Hey everyone! So I made one of these a couple of months ago...perhaps five I want to say, and thought that maybe I should make an updated one! So many new users have joined since then, and I thought it would be nice to have you guys get to know me more, so without further ado!

Where do you live, where do you hope to live, and how old are you? I live in Northern Virginia in a somewhat small town about 45 minutes northwest of Washington D.C. Hopefully when I'm older I hope to move to Norway because I'm OBSESSED with the language, culture, and beauty of the country! As of now I'm learning Norwegian by myself at home mostly by listening to Disney songs, and my goal is to be fluent by the time I get out of high school, which will be around three and a half more years, as I am fourteen now.

When's your birthday and what do you hope to do when you're older? My birthday is July 2nd, 1999. I've always loved having a July birthday because it's about halfway between Christmas, so I have something to look forward to both times of the year. When I'm older, I'd love to be an animator for Disney, be an author, an artist, or anything involving writing/drawing basically. It's kind of annoying though because my parents think I'm going to follow in my brother's footsteps of being a super smart engineer (he graduated with like, the second highest GPA in the school) which makes it a lot of pressure on me.

What are your favorite classes in school? My all time favorite class is math, especially Algebra! I've always loved math for some reason and found it extremely easy. I'm an extreme perfectionist when it comes to school, anything less than perfect bugs me. Because of that, I have major stress all the time and it doesn't help that I spend all my time on here instead of studying..heh. I also love Art, because the class is a great class to just unwind in and let my creativity flow, and German. German is what inspired me to learn Norwegian, as the languages are loosely similar.

What are some of your interests outside of Disney and the Disney Princesses? I love to read! Some favorite books of mine include the Mara Dyer trilogy, anything by Rick Riordan, the Harry Potter series of course, as well as countless others. I also love anime. I just discovered anime this year for the first time, and some of my favorites are AnoHana, WataMote, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Attack on Titan, Yowamushi Pedal, Hetalia, and more! A few other interests include Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, andddd that's about it! Oh, I love to write as well! This year I wrote my first ever novel, 50,000 words, and it was a big accomplishment. I'm hoping this year to advance my writing even more. Writing articles on here has been a big help, and I just love talking to you guys! The last thing about me is I'm a Christian. God is very important to me and I'd like to grow in my relationship with Him this year as well. Oh and music as well! I can't believe I forgot! Some favorite artists of mine include The Lumineers, The Neighborhood, Vampire Weekend, Grouplove, and Disney songs of course!

Favorite Disney Movies and Female Characters? Tarzan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, which I just watched for the first time recently and LOVED, Hercules, Pocahontas, The Princess and the Frog, Wreck It Ralph, Winnie the Pooh, and Alice In Wonderland to name a few. I love every single Disney movie though, and hope to have completed all 50 of them by the end of this year! Some favorite characters of mine include Jane, from Tarzan, Meg, from Hercules, Aurora, from Sleeping Beauty, Anna and Elsa, from Frozen, Snow White, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Alice, from Alice In Wonderland, and Giselle, from Enchanted. I love all the princesses though, and think the heroines are all great characters as well!

Well, I think that concludes! Hopefully this was somewhat interesting, despite it being a bit wordy. Anyway thanks for reading everyone and I hope you all got to know me better!
My favorite princess. Isn't she just so charming in this picture? ;)

Hello Disney Princess Fans!

First let me apologize for being so bit late getting the article up this time, and explain what happened. Along with the business of the holiday season there was a family emergency. In mid-January my Dad came down with Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized for over a week. Fortunately he's back home and doing better now. But as you can imagine I didn't feel much like writing, nor did I have the time while that was going on.

Anyway, before we get started let me give you a brief run down of the Meet the DP Fans articles, in case you happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar...

1. Congrats on being Fan of the Month! How does it feel?
Thank you!! I am very honored and I feel very excited because this is the first time I'm Fan of the Month.

2. How did you find this spot and what made you stay?
I'm a big fan of anime, I remember watching “Fushigi Yuugi” at that time. I was obsessed with Tasuki. I still like him (but I don't get obsessed anymore, LOL). Anyway, I was looking for pictures and screenshots of him. That's how I found Fanpop. My reasons for staying? Because I like to participate in activities (polls, quizzes, answers), I made good friends, I love sharing...

Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see Mulan getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother...

What I love the most about Mulan is she's someone who was trained for battle but instead of depending on weapons to win the war, she uses strategy. It shows that you don't always have to rely on brute strength or weapons to win, you can use your own brain. It really bums me out that people forget that about Mulan and just remember her for learning how to fight. -BB2010

I love her bravery, perseverance and how she's willing to disguise as a man and go off to war to save her father. -LMH5113

I love Mulan's love for her family. She loved her family so much that she would risk her own life to save...

On the Ninth Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Nine Ships are sailing

eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

If you ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this month - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage Day which would have most likely...

Five cursed friends,

In case you haven't noticed yet, when I put this calendar together, my goal was to make it as international as possible..meaning, it wasn't supposed to feature the holidays of a specific country, it was supposed to feature holidays which are as widely as possible celebrated, or at least well-known. I also tried to find holidays which could be in some way be related to a princess. Hence I picked Rapunzel for May.

As you can see, I...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 or 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the year after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the question is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Anastasia and Dmitri
Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last article that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both Anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like Anastasia became Cinderella because she was like the lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet by Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The music box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

Something I've often said in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain or just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...
