Tell me if I'm not the only one crying here,am I?
Tell me if I'm not the only one crying here,am I?
Okay, before we get into to this,I want to say that yeah,I did say that the movie could've been better if Elsa had more screen time, but over-time opinions have changed. So,let's get into it shall we:
Now,I can understand this,Elsa is a wonderful character, but there are couple reasons why the scenes she had are what had to be.

The first is the development in the story.I don't know if using GCI allowed faster development time than hand drawn films, but this film had barely two years of proper development(Tangled had six, although much of it was to get the CGI good as it is),and even later before they solidified the characters.Keep in mind the Elsa was going to be the villain until late in the game.
So it's not very likely that they had much time to flesh out Elsa's story any further, when they didn't even know what Elsa is going to be for much of it.Elsa ans Anna being sisters was a late addition.
The second reason is less is more. The fact that Elsa has left many fans, myself included, wanting even more of her, does show how well the character was done. But would it have worked as well in this specific story? I'm not sure?
What drove Elsa's character into anxiety and depression over her worry that her powers will harm others. And let me tell you,as someone who's suffering a bit from depression, focusing too much on that will only depress the story.Other movies that focus on depression work much better by not focusing from just that(like the film Ordinary People, which was about the family instead of just the surviving brother).
Now you could say that there could be more focus on her when she feels free from her old life. That would depend on what was showed. If it was just her playing around enjoying her new life, that would of course would just be padding. It could have worked if it showed hints of her looking back, but knowing that couldn't be,but that does get established in the film when Anna meets her at the ice castle.
Again,it's less being more.
If there was anything that could've been fleshed out more,I think it should have been better foreshadowed what happened right after the climax, which felt kind of rushed to me.But again, considering the scramble try to make the story as relatable as it is,I can live with that.
Besides, just like in the early 3D Sonic games where Shadow the Hedgehog got his own game due to his popularity, maybe in the upcoming sequel they'll make Elsa the focus this time(but if they give Elsa a love interest, that would RUIN the movie for me).
Now many have claimed(including myself)that Elsa should have gotten more scenes because Anna isn't a good protagonist due to being stupid.[b]That is utter bullsh*t.
I hope you guys enjoyed my article and leave your thoughts about in the comment section bellow,I don't really rely on others opinions, but it would be nice to see what you guys think.
As always,Smell ya' later!

Snow White: Red bow

I've already explained why I love the bow in 2 other articles, but as I've said before I've always loved this bow ever since I was a child and I will always have this as my favorite accessory, it's so cute and I have the same hairstyle so I suit in bows perfectly well.

Cinderella: Blue headband

As you know I really hate the bun, but the headband is very lovely and of course it suits the dress perfectly. I also love how sparkly the headband is and I would love to wear this headband someday.

Aurora: Golden tiara

I decided to take a break from my fan-fiction writning and write something else. I love listening to music so I decided to list 10 songs, one for each princess that I think suits them the best and why so here we go!

Snow White (Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves):

Well title says it all, when I first heard the song I instantly thought of Snow White because well it feels like she's walking on sunshine during the whole movie, it's mainly the refrain that makes me think of her.
Here's the link to the song: link

Cinderella (Never Had A Dream Come True by S Club 7):

Well I am happy to say I was able to finally get an interview with the characters from Disney’s Princess and the Frog! We had some fan questions for Dr. Facilier so we decided to hold the interview at Mamma Odie’s house in order for her to summon him and control him. Tiana, Naveen, and Charlotte agreed to meet me there.

(When I arrived Naveen greeted me and helped me inside. Tiana was handing out snacks and Mama Odie…well..She looked to be sleeping. And Charlotte actually came up and gave me a huge hug…I about suffocated in all the flounces she was wearing…guess she thought there...

