The next morning, Shang and Merida awoke still side by side. They were both appalled. "Let's pretend this never happened." Shang said in a shaky voice. Merida, on the other hand, didn't know what to think. Had she turned into a back-stabber? "Did you hear me?" Shang asked. Merida shook her head to get out of her thoughts. "I did." she answered as firmly as possible. She and Shang headed back inside.

Mulan and Pocahontas were in the kitchen preparing breakfast. "How excited are you about becoming a mother?" Mulan asked. "It's nerve-wracking, but because I've wanted a child for so long, it'll be worth it!" Pocahontas answered. "Having your first child CAN be nerve-wracking." Mulan replied in agreement. "My mother would come over at least twice a day when I first had Ping." she continued. Mulan had a rough time with Ping when he was teeny tiny. Now, she handled motherhood like a pro.

She and Pocahontas suddenly heard whispering. "If Mulan finds out, we're dead!" Merida said. Mulan smiled as she got on-hand pretty quick of what she was talking about. "Merida, don't worry about you and Shang. I saw you guys huddled up, but you guys were only keeping each other warm." she said. Merida started breathing heavily as relief swam over her body. Mulan went to check on Ping. "Mulan!" Shang said as he went to catch up with her.

"Mulan, it's not what you thought it was!" Shang pleaded. "Shang, relax. I don't have a problem with you and Merida being huddled up like that." Mulan replied happily and gently. "Are you sure? I'm surprised you're not going ballistic, because, me.. And Merida... Accidentally-" "Don't worry about a thing. I'm not mad. It was a chilly night and you guys were warming each other up." she cut off a stuttering Shang gently rubbing the back of his neck. "But I guarantee you, it'll NEVER happen again!" he swore. Mulan smiled as he sniffled.

"Are you getting a cold, General?" Mulan asked with concern. "Me? NO. I never get sick!" Shang answered. "Mmm. What about that time when Mushu accidentally put poisoned oak in your lunch-time tea?" Mulan remembered. "THAT was a careless mistake by HIM, love." Shang replied coyly. "Then again, Mushu IS pretty careless." Mulan stated. "You're right." Shang replied. The two laughed.

"What was that fiasco all about?" Pocahontas asked. "Why do YOU want to know?" Merida asked fighting back. "Because I only want to protect Mulan!" Pocahontas screamed. She realized she got ahead of herself. "I'm sorry." she apologized. "You should know. Shang and I...Woke up next to each other." Merida confessed. "You WHAT?" Pocahontas screamed again. "It was an accident!" Merida pleaded. "Not on purpose?" Pocahontas asked. "NO!" Merida answered.

"If that wasn't on purpose, why would you DO such a thing?" Pocahontas exclaimed. "YOU weren't there, Lass! YOU never saw it happen!" Merida argued. "So what if I never saw it happen? I have a right to know things when I feel a friend is being betrayed!" Pocahontas stabbed. Merida felt the anger boiling up inside her. "HOW DO YOU THINK I FELT WHEN YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE PREGNANT BY LETTER?!? HOW DO YOU THINK I FELT ABOUT THAT?!?" Merida boiled. Pocahontas realized her friend had had it. Merida had also let the best of her sensitivity get to her.

"Merida..." Pocahontas tried to say. "NO! I don't ever want to have anythin' to do with you again!" Merida cracked. She ran off in tears. Shang came by with a saddened look on his face. "I don't know what I did wrong..." Pocahontas said on the verge of tears herself. "Just give her some time to cool off." Shang comforted softly. Yes, the reader is probably thinking "Pocahontas and Merida just had their first fight!", and it was a NASTY one.

It is no secret the Disney’s Princess franchise is one of the most lucrative for young children today. It is the number one girls’ toy brand in the US and made profits of $4 billion in worldwide sales. Therefore, these characters are going to be role models for countless girls across the world. I want to look at what lessons children can take from these characters and stories that will be positive and why each of these characters can be a positive role model to girls- and boys, for that matter- of any age.

Snow White
Snow White has incredible emotional strength. She is able to handle everything...

I thought to myself: Why just restrict yourself to their singing? I mean, you have nothing better to do except that entry to that dA contest you keep procrastinating.
All the princesses, sadly, have American accents. Even though most of them aren't American. Goddamnit. Would it kill for Belle to have a sweet French accent and Aurora to have a German one? Jus' sayin'.
Anyway, yes, speaking voices. This took some thought. On with the countdown!
Go find your own fucking swearing warning.

I did not make up this poem. I found it on youtube and I thought it was really cute. I just wanted to share. Hope you enjoy!

Cinderella walked on broken glass

Aurora let a whole lifetime pass

Belle fell in love with a hideous beast

Pocahontas risked her life for a feast

Jasmine could have chose anyone instead she chose a poor man

Ariel walked on land all for love and for life

We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an unperfect person perfectly.
