	wavesurf picked Try to determine whether the DP is a good person: I think asking whether a DP makes a good character is really questioning whether or not the character underwent development within the plot. It's really asking about the screenwriting. I usually go a step further. I not only question the screenwriting. I also weigh whether or not the character made more good choices than bad ones, and whether or not she was a nice person when settling her disputes. This helps me determine whether the DP is a good person, or not. This goes a long way toward whether I like the character. posted over a year ago.