WARNING!!!! The following story may be disturbing to both Snow White lovers and haters. Reader discursion is advised…
Now I present my sneak peek Dark Endings version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Enjoy…

One song, I have but one song. One song, only for you…Snow White quietly hummed the beautiful song her mystery prince sang to her earlier that day. She was picking wildflowers in the meadow near her castle home. Her stepmother, the Queen, had allowed her to pick the newly bloomed daisies in the field, as long as her best (and only) huntsman, Humbert, accompanied...

I am so excited to get to do my next interview with the Characters from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty! The Major characters have consented to come and Purgatory is even allowing Maleficent to come (with a heavy guard of course) . All the questions are from Fans and this shall be an interesting interview. (the first to arrive is Aurora and Phillip, but they seem a little uncomfortable with the fact that Maleficent is coming. The three good fairies come in next and make sure they are in the middle so that Aurora does not have to be near her enemy….Maleficent Ghost shows up late, but she is bound...

I recently got to sit down with the characters of Disney’s Snow White and interviewed them using questions from their fans. The Evil Queen and the Huntsman ghosts were even allowed to leave Purgatory for this grand event. Doc came as the spokesman of the Dwarfs so that the others could stay in the mines and work. Please enjoy this raw and in-depth look into their interesting lives.

(We all settled down in our chairs….the queen and huntsman were on one side in chains with a purgatory guard behind them….the Prince and Snow were on the other side with Doc in the middle….I noticed right...

Mulan led Chun by holding her reins and began the time she was younger. Mulan said " Well I was above your age when I first learned the Huns were attacking..." Leah loved listening to her mother's story about when she was younger. Mushu was sitting on a tree branch not saying a word. Leah looked at him and said "Hello Mushu." Mushu said " Hello." Mulan led Chun all around their home and even out of the area. They reached as far Leah said " Stop" the whole time however for Leah it felt they where begin watched by someone, but someone Leah didn't know but Mulan and Shang would. That night Leah...

I'm reworking my origional "Top 5" article to incorporate my changes of heart and new found love for a couple of characters, as well as include ALL of the Princes, not just those I found really attractive.

10. Prince Charming

I'm not even going to waste my time giving him a summary - he looks like a plastic Ken doll. Period.

9. The Prince

Hmm…nice pearly whites, thick brown locks… I guess you could call him good-looking, but personally, I don’t see it.

New people are coming in this spot everyday, and then they want to write their own article & I think it's about time someone wrote a detailed tutorial on how to write one, because it's no easy task. So I decided to do it. This article is mainly for people who want to learn, but if the experienced can think of any other tips, please comment.

Step 1: Think of a topic
Most of the articles on this site are opinion articles, like "My Favorite Princesses" or "My Favorite Princess Movies". These are fun to do, but be careful when choosing the list you want to write. The best ideas for opinion articles...

"Rise and shine, sleepy head!" Mushu said in a playful voice "C'mon girl, you got chores to do!"
"Urrrrgghh!!!" Mulan said with a frustrated voice; she pulled her duvet over her and buried her head in her pillow, trying to drone out Mushu's voice.
"How 'bout a morning kiss from pretty-boy?" Mushu asked flirtatiously raising his brows up and down.
"How did you know?" Mulan asked (a little confused).
"Girl, you talk in your sleep!" Mushu said then did his Mulan voice "Oh, General Shang! Marry you- oh I do, I do-" Mulan swiftly got out of bed and put her hand over Mushu's mouth."Okay, I get it! I'm...

"Please Rapunzel, open up! Let me talk to you!" Eugene pleaded.
"NO! All you want to do is make out with me!" Rapunzel screamed- just then, her parents were walking past Rapunzel's room.
"Is she alright?" asked the Queen.
"Oh absolutely! She's just having some girl issues- nothing serious! Run along now." Eugene said as calmly as he could giving his parents-in-law a big smile and a...

