Hey everyone! PPGBelle4 here! :) Fhghu and I decided to collaborate on a list for fun, so why not do one on our prettiest princesses? Here is our list combined and averaged. Anyway, I hope you like it, and please comment!

8. Jasmine

FHG Ranking: #9
PPG Ranking: #9
Average Score: 9

FHG: She looks like an alien in my opinion. She has a big nose and extremely large eyes. She just looks weird nearly the whole time. I could only find one good shot of her. ONE. There is only one heroine who is fuglier than her, and is overrated in beauty A LOT. *cough*Meg*cough*.

PPG: Okay, my tolerance for Jasmine has increased a lot, but I still don’t like how she looks. She is extremely cartoony and almost Barbie looking, with her big boobs, hips, and skinny waist. Her eyes are huge and her nose is bleh. I agree with fhghu; she looks like an alien.

7. Ariel

FHG Ranking: #8
PPG Ranking: #8
Average Score: 8

FHG: Ariel has a few good shots in the film, but overall I find her quite homely. Especially in the Part of your world scene. VERY plain and homely. I think she looks her best on the rock in the Part of your world (reprise) scene, and when she finds out Eric is wedding Vanessa, but that's it. Besides that I don't think she's pretty at all.

PPG: Okay, KataraLover, if you are reading this, PLEASE don’t shoot me! (gets shield and peeks at readers) Ariel is my second favorite after all; I love her very much for her characterization with her flaws and personality. However, I do not like how she looks too much. Her hair is a pretty color and looks awesome in the water, and her eyes are beautiful, but that is it. I don’t like her proportions also, with her huge eyes, large boobs and hips.

6. Tiana

FHG Ranking: #7
PPG Ranking: #6
Average Score: 6.5

FHG: Tiana....sorry, I don't find her that pretty. She looks pretty in a few scenes, but sorry, that's it. Her eyes are huge like Jasmine's, she never lets that freaking hair down, and I altogether find her quite plain.

PPG: Okay…I generally do not like how Tiana looks so much because she is also very cartoony. But, at least she looks a little more natural than my bottom three prettiest princesses. Her eyes are big and cartoony yes, and her hair is always up, but her skin is gorgeous, and her proportions are not as crazy as my lower ranks. The fact that she is a frog for the most of the movie also hurts her ranking quite a bit. Overall, she is okay and plain in a way, but I believe my top five look better and more realistic/beautiful than she does.

5. Mulan

FHG Ranking: #6
PPG Ranking: #4
Average Score: 5

FHG: Mulan is plain at times, but I actually find her really pretty the whole time she's not in disguise. I think they purposely drew her differently when she was disguised as Ping so she would look more like a boy. And they did a pretty good job. There are definitely some differences in her appearance when she's disguised as Ping. But, she's really exotic and pretty. Not beautiful, but pretty.

PPG: I actually find Mulan to be very pretty in a realistic way. I love her exotic eyes and the natural beautiful blush on her cheeks. Her hair looks great either short or long. I am also glad that she has a more realistic body shape, not being outrageously curvy or thin. Overall, I really like how Mulan looks. It fits her, and she is naturally pretty. :)

4. Aurora

FHG Ranking: #2
PPG Ranking: #7
Average Score: 4.5

FHG: Disney had plenty or time to draw a beautiful heroine when making this film. They sure succeeded on that mission! Aurora is a total eye-catcher. I absolutely LOVE her hair, her eyes, her figure, her smile....EVERYTHING! She's absolutely lovely in every single way possible.

PPG: I, on the other hand, do not like how Aurora looks. She is extremely cartoony. I do not like her features are so sharp, despite it being the art style. Her figure is ridiculous, pencil thin and anorexic looking. I mean, really, she shouldn’t be able to have children with that kind of body. She also looks terribly plain for most of the movie, only looking beautiful in that close up shot when she is asleep. Her eyes change colors nonstop, and it annoys me. Her hair also changes colors inconsistently, changing from pee yellow to gray yellow. Just…ew.

3. Snow White

FHG Ranking: #5
PPG Ranking: #3
Average Score: 4

FHG: Snow White is BEAUTIFUL. I love her hair, her eyes, and her smile. Just everything about her is stunning. Snow White looks old-fashioned, but that's what I love about her! That mirror was speaking the truth when he said Snow White was more fair than the queen! Snowy is underrated in both character and beauty in my opinion.

PPG: I agree with fhghu with Snow White completely. Snow White is beautiful, and in a natural way. I love how her figure is not Barbie looking, how it is actually a normal figure, underdeveloped even because of her being fourteen. It is also extremely neat how the artists actually applied blush to her cheeks, making the color on her face so realistic…her short hair looks great on her and frames her face wonderfully. Her eyes are sweet and are full of innocence. :) In other words, Snow White’s old-fashioned look works for her. I love it.

