9.Cinderella & Prince Charming
So, we start out list off with Cinderella and Prince Charming. They are the epitome of love at first sight- the prince her and thought damn, i gotta have me some of that! Basically the community thought this couple was the most shallow, as the Cinderella and Prince Charming never even talked before falling in love, and he only seemed to fall in love with her beauty.

8.Princess Snow White & The Prince
Not trailing far behind we have the Prince and Snow White. The Prince, who fell in love before seeing Snow White by just hearing her beautiful voice, speaks about one sentence to Snow White, sings a song to her, and then they are in love. Again, users mostly disliked this immediate romance becauseof the fact that the didn't even know each other before falling in love.

7.Mulan & Shang
One of the more realistic couples, Mulan and Shang fell in love because Shang basically fell in love with the soldier he'd come to admire and respect after finding out she was a girl, and Mulan had fallen in love with him during training. Although they are definitely one of the more realistic couples, a lot of people found it a little too unromantic they way they fell in love, and some called it creepy and suspected Shang had fallen in love with boy Mulan. (but who cares? it's sexier that way! That means Shang's a little kinky ;])

6.Princess Aurora & Prince Phillip
Again, another love at first song relationship. Prince Phillip hears her voice and is intrigued. He surprises her, they talk a little, have a quick dance, and fall in love. But they made it farther because I think people like the fact they don't realize who the other one is, which makes it more exciting. Not much more to say about them.

5.Pocahontas & John Smith
My personal favorite couple, Pocahontas and John Smith certainly have the most intense romance. John is exploring, Pocahontas is stalking, he almost shoots her and their romance begins. They are the best example of forbidden love. What kept them from reaching the top is at the end, of course, they seperate, leaving them not really a couple at all.

4.Princess Ariel & Prince Eric
Another love at first sight, but with a more meaningful relationship. Ariel spots Eric on the ship and falls in love, while Eric falls in love with her voice. People love the excitement of Eric not really knowing who she is and Ariel's dedication to trying to get him to kiss her, it's a real unrequited love. Their love at first sight, however, kept them from reaching any higher.

3.Belle & Beast
Arguably disney's most iconic couple, Belle and the Beast don't have the typical disney relationship. At first enemies, Belle and the Beast certainly don't have a love at first sight relatinship. Eventually Beast learns to shed his terrifying outer shell and show the prince within, and Belle falls in love with that. However, a lot of people dislike that Belle and Beast glamorize and abusive relationship, therefore they were left at number three.

2.Tiana & Prince Naveen
Disney's newest couple, Tiana and Naveen suprisingly made it to second place in our countdown. No love at first sight either, Tiana and Naveen actually don't like each other upon first meeting, but they're stuck together. Talk about opposites attract. Eventually Naveen starts to fall in love, and Tiana does too. Their love is possibly the most realistic of the couples, which is why they ranked so high. But they didn't rank high enough to beat...

1.Aladdin & Princess Jasmine
Everyone loves a tale of two totally different worlds colliding. If you notice on our countdown, the more opposite couples were, the higher they made it on our countdown. These two come from totally different worlds but have a chance meeting in the market place, where they then are again seperated until Aladdin meets her again in disguise. They then fall in love on the magic carpet ride. Aladdin and Jasmine are the perfect mix of love at first sight while still getting to know each other, thus earning their spot at number one.

I don't want this, but I will accept my duty as a princess and do what is right
I don't want this, but I will accept my duty as a princess and do what is right
I've read a few of these articles and thought I would do one for Jasmine, my favorite princess. So here it goes.
10. Aurora
Jasmine would have the least in common with Aurora. She would relate to her in the way that Aurora doesn't want to be a princess, she would rather be free to live her own life and marry whoever she wants rather than be told she must marry a prince. She would like that Aurora is kind and dreamy but the similarities end there. Whereas Aurora accepted her duty as a princess with a heavy heart and did what she knew was right for her people by marrying her betrothed, Jasmine...

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the most relateable of them all?
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the most relateable of them all?
So I did a poll to see who the most relatable princesses and these are the results. Some results are pretty surprising, but for the most it's expected. Let's get started!

11. Snow White

This round was pretty close between Snow and Ariel, but in the end, Snow was out. It didn't really surprise me to see Snow here, fans said that she was too cheery and optimistic. Other fans said that they are not waiting for their prince to come, and can't relate to Snow at all.

She is just completely unrelatable. I feel like she is too unrealistic and fantasy like and I just can't relate to her. I am very optimistic,...

It had been many years since the birth of their daughter Catori and though John Smith and Pocahontas were as healthy as ever and appeared as if they hadn’t even aged, it was their daughter they were concerned for. She was born a beautiful healthy baby girl and though she was just as beautiful as the day she was born, there was a change in her and the change got all the more worse with each passing day. John and Pocahontas spent many sleepless nights awake watching their daughter sleep to assure her safety. They often took turns in the night but as each sun rose, they stayed...

There's nothing wrong with, and I quote from my friend, "being unhealthily obsessed with Disney" right?
There's nothing wrong with, and I quote from my friend, "being unhealthily obsessed with Disney" right?
I've been here since May and I've posted a number of articles and has actually NEVER thought of posting an article to introduce myself. I was reading lexisimm's article and suddenly remembered I haven't done an article like that. So, yeah.

My name is Irene, and I live in Toronto, Canada. My birthday is the 3rd of February. I live with my younger brother, my parents, (yeah, what a surprise, I have parents.) and my dog, Latte.

My favourite DP is Rapunzel, but my favourite DP movie is The Princess and the Frog. I seriously think people are being too hard on that movie, but whatever. I also love...

Times change and disney couples too. From couples of 1937 and 1959 we go to couples of 2010 (in Tagled). The couples change, and the perceptions too. From couples, who are most like traditional and perfect-for-families couples to teen and modern couples. Lets analyze the couples to see.

First Snow White and prince Florian: a couple that met for the first time at the begining of the film, they both fell in love, but Snow was shy as all girls in those ages, the prince goes away with the promest of going back one day ( he doesn't says it, but we feel it). They both continue their lifes. As in those...
