would never take it out on me the way Triton takes his out on Ariel. He's also fairly quiet most of the time like Fa Zhou.

My mom had a touch of Mother Gothel in her when I was younger. She felt like I needed to be protected from the world and pretty heavily censored my media intake (like, I literally wasn't even allowed to watch Disney Channel). She can also be warm and mothering like Mrs. Potts, can sometimes be stubborn like Merryweather, and is pretty much always proper like Elinor, although not in quite such a classy way.

He looks nothing like him but he does remind me of him in a way. A little of Maurice too. Not sure about my mom since most disney mother figures either get such little characterization or are villains.
