I think he only liked Poca due to how exotic she seemed to him.

tiffany88 picked Phillip:
Definitely, he fell in love with Aurora's beauty and don't really care about her personality at all. + they hadn't got the chance either. All of the Classic Prince's are kinda shallow for me.
I don't find Al and John shallow, of corse Jasmine's beauty fascinated Al too but right after that he knew her closer and fell in love with her.

None of these really strike me as shallow. The Modern princes, with the exception of Flynn/Eugene, all strike me as shallow people.

He probably would have shot Poca if he hadn't found her attractive. This guy actually had a reputation for killing Indians before he met her.

Yeah John is here for exactly that^ And Aladdin's here because I get this sense from him saying he'll win Jasmine and the constant lies. I do think Aladdin&Jasmine and Phillip&Aurora are in love but that doesn't mean they're not shallow.

Naveen is WAY more shallow than any of these are.

But Phillip didn't see Aurora first, he heard her voice. besides, why doesn't anyone say the same for Flynn or Naveen by this logic, then? both were very obviously attracted to their girls at first sight.

anyway, what scarlet said, but I don't think any are super shallow.

I don't think Flynn was even attracted nor interested in Rapunzel at all when they met.

The difference is that Poca would be one of the god-knows-how-many dead Indians on John Smith's kill sheet if he hadn't found her attractive. She's worthy of keeping alive because he think she's hot. The other dudes are shallow too, but this guy takes the cake imo.

I don't think Phillip and John Smith are shallow at all. Especially since John Smith proves that he has a lot more intellectual depth than you'd first expect. :/

MelStrachey picked Aladdin:
Aladdin is more concerned with his image, material things and Jasmin (who is pretty vapid herself) than anything of actual intellectual depth.
John Smith loves adventure and exploration and, if you watch the movie, he doesn't shoot first-ask later, he actually gives Pocahontas and her people and culture a chance.
Philip, obviously, isn't shallow because he is portrayed as having a love of adventure and a desire for romance. He's willing to give up his own prince-hood (and his life) for the girl he fell in love with before he knew she was royalty.

If anything I think the most shallow prince is Charming, but that's just me.
