10. Snow White- Her hair is just soooo boring. It's so short and weird. Her face was beautiful though. It makes me mad cause they could of made her so gorgeous with long hair. I know it was made in the 30's though so that makes it okay.

9. Rapunzel- I know what you are thinking. I'm stupid for putting her so low on the list.. it's just I don't like her hair... It's waaay too long and it looked so unnecessary to have it that way. And then they cut it short and it looks so bad. Why didn't they just cut it to her waist? Then it would be perfect. And much higher on the list.

8. Tiana- Ehh.. I think her hair is pretty boring just like Snow Whites... I guess the curly strings of hair that fall down are pretty cute but it's just way too plain. If she let it down I'm sure it would be so much better. When she's in her waitress uniform her hair looks cuter but still plain.

7. Cinderella- Her hair is similar to mine in real life aha. Not long but not too short. Like medium length.. And she's a blonde girl with blue eyes. Just like me. Anyway, I love Cinderella's hair at the beginning when it's down or when it's in braids. But when she puts her hair up when she's in the blue dress I find her hair ugly.. If they put her hair in a bun like nowadays it would be so cute. I think they should have done that instead.

6. Mulan- I looove her hair. It's so straight and silky looking. I love Asian people's hair cause it's usually always naturally straight like Mulans. I put her hair in the middle of the list because when they cut her hair short... I don't like it when it at all... Or when she's dressed up as geisha and they put her hair up it looks weird to me. But her hair when it's long and down is so beautiful.

5. Belle- Her hair is so pretty. It's not that long but it's still so pretty. I love hows super thick it is. I also love love looove the color. When she puts her hair in a low ponytail with the bow in it it looks so lovely. Her hair when she's in the yellow dress is also gorgeous. It looks the best when it's down though. It's so beautiful and elegant looking.

4. Pocahontas- Her hair is so beautiful. It's long and falls so perfectly in place. It looks so natural and beautiful. It's also super thick. It's exotic looking. Her hair is so stunning when it blows in the wind. It looks so realistic. I also love when Meeko braids it in the movie. It looks so cute. Her hair is just so beautiful and flowing.

3. Jasmine- Her hair is so so beautiful. It's thick and exotic looking. I love the way it curls so perfectly at the end of it and how it's so silky looking. When her hair is up in a ponytail I just love it soo much. And the way she has it through most the movie is also gorgeous. I love her hair in the scene where she's brushing it in the mirror. It's so gorgeous.

2. Aurora- Her hair is so gorgeous. The way it bounces and how luscious it is. It's so wavy and beautiful. I love the color and it looks so good with her velvet eyes. Her bangs are also so cute. It's super long and thick. It looks so elegant and beautiful. When she spins around in some of the scenes it bounces around perfectly.

1. Ariel- I don't know where to start. Her hair is so perfect. It's super thick. Like really thick and when she's swimming in the sea it looks so real and stunning. The color of her hair is perfect. I really can't find one flaw in her hair. It looks so healthy and thick and beautiful. It's super long and gorgeous. I swear her hair is perfection. I wish I could have it.

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong or effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fire is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking forward to watching this a little more than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cinderella I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since the...

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking forward to watching this one.

Tonight's rewatch: Cinderella II: Dreams Come True
Last time watched: 2002

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the article for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made comments about how I don't like this movie because it's been said that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also said I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now you should all know what I write about in these articles so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas
Last time watched: Summer of 2011

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as you can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field day with it. Personally, the more research I did on the situation around this film, the more I was actually fascinated by it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot more nuanced than you think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, you can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending or critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of Fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...

Cinderella Castle and Wishing Well

I've written many posts about the various attractions in Disney theme parks based around the films I've been watching. Some have been prominent rides such as Snow White's Scary Adventure or Pinocchio's Daring Journey. Others have been obscure areas such as the Fantasia golfing attraction or ephemeral like Bambi's presence in the parks. Some have merely been meet and greets.

Cinderella, however, is a film whose impact on Disney theme parks is huge. It forms, after all, the centre-piece of Disney World itself - Cinderella's Castle; a massive structure visible...
