I've never been a big fan of Pocahontas songs. I like most of Moana songs.

I love Pocahontas's whole OST <3 While I only like one song in Moana.

I like Moana's OST, but not the song "Shiny" which was...awkward, actually. I love basically every track on Pocahontas's OST.

Both soundtracks are very good, though.

I think Moana's soundtrack is pretty good. I enjoy most of the songs, especially the cultural ones like "Logo te pate" and "Innocent Warrior." Pocahontas has, in my eyes, 2 good songs. The others are either a mixed bag or lame ("Mine Mine Mine," anyone?).

Both have AMAZING soundtracks!

I really only like 2 songs in Pocahontas, while I like every single song in Moana! (Yes, even Shiny.)

"Colors of the Wind" is one of my absolute favorite Disney songs, but I'm not as crazy about the rest of the Pocahontas soundtrack.
I am in love with all of the music in Moana, that movie is so beautiful on so many levels.

Easily.

Although Moana's is beautiful, and I really value the effort they put into incorporating Polynesian culture, very few soundtracks in general stand a chance against Pocahontas', let alone fellow Disney competitors. Lol. Judy Kuhn's voice+Alan Menken's spiritual instrumentals = The Holy Grail 🙌 🙌

I'm a sucker for Hawaiian/tropical music.

Even the not-so-great songs in the Pocahontas soundtrack are still pretty decent. I like Moana's soundtrack too but only How Far I'll Go has really stuck with me.

Especially the Colors of the Wind, Mine, Mine, Mine, Savages and the final theme. In my opinion the only DP movie whose soundtrack is comparable to Pocahontas' is BatB.
