Honestly? Have you watched any "Bones" or any CSI shows? In real life, America has the "awful" premise that torturing terrorists actually produces information--which it doesn't. I don't condone torture or murder, though the two seem to be constantly "found" together. And NEITHER one is worse than the other. They're both heinous.

Yikes! Well, my take on the situation is that if you're killed, at least you won't have to put up with extreme physical pain. But then again, your life is literally over! It's a very tricky question.

Torture could last for ages; mental, physical.. Even if you get away you'll probably have PTSD of sorts, With murder it's just over with. You don't have to suffer.

I'd rather die. Torture usually lasts longer, and even if you survive, you'd have to live with the phycological scars for the rest of our lives.

Goodness, well at least if you're murdered you get everything over with quickly, torture could last a very long time.