2. Belle

FHG Ranking: #1
PPG Ranking: #5
Average Score: 3

FHG: I'm not biased! >< She's just stunning! She may look different in every scene, but she's still inconsistantly beautiful. I love her eyes, her hair, her smile, EVERYTHING

PPG: She is my favorite princess, but to me she is average at best. (is shot by Belle lovers like myself) Let me explain! In some shots, she appears GORGEOUS, such as the West Wing, or in the beginning during “Belle” when she sings the line: There goes the baker with his tray like always…(see picture.) However, in other shots, she appears really unflattering and unattractive, and her length and color of her hair change constantly. It is a shame, really, because you can tell the animators were pressed on getting this done when it comes to her. :(

*TIE*

1. Cinderella

FHG Ranking: #3
PPG Ranking: #2
Average Score: 2.5

FHG: Cindy is GORGEOUS. She doesn't have the best hair, but her eyes, smile, and face structure is PERFECT. Her eyes are the most beautiful blue color, and I wish I could have a perfect smile like hers. Same as Poca, not much else to say.

PPG: Cinderella is beautiful in a natural way. :) She has such beautiful eyes, and such a lovely smile. I also love how her figure is realistic and womanly. It is great. In every single screenshot that you see of Cinderella, she never looks bad. Not one. She is naturally photogenic. The only downfall for her would be her hair (the ugly gold they changed it to.). I liked it when she was more of a redhead/strawberry blonde. The hairstyle is not the best either, but this is minor to me compared to the rest of her features.

1. Pocahontas

FHG Ranking: #4
PPG Ranking: #1
Average Score: 2.5

FHG: One word: STUNNING. STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING. Some people say she looks like a fish. Then if that's true, fish are stunning indeed. Poca has the best hair of the Disney Princesses in my opinion, her eyes are soulful, and....there's not much else to say. She's just stunning.

PPG: Word…Pocahontas is completely stunning. Who cares about the absence of a nose; that is so minor compared to everything else. Her hair is gorgeous. Her eyes are deep. She has a beautiful skin tone. Her body is great too; athletic yet sleek and streamlined. Pocahontas looks amazing, and she deserves the number one spot in my book.

FHG List: Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Snow White, Mulan, Tiana, Ariel, Jasmine
PPG List: Pocahontas, Cinderella, Snow White, Mulan, Belle, Tiana, Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine

Hello everybody! Felt that writing bug back in me, and the one article I've noticed I haven’t done yet is the Disney Princess movies of course! And with our latest addition Moana. Hope you all enjoy, after all these are just my opinions.

12. Brave

I don’t know why, but I’ve never really liked this movie. I’m not very knowledgeable on Scottish mythos or culture, so I was excited to see it, but it turns out that there just wasn’t enough magic in charm in it for me. I really liked that it was a classical story about a witch, a princess, and a spell, but going to the movie really...

Tonight's rewatch: Cinderella
Last time watched: 2013

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
When I was a kid I mostly had this movie on for background noise. I liked the songs and the cat and mice scenes but after the ball I would suddenly lose interest for some reason. It wasn't until I was in my late teens that I started watching this movie again and actually loving it.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:
I forgot Cinderella had little outfits put aside for the mice living in her house and that she was the one who named them and I think that is the cutest darn thing I've ever seen. And...

This is a sequel I haven't seen in forever so I'm actually a little excited to watch this movie, even if it's a movie I'm not that big a fan of :P

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 5 or 6 years old when this movie came out on vhs and of course, with it being a cartoon, a Disney movie, and featuring familiar faces I begged my dad to get me a copy. I wasn't too big a fan of the original at the time, but, again, cartoon, Disney, familiar faces, but I still wanted badly to watch it. When I did watch it...

And, as promised, here is the second part of the alphabet.

Honestly, this was easily the most difficult of them all. For one, there weren't exactly many picture options in the style I wanted. Two, the sheer Size of Maui made it difficult to fit him and a plant into the picture. I am actually not happy with having him directly behind the letter, but when I tried to place him in the swirl it just didn't work out at all. I paired her with the "N" because one of the two plants which is particularly prominent in "Moana" is the coconut, and "Niu" is the Polynesian name for the coconut palm....

So this is another article I'm writing based on a poll I recently done. This time the question was "Do you think a princess has to be perfect?" At the time I'm writing this, 28 people votes 61% no, 39% yes.

People are allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts, that's something I will always respect. But when the topic of perfection is up for debate, it makes me wonder if people really have any idea of how harmful being "perfect" can be.

So some of you might ask me, what's wrong with perfection? In what way can it possibly be harmful? Well, have a seat, make yourself comfortable, maybe get...

A bit of a disclaimer:I think the main issue with ranking Elsa's favorite princesses is how mysterious her character truly is giving that it is drowning in anxieties and fears, and is also frankly more of a cardboard character- easier to project onto then to discern an actual personality. There are also 3 different Elsa's throughout the film- beginning movie Elsa, who is in control but paralyzed by fear, middle-movie Elsa who is on a high of letting her emotions take over and end movie Elsa who now understands that her emotions and powers can be controlled through "love" but is still practical...
