princesslullaby picked Belle & Eric:
1. Belle & Eric: Belle and Eric live in that small, provincial town but Eric is a well-liked and popular sailor and Belle is an outcast and still feels restless. They're good friends, regardless-- Eric is Belle's only friend, they're quite close. Belle spends her days reading books and trying to get Eric into them and he's patient and understanding and sometimes reads them with her but doesn't find the town boring like she does. Belle is always talking about how she wants to leave town and Eric humors her but doesn't think she'll actually do it, that is, until her father goes missing and she leaves town looking for him, stumbling upon a mysterious castle...

2. John & Merida - John Smith is part of DunBroch's army, and is about 6-8 years older than Merida. He's quite close with Merida's father, who trusts him, but also keeps a watchful eye on Merida, and is sort of a big brother figure to her. When he finds out she's being forced to be married, he advises her to do what she thinks is right for her, and she takes his advice seriously.

3. Naveen & Jasmine Naveen is kicked out by his parents and makes his way to Agrabah, where, as she is disguised as a princess, he meets Jasmine. They hit it off, and although they aren't interested in each other (she rebuffs him and he moves on) , he still encourages her to party and have more fun and tells her about his escapades with women to which she rolls her eyes and pretends to be annoyed but can't help but laughing. They just love to banter; he teases her about being too hard to get, she teases him about being a no-account playboy. But they still love each other just the same.

4. Mulan & Beast :Mulan is praying to her ancestors in the middle of the night, staring at her reflection. Suddenly there is a ripple across her reflection, and slowly it fades into the face of Human! Beast. Over in Beast's castle, Beast had been staring into his mirror, praying for some way to change back, when it rippled and showed him Mulan's face. Even though Beast is a beast, for some reason Mulan sees his human face. She is unaware he is a Beast, and Beast is unaware she sees his human face, but the mirror is just reflecting who they are on the inside. After the initial shock, they tentatively start to speak to each other and try to figure out why this is happening. and Mulan explains to the Beast she was looking at her reflection and praying to her ancestors about how when she looks in the mirror, she doesn't see the person she wants to see staring back. Beast says he feels the same and they figure maybe this is why they have been magically connected; they are both meant to discover and reveal who they truly are on the inside. They talk about how they feel and as the sun starts to rise their reflections begin fading away. As their voices begin to disappear, they thank each other and wish each other good luck.

5. Pocahontas & Prince: Gallavanting through the woods, Prince feels he is being watched which unnerves him because normally no one can sneak up on him. Finally, through a rustle of leaves he catches the sneakster- a startled Pocahontas, who has never been caught before! Prince is surprised at his find, laughs, and asks Pocahontas to help him find his maiden, to which she gladly obliges and they have a gay time prancing about in the forest, he lets her ride his horse and she teaches him the art of sneaking up, which he later puts into practice...

6. Kristoff & Snow White: Kristoff is riding Sven, searching for ice ponds in the forest when he comes across Snow White sobbing on the forest floor, her animal friends trying to cheer her up. Kristoff tries to ignore her but Sven prods him and the other woodland animals annoy him until he agrees to help her find a place to stay. Snow White immediately becomes cheerful and her positive attitude is so infectious even Kristoff can't help feeling happy, against his will. He leads her to the dwarfs' cottage but ends up staying with her there, playing his guitar while she sings along.

7. Flynn & Anna A very young Anna is travelling with her parents and sister Elsa to the faraway Kingdom of Corona. Walking through the town, she smells the most delicious scent ever-chocolate. Breaking off from her parents, she discovers a plate of chocolate sitting on a table with two pieces left. As she reaches for it, a quick, small hand grabs the last two pieces before she can even react. As she begins to cry, the little thief boy slowly puts one chocolate back while her tears are distracting her. Years later, at her sister's coronation, Anna is taking a break from all the dancing and her sisters' cold shoulder, and discovers the plate of chocolates again. It is almost empty- save for two pieces. Zeroing in on the plate, she reaches for one, but a fast hand snatches the last two pieces. Noticing the princess' distress and seeing that she appears very sad, Flynn clears his throat and slowly puts one piece back, smiles at her, and goes back to the ballroom to find his wife.

8. Cinderella & Phillip King Hubert used to be business partners with Cinderella's father, who was liason between the two Kingdoms. After his death, out of good conscientiousness and politeness to his widow, Lady Tremaine, and unaware of the manor's state of destitution he invites them to dinner quarterly. Cinderella's stepfamily bring her along, only to keep up appearances that they are still rich and thriving by showing off Cinderella as their maid, while the King is unaware that his partner ever had a daughter. When the stepfamily sends Cinderella to the kitchen to help with the cooks, secretly Phillip steals her away and they hang out in the woods, spending time together and talking about Phillip's life as a prince; he quite enjoys her company. Phillip has invited Cinderella numerous times to live in his palace but Cinderella won't leave her family home. He teaches her how to ride a horse and these visits are what Cinderella looks forward to most in her life.

9. Rapunzel & Charming some story where Prince Charming rolls his eyes at Rapunzel freaking out over things. THE END.

10. Aladdin & Elsa: After Jafar shoots Aladdin away from Agrabah, Aladdin lands in a snowy mountain... which turns out to be the North Mountains that Elsa has run to on the same day her powers were revealed. She ends up rescuing Aladdin from the giant structure that was about to roll on top of him and unfreezes Abu and the Carpet. He thanks her and asks her to help him, but she says her powers are too dangerous and she must live alone. Aladdin, amazed by her snow powers, promises to come back and visit her and before she can protest, he leaves. True to his word, Aladdin comes flying back on the carpet to visit and by that point Arandelle had been freed from the blizzard and Aladdin and Jasmine become good friends with Queen Elsa and her sister.

11. Ariel & Shang -In the middle of the night, a young Shang is practicing his fish-grabbing exercise in the river when he reaches in for another tail and ends up pulling out a ...red-headed mermaid! After they both freak out and Shang falls on his butt, a curious Ariel comes back over to him, grinning, and moves uncomfortably close to him, resting against his chest and gazing into his eyes, studying him. Shang grin nervously at her and then hears the call of his Captain. Backing away on his hands and legs, he slowly turns over and runs back to camp. Imagine his surprise, years later, when he meets Queen Ariel and King Eric and he can't notice that the female monarch bears a striking resemblance to the mysterious mermaid-- and she can't help but think of how much he looks like the first human she ever encountered.

MacytheStrange picked Snow White & Kristoff:
They're all pretty cool, but Sven being a woodland animal (y'know, the kind Snow manipulates with her mind) was a nice touch.
