Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh let's just get this over with...

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
Last time watched: 2008

How much did I like this movie as a kid?

I didn't. Like, at all. In fact, after we see how Ariel's mom died that was it for me. Okay, so let me start from the beginning; If you've read my articles about TLM and TLM 2, you know that TLM is one of my most favorite movies and was a huge part of my childhood so when I was 15 years old I found out that there was going to be another movie of course I was excited! I was thinking, "Yay! We'll get to see more of Melody! We'll get to see Ariel with Eric again! We'll get a new villain and see old characters and new characters!" but once I found out this movie was a prequel, needless to say I was pretty disappointed. Unless it's a movie done right I'm not a prequel fan. We see a movie taking plase before the main story and we're supposed to be all worried for the characters and be all, "Omg the main character is dead! :'( " but it's like...how? How are we supposed to be so worried about all of that when we see all of them safe and sound in the main story? Especially when the plot of the prequel is "Blaaaargh no music, Ariel!/But daddy we need music!" and in TLM the first time we see Atlantica we see everyone going to a concert and we see characters singing all the time! I mean, seriously! What?? And while the music ban is for a sad reason, who do you ban music for THAT long even though it was something your wife loved so much? Like, okay grieving can take a long time but to actually get angry at your own children for wanting to sing or play instruments several years later? Especially when it's clear that no one has been happy for so long? I'm sorry, rambling. Anyway, after I heard that this movie was going to be a prequel I was disappointed but I wanted to check it out anyway. So the week the movie was released I rewatched both TLM in one night and then popped the prequel in as soon as I was home alone (family tried to get me to stop watching so much cartoons once I became a teenager) and I remember being so...bored and annoyed. I barely remember any of the songs save for Athena's song and I still can't believe the missed opportunity to give the audience the story of what happened to Ursula and how Ariel got so interested in humans. I know in the tv show we see how Ariel learned that humans weren't all evil and how she met Flounder but for a lot of kids today unless they have a relative who has any episodes on tape or dvd or disney channel plays the show at a more reasonable time, how many kids will tell you they have actually even heard of the tv series?

How much of this movie have I forgotten:
I forgot how rushed the opening was. We don't see Athena with her daughters too much except for at the beginning and in a flashback but that's it. It's kinda hard to have an emotional connection to a character who only had a few lines and then died trying to grab her music box. She stayed behind to save Attina at first why couldn't that have been the real reason instead of such a materialistic one? I know it was an anniversary present but still. On new years eve there was a bad fire in my apartment building and you know what I grabbed when I ran out? Not a christmas or birthday present, not my wedding album, I grabbed my cat. I didn't think of anything else, I just grabbed my cat from under the bed and made sure my husband was right behind me on our run out.

I forgot that Marina had such a ridiculous reason for what she does in this movie. Really? She just wants Sebastian's job? That's it? At least with Morgana even though she was just trying to be "mother's favorite" she's at least more memorable than Marina del Ray. And I'm still confused about how she could have found the club so quickly when Ariel had to follow Flounder and Marina didn't even follow anyone. She just saw the girls were gone and then just randomly found it. Also, what's with her outfit changes? Does she decorate her tail a different color, put some kind of cover over her tail, or are the writers trying to make it seem like she can just change out of her tail?

And plot hole: Even though music is forbidden in the kingdom how is Marina not arrested or anything when she was singing twice in this movie?

Flounder has to be the most out of character in this sequel. He was acting way too brave compared to the original, especially when he decided to just play music out in the open before he met Ariel. Yeah, he thought he was alone but it was still a dumb move. And when he wasn't being brave out of nowhere he was being annoying.

I'm sorry I had a hard time taking Ariel's almost death seriously. There's evil electric eels and the thing that looks like almost kills her is just Marina running into her? That was the almost death?

Movie:
While I still thought this movie was dull and frustrating and the new characters and songs weren't as memorable or good as TLM or TLM 2, the animation was much better than TLM 2 at least and we got to see more of Ariel with her sisters which is something we didn't get to see in either of TLM movies.

Rating: 0/10

How much has my opinion changed?
It hasn't

Would I watch it again?
Hell nope

The next movie will be Moana!
Good day, everyone! I decided to write my opinion about each princess( except Moana because I didn't watch the movie and have personal reasons not to watch it, sorry). It would be difficult for me to rank all princesses so I'll give you only my TOP-4. The rest won't be ranked, just characterised by me. Please, respect my opinion and don't write angry comments.

The princesses who are not in my TOP-4 ( random order) and why

Elsa

Elsa is relatable but I prefer admirable princesses to relatable ones. I really dislike Let it Go and its message, I really dislike Elsa's Snow Queen outfit and overall...

