I love Sven

I love Maximus a little more

In my opinion, Maximus helped inspire Sven. The giant quadruped deer-like mammal that acts similar to a dog While Sven's more of a comic relief and is just goofy, I prefer how Maximus begins as a minor antagonist and then forms a friendship with Flynn Rider. I still really like Sven though :)

I really like Sven but I find Maximus a little annoying.

Sven is so dumb.

Max got annoying dart fast. Very forced humor with him. But Sven is ADORABLE and hilarious, and that's coming from someone who totally expected to dislike him. His acting like a dog felt more natural and it was nice seeing a pet actually act like a pe.

AudreyFreak said it all, I can't stand Maximus, he's so over-the-top-annoying!

Mazximus at least has a lot of personality, depth, and character development apart from just being a horse with "the personality of a dog." He's brave, clever, serious, tunnel-visioned, takes his work way too seriously, takes the law way too seriously, is a great tracker, a great sword fighter, is the most competent of the guards, is very resourceful, has his goofy moments even though on the whole he's very serious, if he has to choose between the law and doing what's right he'll do what's right (like put aside his grudge with Flynn so Rapunzel can enjoy her birthday, then later saves Flynn from execution so he can find and save Rapunzel), has a soft spot for apples, and much more.

Sven? I'm sorry, but there is literally NOTHING to him aside from the fact that he's "a reindeer with the personality of a Labrador" and he's obsessed with carrots. That's it. Nothing else. He's a flat character, and not even a funny one.
