It depends. The Gaston one is pretty stupid considering he is depicted as the VILLAIN therefore they are definitely not promoting sexism. But like for example, when 3 out of 4 princess villains' motives are being jealous of somebodies looks that does send a bad message that all women care about are how they look. That's why I far prefer Ursula to the other female villains because the rest are all about being the most beautiful, jealous of a princess' looks, or being the most beautiful. Like it's all vanity. So basically sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't.

i mostly hear people judging the movie more from princess' actions than villains' actions. It's pretty lame to judge by villains' actions coz they are proven to be wrong in every movie!
