I wrote my original getting to know me article in June, so I think it's a good time to write a new one. I decided that even if I do get my vampiras account back, it would be foolish to switch to that one now since I have a lot of fans and a medal on this one.

Name: Astrid Marilyn Valiant
Age: 16, sophomore

Other Personal Info: I live in small-town Delaware, the most boring place in the universe. Most of the people here are pretty conservative, and I'm a pansexual Goth girl that likes Disney Princesses, so as you can imagine I don't really get along with a lot of people here. I'm also a manic depressive, but I'd rather not talk too much about that. On a happier note, I'm really into archery and fencing. I'm the best archer in my class. :) I'm quite artistic, I love to draw and paint and I also enjoy reading. Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King are my favorites. I'm obsessed with the macabre and horror films, the classics like Dracula with Bela Lugosi and Frankenstein are my favorites. I also really love Tim Burton and his movies, he's my hero. I'm also obsessed with Doctor Who!

Favorite Bands/Artists: Oingo Boingo (favorite!), The Cure, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smashing Pumpkins, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy, Alien Sex Fiend, The Beatles, David Bowie, etc.
