A long time ago I wrote an article about my favorite DP Movie Intros, this time I'm writing about my favorite scenes where the princesses are introduced for the first time at their movie age (the age they are majority of the movie) so for some princesses it's their very first scene (Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas and Mulan), for others it comes slightly later (Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida) and for some it comes much later (Anna and Elsa)

13. Anna

Anna is one of my favorite Disney Princesses, but her introduction scene is my least favorite, it's unmemorable in comparsion to the others and also too short, but I do think the scene introduces Anna's character in a good and quite funny way

12. Belle

This is not a bad first scene, but I don't like it as much as the others, this is a quite long scene, but it's quite boring for me compared to the scenes above. Also the scene doesn't introduce Belle's character in a perfect way, but I prefer it over Anna's first scene since it's longer and less boring and more memorable

11. Aurora

Again, not a bad first scene, but in comparsion to the scenes above this scene is nothing special and like Belle's first scene it doesn't introduce Aurora's character so perfect, but it's a better character introduce than Belle's

10. Mulan

This scene reminds me a slight bit of Anna's first scene, but this one is much better, it introduces Mulan very well, but once again the scene is a little boring and nothing special compared to the 9 above

9. Merida

This scene is quite funny, I love Merida's surprised look when she notices her mother looking at her and the scene introduces Merida's character very well, it shows that she clearly doesn't like to be a princess, but it's nothing special compared to the 8 above

8. Tiana

This scene is quite nice, I love that we get to see how much Tiana loved her father in this scene and it's also a quite realistic scene, but overall it's not a great introduction of Tiana, it shows off many of her negative traits and the scene itself is unmemorable in comparsion to the 7 above

7. Rapunzel

Another really funny scene, I love that Pascal is trying to hide and Rapunzel finds him quickly, but the scene doesn't focus on Rapunzel and therefore it's hard to say how well her character is introduced in this scene, but I would say that off what we see of her it's a pretty good introduction of her

6. Cinderella

This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie, I love how the birds tries to wake Cinderella, that always makes me laugh, this scene introduces Cinderella's character very well, we notice how dreamy she is and how she never gives up hope on that someday her dreams will come true, but it's just not as good as the top 5

5. Jasmine

This is my favorite scene in the movie, it introduces Jasmine's character very well, like Merida's first scene we get to know that Jasmine doesn't like being a princess and just wants to be free like the birds in the cage and that she wants to marry for love, but the 4 above are just better

4. Pocahontas

This is such a beautifully done scene, I love how the leaves comes to Pocahontas and I love the Hidden Mickey (when Meeko eats cherries the three remaining ones looks like Mickey) in this scene and this scene introduces Pocahontas quite well, but this scene is not as good as the top 3

3. Elsa

Elsa is low on my favorite DP List, but I really love her introduction scene, I love how nervous she is over her coronation and how she practises before that while singing and I love how she looks out of the window in the beginning of the scene, but this scene is not as great as the top 2

2. Ariel

This is such an exciting scene, I love that already here we notice how curious Ariel is and I think that her character is introduced perfectly well in this scene. This is easily out of the scenes in this article the most exciting scene to watch, but it still isn't as great as my number 1

1. Snow White

Like some other scenes in this article this is one of my favorite scenes in the movie, it's not only beautifully drawn, but it's not a boring scene at all and it introduces Snow White perfectly well. And also unlike the other scenes in this article this scene has two songs and I love both of them very much, there also isn't a lot of dialouge in the scene which also makes this scene stand out next to most of the other scenes in this article

Everybody knows that Ariel and Jasmine are probably the most similar pair out of the princesses. They both stand up against their fathers, both are outspoken a bit rebellious, and attractive teenagers , not adults. These two are the few teenage princesses, so their behaviours are more emotionally based than the others. Let's look at their situations

Ariel
Ariel has a slim, kind of curvy figure with long, thick red hair hat falls down to her waist. She is also a bit short, and has big blue eyes. In th beginning of her film, she goes above the sea to collect more human artifacts, unknowingly...

1. Belle
Belle has a really good relationship with her father. They are never shown fighting or arguing. Although the villagers think both are odd, Belle and Maurice are satisfied to have each other.

When Belle sees Philippe coming home without her father, she is worried and boldly goes to the dark forest searching her father.

Entering a scary castle, Belle finds her father imprisoned in a cold jail. Then, she declares to take Maurice's place as the prisoner although she will spend her entire life in the gloomy castle with a horrible, monstrous Beast.

Many days pass. Belle and the Beast...

Well, what were our brave heroines and heroes without their friends? They would be forced to provide the comic relief themselves. Not that some of them wouldn’t be able to step up to the challenge (*cough* Flynn* cough*), but as a general rule, it’s the sidekicks who provide the laughter.
Pocahontas is not listed in this category. I considered adding “Percy’s bath”, but since the score is very short, it wouldn’t have been fair.

9. Princess and the Frog: I have my problems with most of the songs of this movie, but “Gonna take you there” might be the worst of all of them....

Don't they look so pretty together? Only one shines out from the rest, however.

My lineups are getting very good responses. Something that, in all honesty, I didn't expect. Since when have I been funny? I usually get a one-liner in there a few times a year, let alone a few times a paragraph.
Yes, I'm biased. Yes, I swear. Yes, I like a joke. They're usually unfunny and stupid, but they're jokes nonetheless so treat them as such.
What's that? I should shut up and start the countdown? Whatever, let's go for it. I have nothing to better to do except wait for a YouTube video to upload anyway.

9) Snow White
"Oh, my animal friends. What am I to do? I have no magic to make myself go through puberty!"