Today is the third Sunday of a new school year, which is exactly three years sine I became a fan of Frozen. As a result, I wanted to celebrate it, by writing down my entire history regarding this movie, and how it changed my life, forever.

Now, I will only write down the parts where it impacted me, and how it changed me.

Before we start, wanted to put a disclaimer that this article will get personal, and even kind of depressing in some parts. Also, if you read my previous articles, then you're mostly familiar with my history. The majority of this article will include things I've already said...

A year after they had a prank battle at a faraway city Anna and Elsa were at the same city again. They did some more trade business.

Princess Anna said "Do you remember the last time we were here?"

Queen Elsa said "Of course. It was a only a year ago."

Anna giggled and said "It was fun."

Elsa said "But we got chased by bees and lost our pants."

Anna said "Yeah. That was a great day."

Elsa said "Well I'm glad that the Duke of Weselton isn't here this time."

The Duke of Weselton said "I'm here this time." The Duke saw Anna and Elsa and said "It's time for...

Princess Anna tap danced into the living room. Anna said "Elsa I have exciting news."

Queen Elsa said "Oh dear."

Anna said "Elsa why can't you have a more excited reaction to good news?"

Elsa said "Because your exciting news tends to be more scary than fun."

Anna sighed and said "This news is fun. Lex Luthor is working on a business deal nearby."

Elsa said "Oh no. He's a dangerous business man."

Anna happily said "He sure is. He will probably do evil scheme that will get our city in danger which means Superman...

Note: Captain Underpants and Frozen are not owned and created by me. This is a story for Fanpop and Fanfiction.net.

Professor Poopypants and the Duke of Weselton were tired of losing all the time so they decided to team up.

Professor Poopypants said "This is going to be our biggest victory yet."

The Duke of Weselton said "I agree."

The 2 villains laughed and started attacking Principal Krupp's school. Professor Poopypants said "I will get my revenge on the silly school."

Principal Krupp angrily said "How many times do I have to remind you that no villains are allowed to take over the school?"

George...

Anna said "Good news Elsa."

Elsa said "Oh no."

Anna said "I said good news. You should be saying yay."

Elsa said "Yay."

Anna said "A fellow super hero wants to meet us. Come on."

Elsa said "Okay."

Anna and Elsa went to their hero cave and put on their costumes. They wore underclothes, a mask, cape, and boots. The only difference between Anna and Elsa's costumes is that Anna's is pink and Elsa's is blue.

Elsa said "I feel silly dressed like this."

Anna said "You should be proud. We are about to meet the super hero...

Hello Belle, we meet again!
Hello Belle, we meet again!
Hi guys, since I had already written my review as well as comparing both the 1991 and the 2017 versions. Here are my personal dislikes on the live action reboots as well as a number of things that I was not happy about the film, ready?

The Beast's Appearance

After reading many of the reviews and people on forums regarding the beast's appearance, I have to agree. He doesn't look very beastly enough, he looks more like a monkey with a goat's horns and a body of a bear! This is the main reason why I wasn't very happy at all, I prefer his 1991 animated appearance, with the exception of his human...

I would like to write 2 new songs from 2017 reboot of the 1991 classic and the reasons why I love them, here we go!

Evermore

I first heard Josh Groban's rendition of this wonderful song, he nailed the song perfectly and I heard it played twice at the lobby at my hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam on way back to the airport twice.
Initially, I thought he was going to dub Dan Stevens, until I heard the latter. Prompting me to surprise and that he followed his Downton Abbey costar, Lily James who played the title character in the 2015 reboot of Cinderella.

How Does A Moment Last Forever?

Upon listening to this song by Celine Dion, I felt that this song really suits my personality as well as my relationship with my family.
I love how Maurice sang a short reprise at the beginning, it really explores his character more. This is something that I really cherish!

Which Way?

So, which of these 2 songs are your favourites?
The Brothers Grimm
The Brothers Grimm
Since I had written Hans Christian Andersen, now it is his German counterparts. The Brothers Grimm, I know that many of their stories are dark and sinister. But, I'm sure that Disney will know how to handle it!

1) The Twelve Brothers

Okay, this story is quite similar to the Wild Swans. It also has a happy ending and I kind of feel bad for the girl during the majority of the story.

2) Rumpelstiltskin

I bet you all know the story, and it was my favourite story of all times since I was young. The ending has several different versions, so it's up to Disney to decide!

3) The Brave Little Tailor

We...

Tiana: Tanzanite
Personally I have never liked that lime green on her.. I think a brilliant cobalt blue would have suited her skin tone much better. Just like Tanzanite. It's fiery brilliance and depth would suit Tiana for her undeterred dedication and her quiet strength. She does have panache when it comes to her clothes, so a bit offbeat jewel while being among the class of diamonds would suit her the best.

Its soft shine and warmth makes it a...
