To me she seems a far more interesting character but of course parents wouldn't want their children looking up to the villain, I also think she has a unique beauty.

She should just stick to being the villain of the movie and not one of the future Disney Princesses. Besides she's not a princess, she's a queen, the Snow Queen.

She is not a princess, she is Queen. She is probably the third most important person in the movie, after Anna and Kristoff, and I really don't see why she should join along with Anna. Anna will be a true Disney princess, good and kind, Elsa for most part of the movie will be enemy. So is she a good role model for little girls? Even if she change for good at the end of "Frozen", she still will be like a minor antagonist. Is Disney really think only about money? I hope the rumors about her joining are false... I am really exciting about Anna, but not Elsa.

Absolutely not. This is a lot worse than adding Merida. Thy are probably going to have her turn good and live in the end. Until I get more information about her and "Frozen" in general, than we will have a better bigger clue.

I hope so, but first informations about Merida and Anna joining was in similar press like this news about Elsa, so I'm little worried. I really can understand Merida and Anna, but Elsa?

There's a difference between adding a heroine who's a princess(even one who's Pixar) but having a princess who's a villain is a completely different matter. Plus once again she's not a princess, she's a queen.

Not entirely sure how the story of Frozen is going to play out yet, but assuming she's going to be the "Snow QUEEN", I don't think she should belong in the Princess line. But we'll have to wait and see =)

There are too many princesses in the line as it already is! The line is going to be pretty clamored in a few years.

^ 10 was enough. They should have left it with the 10 for at least 5 years before adding anyone else. WDAS and Pixar are becoming unidentifiable

I think it the line-up should be limited to one character per movie.

I don't even think Anna should be added. Actually, I'll have to wait and see. I might change my mind.

If she's added, then I don't think I'll ever come back to this club - I know it's petty, but I don't want to be seeing her in like every poll...

Even if she's the best animated character ever, I wouldn't want her included because if she's added then it's inevitable that Anna will probably be added and 2 characters from one movie in the lineup is pushing it.

Reasons Why Elsa Joining the DP Lineup is a Stupid Idea
1) She's a villain, and even if she is being controlled or whatever, she is still at some point evil.
2) She's a bloody QUEEN! By making her a princess, you are seriously degrading her title.
3) She isn't the main character. Ariel's sisters were princesses, too, but they weren't added.
4) Two princesses from one movie is WAY too much. One princess per movie, please.
5) ...She freezes her sister's heart. Enough said.

Pretty much this would be the worst idea Disney ever had if they go through with this.

I read from "The Rotoscopers" blog (link) that Disney are planning to add them both to the Princess line. I was OK with Anna being added, but I agree, two characters from the same movie being added to the line seems too much.

Disney's going Princess mad! I assume that after Frozen's out, they aren't planning any more Princess films for a while?

I don't know who she is, she looks like from Frozen, but she's not the protagonsit female, is she?
Anyway, in the NO picture she looks really pretty, but in the other one she's just creepy!

I think so, but why they are trying to prove that you can be evil and even put a curse on your own sister, but stilil can be a Princess...

^I'm not sure it's fair to say that Elsa's going to be your traditional evil villainess. I've read certain info about the movie's plot (though it could have easily been changed since then) and I think she's more misunderstood than pure evil. I think the heart of Frozen is supposed to be about the relationship between the two sisters, Anna and Elsa, which sounds like a new and interesting approach. =)

^Yeah, I completely agree, but this is a point to me. I'm sure she is not a pure evil. I think she will turn good at the end, but still - even if Elsa is under some curse which controlling her, for the big part of the movie she will be like antagonist: she send eternal winter to her kingdom and she frozen her sister heart. So even if at the end of story Elsa will be sweet, kind etc., for me she still isn't a 'good model'.
