One of the more exciting polls I've made, I was actually pretty surprised by the outcome in some ways, and totally unsurprised in others.
The Happiest, Dopiest, Grumpiest, Sneeziest movie of the year.
The Happiest, Dopiest, Grumpiest, Sneeziest movie of the year.

9.Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
"Snow White, pursued by a jealous queen, hides with the Dwarfs; the queen feeds her a poison apple, but Prince Charming awakens her with a kiss."

Snow White in last place? Unheard of! As usual, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs makes its usual debut in last place on the countdown. Although a small percentage of the community loves this movie and finds it charming, fun, and cute, the community as a whole finds Disney's first movie boring, old-fashined, and just not as exciting as the newer ones.

8.Sleeping Beauty
"A snubbed malevolent fairy casts a curse on a princess that only a prince can break, with the help of three good fairies. "

I was half surprised and half not surprised Sleeping Beauty was this low. Sleeping Beauty always seems to be either on top of people's lists, or on the bottom. A crowning achievement in disney animation, Sleepng Beauty is enjoyed by some as a beautiful love story filled with romance & is the epitome of a traditional princess story. Unfortunately, this time, it's on bottom. The majority of users said they found Sleeping Beauty boring and just too slow-paced.

7.The Princess and the Frog
"A fairy tale set in Jazz Age-era New Orleans and centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana and her fateful kiss with a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again."

Disney's newest movie was certainly a step in the right direction towards the classics. However, it may be the fact that it's so knew that it's lower in the countdown. A real down-home charmer, this movie was well-recieved by a lot of users as fun, exciting, and with a good amount of spunk and pizazz. Many people found this film just not as good as some of the classics, saying it's too modern to be fairy-taleish, and never reaches the true charm of the renaissance films.

6.Cinderella
"When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from the lovable mice Gus and Jaq, and from her Fairy Godmother. "

Cinderella, Walt Disney's favorite princess, managed to beat out a more modern movie in this countdown. It's a sweet movie, with a bit of romance and a lot of dreaming. Again, people found this movie a little plain and lacking excitement.
An American legend comes to life

5.Pocahontas
"The daughter of a Native American tribe chief and English soldier share a romance when English colonists invade 17th century Virginia. "

Pocahontas made it right to the middle of this countdown. With intense romance and fantastic music, Pocahontas certainly isn't a movie to sneeze at. A lot of people love this movie for it's tales of romance and it's nontraditional ending. But people also found it lacked a little in the humor department and found certain parts to be a bit bland.

4.The Little Mermaid
"A mermaid princess makes a faustian bargain with an unscrupulous seahag in order to meet a human prince on land."

I expected this movie to go farther than it did. An exciting tail of a girl wanted to be on land, that includes a whirlwind romance and lots of obstacles along the way, this is one of Disney's more exciting features. I think what turned a lot of people off from this film was because of the whole "love at first sight" deal, although I'm really not quite clear as to why Little Mermaid didn't go far in the countdown.

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all."

3.Mulan
"To save her father from death in the army, a Chinese maiden secretly goes in his place and becomes one of China's greatest heroes in the process."

Mulan is truly another movie that no one seems to dislike. It's the most exciting of the films, with fighting, a girl in disguise, and all of China in danger. People love this film for the fact that romance is not important, and it's kick-ass main character.

2.Aladdin
"Aladdin, a street urchin, accidentally meets Princess Jasmine, who is in the city undercover. They love each other, but she can only marry a prince."

Aladdin, busting with firecracker humor and a vivacious class, is a fast-paced film with a lot of excitment and adventure. People adore this film for it's hilarious cast, it's romance, and it's twist and turns along the way. It, yet again, should come as no surprise that the number one film is...

1.Beauty and the Beast
"Belle, whose father Maurice is imprisoned by the Beast (really an enchanted Prince), offers herself instead and finds the prince inside the Beast."

This film, which is no stranger to the number one spot, is considered disney's most critically acclaimed film. With a great soundtrack, great cast, romance everyone seems to love, beautiful animation, and and all around fantastic plot, this is a film that will be hailed as disney's best for all time.

Anna and Elsa are currently my least favorite Disney Princesses. So let's talk about them, shall we?

Well, I have a neutral feeling about Elsa and I hate Anna, let me explain why.

I have a neutral feeling about Elsa because I feel like not only is her part in the movie annoyingly twisted (I know she's not supposed to be the antagonist, but when it comes to the end she's done just as bad as Hans has done. Frozen does a HORRIBLE job explaining to you about who the antagonist is. They probably think it's a cool twist but I don't think it is. Not only is it not clear about who the antagonist is,...

Ok, so I have a lot to discuss in the top section today. First, I would like to give Bellerose829 credit for thinking if this idea. Second, I will be using a different method, also thought up by Bellerose829. In this method, each Princess will start out with zero points, and will lose or gain points from cartian things about their appearance. +1 means that the feature is nice, it adds to their beauty overall. +2 means that it is a great feature, adding more to their beauty than a plus 1. +3 not only means it adds a lot to their beauty, but is a unique feature of the Princess that makes them...

Bonjour!
Today I am going to be telling you the original fairytales before Disney retold them. (They're not necessarily the first, original versions of the stories but they are dark ones). You might know most of these and that's cool, but in case you didn't, here they are. Please note I have done some research - I'm not just making it up.
This article should probably be in the Disney Club, but the majority of these stories are Disney Princess and heroine stories. Besides, I like to get feedback and nice comments and I hardly ever get comments in the Disney club.
These aren't ranked or in a countdown,...

when I found out I was FOTM of January, I was estatic. c: It was really nice to know my contributions were appreciated in the club.

2. Your favorite Princess and why?
It's Pocahontas! It's been this way for a while now. I love what she stands for, her personality, her little quirks, such as her indecisiveness, and so much more. She is just amazing. <33

3. Your least favorite Princess and why?
That unfortunate place belongs to Elsa. I just can't like her! Her backstory was meh,...
