I'm trying to use a different approach with this article and I'm going to include user comments!

"It's like the reverse of the Queen's transformation- ugly hag into beautiful girl." (princesslullaby)

10.Ursula's transformation into Vanessa

Unfortunately, there were no user comments for this one. I love this transformation, because even though it's short, it's interesting and reveals a lot about Ursula's character. She remains relatively calm throughout the story (until the end), but has random spurts of anger and psychoness, which is blatantly evident in this transformation. And I love how the laugh fades from Ursula's laugh into Vanessa's.

I mean the woman conjours up lightning and then rips out of her old skin! Its disgusting and short but thrilling for me." (alafastanzio)

9.Vanessa's transformation back into Ursula
Most people found this transformation exciting but relatively gross. I mean, the woman rips out of her own skin into this giant octopus, it's like a scene out of "The Thing"!

"... that just kinda grossed me out" (tokyogirl0093)

"The fact that it's Ursula is gross but rippage was interesting to me as a kid. XP" (TigerRanma)

"The explosion of green combined with the slow, what-is-she-transforming-into transformation is a real suspensful twist" (princesslullaby)

8. Maleficent's transformation into a dragon.

Again, no comments on this one. It's another one like Ursula's, quick but scary. I love her line before the transformation: "Now shall you deal with ME, oh prince, and all the powers of HELL!", with the slamming of the staff on the ground and her transformation into a dragon. Maleficent is another villain who stays relatively cool throughout the film, and this shows off her true powers, which we have been anticipating since we first meet her.

"I liked the wave of the castle turning from dark to bright." (TigerRanma)

7.The Castle/ Objects of the Castle back into humans transformation

This is a quick little happy transformation. First, a wave of sparks takes the castle from being dark and gloomy to bright and interesting. I love how the gargoyles transform into angels, a great example of beast into man. It's interesting to see how the objects look as humans, and how similarly they were portrayed in the objects they took form of under the curse.

"...there is not much to it at all besides a bunch of spinning." (VGfan30)

"Kind of blah." (kenzieiscool)

"It was a really good transformation scene, I just like the other ones better. " (queenbee13)

6. Naveen's transformation into a frog.

Quick but exciting, Dr.Facilier works his voodoo magic on the handsome but unsuspecting Prince Naveen. He takes his blood and transforms him, but into what? We don't see the end result, but it's still fun to see the expression on Lawrence's face and imagine the worst.

"Sure there's a lot of smoke and pretty lights but thats like a cheep magicians trick." (alafastanzio)

"Areil's transformations just aren't as intense or epic as the other ones." (Duncan_Courtney)
"Areil's transformations just aren't as intense or epic as the other ones." (Duncan_Courtney)

5. Ariel's last transformation into a human.

This is a sweet, gratifying moment in the film. Ariel is back as a mermaid, upset and gazing at Eric on the beach. Her father grants her her ultimate wish- to be human. The gold sprays across the water and up Ariel, and the look of extreme joy and happiness just spreads across her face. What people like more is her exit from the water, arms outstretched in that gorgeous purple dress.

"It's a great, wonderful moment in the film....just not a very impressive transformation scene." (alafastanzio)

"Although the animation was beautiful, it looked too much like Odette's transformation in The Swan Princess." (TigerRanma)

4. Tiana & Naveen's transformation back into humans.

This is a fun moment, with water swiriling around them, lifting them up into the air. For anyone who didn't figure out she would become a princess ahead of time, it's a surprise twist! The beautiful shining gold light and their new transformation outfits give it some extra pizazz.

"from what I remember, we don't actually SEE the transformations and to be honest I thought it was kind of a rip off of Odette's transformation from The Swan Princess. " (alafastanzio)

"it just cant compete with some of the most classic scenes in cinnima" (founten)

"When Ariel turns into a human is soo pretty!" (lovebaltor)
"When Ariel turns into a human is soo pretty!" (lovebaltor)

3. Ariel's first transformation into a human

This transformation is exciting and suspenseful. The magic swirls around Ariel's legs, she gets them and then she suddenly can't breath, then she gets rushed to the surface. However, people's favorite part is her gorgeous splash out of the water, so sparkly and beautiful, right in front of the sun, although that's not technically part of the transformation.