Me from 2009
Me from 2009
Okay I am finally writing one of these...so here goes:

I have been on Fanpop since 2007, but I have taken some sabbaticals here and there. My name is Kim and I am the 30 yr old mother of 3 beautiful girls. This June me and my prince will have been married 10 wonderful yrs. We live in TN, but I am originally from TX. I received my BA (major/minor ART)in 2007 and hope to one day go back to college and get my Masters and become a art teacher, but as of right now my job is being a stay-at-home mom (and I love it!)Also on a side note I know that I look young, but I am 30. Many people think that my...

Here is my opinion on the best DP hair, once again my number 1 is going to surprise, but like I have said before I hope you will have a wonderful reading time and don't forget to leave a comment! I'm basing it mostly after how many of the different styles that I love.

10. Cinderella

I don't like her hair that much, it looks like it could fit a doll rather than a cartoon character because it looks plastic to me. The only hairstyle that I love is the low ponytail in around the beginning. The hairstyle that I hate the most is the bun that she has on the ball and in the end with a veil, I'm...

I'm in such a soundtrack mood so I decided to take a break from my favorite DP speaking voices which I haven't even started to write. I love soundtracks so this list was harder to write than the others. I will post links to my favorite scores and favorite songs in each movie. Image credit goes to disneyscreencaps.com.

10. The Princess and the Frog
Don't get me wrong, I love this soundtrack, but not as much as the others. I love jazz music and Randy Newman did a good job with making the soundtrack. This is also the only soundtrack I have in home, I got it for Christmas 2009 from my oldest brother...

(cuing Heather O'Rourke from Poltergeist) I'm baaaaack!

Yes, I have returned after taking some much needed breaks and planning out more articles. I was kinda winging and only gonna do princess evaluations like I've been doing, but then I thought of other stuff in a DP movie. So, I've finally come up w/ 10 official categories.

This one, will be the last in solo princess evaluation. Meaning this is the last time I'll focus on just the princesses. The next parts are aspects of the DP movies, but not the princesses themselves.

Does that sound smart? Good, 'cause this is...

20. Aurora - peasant dress

I was actually quite shocked to see this dress eliminated. Last year it was the winner of the Best DP outfit countdown; this year it barely made it to the top 20. I quite like it. The skirt is really pretty, and I adore the corset....

Fair Warning~I have not watched all the disney princess movies in long time. So I am positive if I watch them all again my list would change a bit. But I do not have access to all of them. But this is my list as of now. && I have never given much thought to the couples till now.

10. Snow White && Prince Ferdinand

I do not have much to say about this one. Because we know nothing about them as a couple. They look cute together && I think they would have a good time getting to kow each other but I had to put them last because I know nothing. (I have recently watched this...

Sorry I am going to put you guys through another one of these but I only have a little time and I thought it would be an easy article to start with. P.S. please leave your pitchforks and torches at home I know some of you can get really bad about this kinda stuff but do leave your opinions!

10. Pocahontas
This girl is just really boring to me and I know I am not the only one. She's boring and all that honky dory stuff about nature get on my nerves.

9. Aurora
You all know this girl does exactly nothing in her film. Nada! 18 minutes! I like that she is romantic but she seems a little hypocritical...

All the princesses are pretty. No doubt about that. This just a list of who I think is REALLY the fairest of them all.

10.Snow White
Honestly, I don't see how the beautiful queen is jealous of her. I don't even see how she's prettier than the queen. Sure, she's cute, but not beautiful or anything. Her nose is much too pudgy and her eyes sometimes look a bit odd, like too squinty. She's got nice hair, but I think it's a bit too short. Also, unlike other princesses, she's barely hit puberty yet. That doesn't help her image.

Punctual!

This time around, Mulan is not listed - although the movie overall is very down to earth, there is a little bit magic, mainly Mushu's transformation from stone into flesh. But those sequences are too short to be considered here.

9. Princess and the Frog: There is a lot of magic going on in Princess and the Frog – but since the magic of Facilier belongs into the category villain song, only the transformations at the very end (Ray to star and Tiana and Naveen into humans) will be taken into account here. And it’s at the bottom of the list for a simple reason: They are not memorable....
