Static characters - Characters that don't really change or grow

Dynamic characters - Characters that change throughout the story


One of the most important things to me is that a character grows and adapts in their story, else what's the point in telling it in the first place. That's why I'm starting to like a few of the earlier princesses a bit less. A lot of things happen to them and they don't really change in response. It seems a bit unrealistic to me.

Development isnt that important to me. Elsa didnt really change and shes one of my favorites

For me, no.

Nope. I like Aurora and Ariel, but I don't see much change in them.
I enjoy developed characters as well, probably more than static characters.