"I do like it when she splashes out of the water with that pretty hair though..." (DreamyGal)

"The ACTUAL transformation of Ariel isn't as impressive as the other two. It's just that moment when she splashes to the surface that everybody likes" (alafastanzio)

""It's the ULTIMATE transformation....The sparks, the music, the levitating." (livelydebate)
""It's the ULTIMATE transformation....The sparks, the music, the levitating." (livelydebate)

2. Beast's transformation into a human.

My Personal favorite transformation, this is the longest and most suspenseful. The Beast slowly lifts up and begins to spin around, light shining out of his fingertips and hands, and you see his face begin to transform. It's a suspenseful moment to wait and see what he looks like, and it's joyful at the same time because he has come back to life.

"Beast's transformation is the happiest, because it's after his "death", and then you realize that he's alive, and a human being!!" (ppv)

"I love Beast's transformation but at the end you see him and you want him to go back to beast because at least he didn't looked that gay when he was a beast! XD" (queenblairw)

"Fairytale magic <3" (SG1-090)
"Fairytale magic <3" (SG1-090)

1. Cinderella's transformation into a princess.

Short but amazing, a swirl of magic and sparks transforms Cinderella from a raggedy maid into a beautiful princess, ready for a night she will never forget. It was even Walt Disney's favorite piece of animation. This transformation is the epitome of disney magic.

"Cinderella's IS the esscence of fairytales." (queenblairw)

"...it's so magical and just represents disney in my opinion." (dweeb)

"it's beautiful =) " (pretty_angel92)
I wrote this because I was feeling random and strange. Plus my friends were like "We are geniuses, post this online." So I was like "this is pointless...but ok." So here is my pointless little blurb of weirdness.

Teacher/Mr.Moore: Ok class lets get down to business. I know you had a fun snow break but it's time to focus. today we will be baking muffins, we will follow the basic recipe but feel free to elaborate and make the muffin flavor of your choice. Come back to my class after school to finish the muffin project and be graded. Failure to complete this assignment will receive an F test grade....

Hi, I'm Princess Juliet. My parents are Eugene and Rapunzel Fitzherbert. They are EXTRODINARY. I and my little brother Noah, are their children. Mom's pregnant.

I looked at my little brother's crying face, I couldn't help but to ask,

"Noah, what happened?" I said. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Let me guess, mom went into labor?"
My brother nodded his head and hugged tightly around the neck.

"Uh-huh!" he said, nodding.

"Well, what are you crying about? She'll be fine!" I said.

"Really?" he asked. I grabbed the grip around my neck he had and nodded.

"Yes, really, Noah." I said, nodding. Then I went...

It's been a while since I wrote an article and I felt bored so I decided to write an article about my favorite hairstyle of each DP, so hope you'll enjoy reading this article!

Snow White: With red bow

As I mentioned in my favorite DP hair article I'm a big fan of the red bow and I still am. I do like her blue bow too, but red is my favorite color and it suits her better. I have the same hairstyle so I love wearing bows (even though I only have one).

Cinderella: Low ponytail

This is the only really good hairstyle that Cinderella has, the style is a bit weird, but it looks pretty on her,...

I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I've become quite tired of everyone bashing the earlier princesses and saying they're bad role models for girls. Personally, I think parents shouldn't be relying on fictional, animated characters to be the role models... but that's a whole different issue altogether. In this article I want to address the common complaints towards the princesses: waiting around for/needing a man, not being independent, etc...

Snow White:

I want to start with a reminder that Snow White is only 14-years-old. Face it, her story is no different than any other 14-year-old...

Congratulations for being January's Fan of the Month hajirah4! I noticed you like to voice your opinions so I'm going to ask why in every question haha.

