Because I haven't seen her movie in a while I don't have too much of an opinion of her but I do like her. I do like how curious she is and I always think it's funny that she just straight up eats whatever she finds without hesitation -BB2010

I love how she is very curious and unlike other female protagonists at the time, actually did go through a character arc. She had to learn that nonsense had its place but having it happen all the time just isn't the way for a world to function. I love how she can be frustrated but also be fun-loving. She has a spunky, fiery, and witty side to her that may not be as extreme as someone like Megara or Jasmine but she still has it. She's honestly my favorite heroine from Walt's era. -KataraLover

She's adorable! -deedragongirl

Probably, the best part of Alice is her inner debate with herself. She wants to be "spontaneous" but never seems to really let go of her "hesitation." The least hesitation Alice shows is while eating and drinking. But for everything else, she hesitates. I like the fact that Alice is attempting to reason with herself. Alice does belong in the thoughtful characters listing: she is one character who questions who she is, and why she does the things she does. -wavesurf
10. Snow White
________________
Although she is one of the classics, her voice, oh the voice!!!
She looks decent, she cowers over everything! Her dress is cute but she is dumb. She eats an apple to a complete stranger that was so suspicious. Even the animals didn't like the witch.

9.Pochantas
___________
First, the movie was historically inaccurate. Second, she falls in love with John Smith, which is again, historically inaccurate. She possessed an ability to talk to a tree who guided her. No other princess talked to a tree. Not even Snow White. If Pochantas was is your favorite princess, I am sorry...

Yup. We got ourself's a cooking princess.
Yup. We got ourself's a cooking princess.
Now as we all know Tiana isn't really that popular on fanpop...am I the only person that LOVES her?
I mean this girl is basically brought Disney to a whole new level!!! She can cook, make a raft, she can dance, she can also sing in a BROADWAY voice. Not a lot of DP's have a broadway-like voice other than Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and maybe Jasmine or Rapunzel but I doubt it. Just about half.
Now I'll be telling a few reasons why this modern princess deserves a little bit of support, clapping, and bravos.

In the next months, I'll write a series of 8 articles (well, I'll continue only if you like them, of course). The first 7 articles will be about separate aspects of the DP movies (Score, princess, couple, screenplay, villain, sidekicks and animation/art), and in the final article I'll make the average of the grades I gave the movies in each aspect and make my favorite DP Movies list = )

This is the second article in the series "Animaluco's TOP 10". It covers all DP Movies' screenplays! Enjoy!

10. Cinderella - 6,75

This movie's screenplay has nothing special. Though it doesn't show any...

I'm writing this article because with all due respect to everyone's opinion I could never appreciate the double standards surrounding Ariel’s character with all the “she left her family behind because of a guy despite canon clearly stating she dreamt of being a part of a human world long before even knowing Eric exists” sort of statements. And I don’t really like comparing Disney girls and writing character A vs. character B kinds of posts, but I feel like sometimes it is the only way to make a point.

So I’m taking two Disney princesses that I really love: Ariel and Pocahontas.

Ariel...

Now let me tell you a few facts about Rose Red and some other characters in this story before I continue with my story. Rose Red is as stated in the last part 18 years old at this point, but when she took the walk with her mother in the first part she was only 7 years old. The queen in the story is named Victoria, but is often called Vicki, she used to know the queen that lived in the castle before her, but who now was gone after being killed by a huge stone after falling of a cliff. Harold is around 20 years old and of course a criminal. Victoria wants to set him in prison for all his crimes...

Charming choked out dirty water as he struggled to stay afloat. He could hear his wife screaming his name somewhere, but the pain in his stomach wouldn't leave his mind alone.
Le Fou was slapping the water with his arms and shouting out nonsense. Among them, Charming heard, "I can't swim!"
Great, Char. Now you're gonna have to do the right thing. He started paddling toward Le Fou but drew back after the pain stung him again. He looked into the black water and saw red coming.
"Le Fou, hold onto Princey!" Gaston yelled.
Le Fou scrambled toward the prince and climbed onto him.
Charming groaned....

I know, plenty of people have did a list like this and a lot more lists as well so woo-hoo, I'm doing one too. Look at me, I'm joining the crowd. Yay. Anyway, I feel that since this is the month for Disney Princess Couples on this spot, now would be the perfect time to figure out which couples goes where. I already knew my top two, and now I think I've got all the rest worked out. So sit back, have some popcorn, and enjoy the list that's probably exactly like a bunch of other people's!

9) Snow White & the Prince♥
Typical to put them down so low, I know. I have nothing against either of...

"Once Upon a Time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess"-
Nope. If you're looking for the cliche fairytale of how a motherless drop dead gorgeous 16 year old with a horrible life, who then meets a prince, talks to him for a bit, and then marries him the next day, this isn't the story for you. For this story doesn't have a typical beginning, nor a typical ending, and very few typical things in between
Our story starts off in a place called Aladora, ever heard of it? Probably not. For Aladora's in an alternate dimension, and is very different from our world. Aladora is nothing but...

YAY I GOT A KEYBOARD FOR MY BIRTHDAY :D
9.Pocahontas, I thought she would at least make it a little higher due to her playfulness and curiosity, but I guess, people say she's too mature and serious.

8.Mulan, I do wonder why she made it this low as well, she's so clumsy and cute at times, but people say she's more cool than cute.

7.Jasmine, people just consider her a spoiled brat.

6.Belle, so many people just find her boring and uninteresting.

5.Tiana, she looks cute, but she's far too serious.

4.Aurora, she does have her cute moments, but she's more graceful and angelic more than anything.

3.Cinderella, she is kind and innocent, but she's a bit more mature.

2.Ariel, She's cute but there are times when she is sassy, and rude.

1.Snow White, IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME SHE WINS SOMETHING!!!!
What do I have to say? She, sweet, innocent and bubbly.

Aurora walked around a bit and with a glance of glee, she found the other six princesses sleeping under the tree. “Hello!” Aurora greeted.
“Mmm...mmm…” Snow White replied sleepily, she was not totally awake yet.
“Apparently they don’t hear us,” John Smith told Aurora. “Let me try.”
John Smith walked toward Pocahontas and with a gentle voice, he whispered, “Pocahontas, I am back.”
Pocahontas abruptly woke up, waking up the other six princesses. After she...

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...