1) How does it feel to be fan of the month?
It feels great. Even though i'm thankful, i'm quite surprised. A lot of the times i'd vote for the ones who I thought deserved it, and i'm surprised (but thankful) for people to choose somebody like me :)

2) Who is your favourite princess and why?
Ariel. When I was little I loved mermaids, and I always thought for the character (when I would read the book) to be very calm and peaceful, but when I saw...

Those of you using the word selfish still do not see that you are using this word the wrong way, and frankly seem like fake Ariel fans. Cause no Ariel fan would call her such a hateful, negative word. The definition of selfish is : "devoted to caring for oneself and ones interests only, greedy. Regardless of others". the words that can be used in place of of Selfish are : narcissistic, greedy, hoggish, mean, narrow-minded, out for number one, narcissistic, prejudiced, wrapped in oneself. This definition and these words do not describe Ariel at all in any way. They describe Ursula, and the other...

1 - Elsa is born with ice powers and we don't know how she got them

2 - If Anna was so worried about Elsa why was she wasting her time on Hans when she could be talking to her sister?

3 - Anna's main goal is to get her sister out of her room and when she does come out Anna doesn't give her more than a minute of attention aside from asking the blessing of her to marry someone.

4 - Anna wants to marry a guy she hasn't even know for 20 minutes.

5 - Couldn't of Elsa just froze the peoples feet so they would stop chasing her?

6 - Anna can't see a huge ice castle that's ontop of a huge hill but she can...

This is the first countdown that I have successfully completed in months, and this was an interesting concept. Thanks to everyone who participated in the countdown. Some films will age forever (or for hundreds of years), while some will die out in a decade.

Timeless:1. unaffected or unchanged by time; ageless
2. eternal

11. Aladdin

This one was the obvious first choice, and to be honest, is the only film that is not timeless out of the bunch. This film was praised especially for the pop-culture references coming from Genie but 20 years later, it is working to it's disadvantage. A lot of the...

11. Merida: Kelly Macdonald
I can't see many similarities between the two, but to be fair she was animated by Pixar and not Disney. They both seem like strong independent women though :). And I found a picture where they have similar hair!

12. Anna: Kristen Bell
I can see similarities in face shape. Also their eyes are both curvy. I have to admit that Kristen looks more like the original concept to the actual one. I Believe it was changed possibly to the complaints of fans that she looked too much like Rapunzel.

13. Elsa: Idina Menzel
They both have the same cheekbones,...

Fun fact: My favorite dress of Tiana's is her orange one!
So, about three months ago I made an article talking about why I love Aurora, and thought I should do an article for another underrated princess, Tiana. I also plan on doing an article for Snow, Punz, Poca, Mulan, and possibly some others.

While Tiana has gained a giant boost in popularity recently, in both looks and favorites, she is still very underrated. Tiana is probably one of the most unique princesses and definitely one of the most inspirational. I look up to Tiana, because unlike Mulan, I'm not going to be fighting in a war, and Tiana shows us a slice of reality. She's just a normal...

"I’d expect something better from a child of mine!"
Um, so this'll be my second ever fanfiction, it'll be mainly Tangled/Frozen/Brave with some other characters thrown in. Be sure not to expect anything to terribly good, I'm not really a good writer. But I write anyway because I like inflicting suffering in the form of making you guys read this drivel.

Chapter One: Severe Disadvantage

She was at a severe disadvantage.

Her pale blond hair, now matted and haven fallen out of it’s usual neat braid, flew behind her as she ran through the woods, stepping on thorns with her bare feet. Her prisoners outfit seemed to be made to constrict movement, a...

So as the title states, I recently started a countdown to see what Fanpop thinks is the Best DP Ending, and to be honest, I am shocked that some made it as far as it did and etc. For the countdown, I practically considered everything that happened right after the Villain's passing or defeat.

11. Tangled Ending (Rapunzel reunites with parents, Corona have a jam in the kingdom)

Practically, the overall consensus of this ending was that Flynn's dialogue of him getting drunk and them waiting YEARS AND MONTHS and such ruined it. They also thought that the flying cupid and such ruined the ending...
