The Most Elegant Disney Princesses

I really like elegance, so I decided to make a list of the most elegant princesses. Turns out less than half of the princesses are really elegant. Keep in mind that I didn't just rank them based on how they act, but also on how they look and my first impressions. Also just because someone's royal, it doesn't mean they are elegant. (like Prince Harry) I apologize in advance if this article is poorly written.

13) Rapunzel

When I first saw Rapunzel, I didn't think she was elegant at all and when I saw Tangled, turns out I was right. She doesn't act or look elegant, even with that beautiful hair. Rapunzel is more cute and childish. She also seems to act childish too. She uses her hair as a weapon and to play around with more than for beauty purposes. (Not that there's anything wrong with that). Rapunzel is petite, has a huge head, huge eyes, the body development of a 14 year old, and barefoot which aren't elegant traits. Also Mother Gothel and the queen are more elegant than Rapunzel.

12) Ariel

Ariel is another princess who I don't find elegant by any means. The reason that she's higher than Rapunzel is because she doesn't look childish and she looks more proper in the sequel. However, Ariel can act very uncivilized and very immature. Also there's the fact that she's nearly naked throughout a good portion of the movie and even with those fancy dresses, she does not look elegant. Just like Punz, she's more cute than graceful. She looks pretty short too.

11) Anna

When I first saw early artworks of Anna, I never thought she was elegant, but I didn't expect her to be very awkward, crazy, and klutzy. She also looks pretty tall. (My estimated height is 5'7 and Scandinavians are tall people) As we see more of Anna in the trailer, we get to see that she's not elegant at all! She's not very proper. She's very energetic and a real klutz, even her posture is a little akward. The way she wakes up is really graceful too Haha you've got to love her.

10) Jasmine

I've never had an impression that Jasmine was elegant either. She looks really short, has a huge head, and really big eyes. She doesn't seem really graceful. I cant say she's entirely inelegant because she has her moments and she could be somewhat elegant if her design was different.

9) Merida

I know some of you might be thinking, "Merida? Really? More elegant than Jasmine?" Well she certainly doesn't act elegant with her whiny attitude and immaturity and she has a big head and babyish face. However she does look lady like in her light blue dress and when I first saw her, I thought she had a little bit of elegance her, but turns out she really isn't. She also can't compare to Elinor, who is more elegant than Merida will ever be.

8) Mulan

I'm not saying that Mulan is elegant because she's really not, but she did look elegant for once when she was dressed as a bride for the matchmaker, so that gives her more points. She acts more mature, but she is kind of awkward and she doesn't look elegant when she's wearing anything else. She doesn't have any elegant features either.

7) Tiana

I wouldn't say she's elegant, but she's not inelegant either. She really smart and mature, but kind of clumsy. (It's possible to be clumsy and elegant, but not it doesn't work with Tiana) She does look pretty elegant with the light blue dress and she's not any less elegant than Charlotte.

6) Snow White

Snow White is semi elegant. For a 14, year old, she is pretty elegant, considering that teens aren't usually elegant. She looks like a porcelain doll which gives her more points and like the magic mirror said, rags don't hide her grace. There's also the fact that she doesn't really look short, but she still acts and looks childish and the evil queen is more elegant than Snow White.

5) Belle

For the most part, I can say that Belle is elegant. She's the most elegant person in her movie and she was very elegant in the ballroom scene. She still looked pretty elegant with other outfits and she behaves properly for the most part

4) Pocahontas

You don't have to wear fancy clothes to be elegant. I always thought Pocahontas was very elegant. How many Disney Princesses can you say still look elegant with what she's wearing. Pocahontas is a statuesque woman and has a very womanly design. The way she speaks is pretty elegant too.

3) Cinderella

Cinderella is mature and sophisticated. She's also very elegant. She even looks graceful with rags and she's definitely more elegant than her step sisters will ever be. Cinderella may not be born royal, but certainly acts like it.

2) Elsa

When I first saw Elsa, I knew she was going to be very elegant, and turns out she is. She's even more elegant than her mom and Anna (obviously). Elsa has a elegant design too and she's tall too, which considered an elegant feature (I'm not saying being tall automatically makes you elegant.) She was even elegant as a little girl. She uses her ice powers in an elegant way and she acts very proper too, despite being considered a "monster" and "dangerous" to most people in Arensdelle. She's a queen on top of that too. Elsa does however have a little bit of a wild side.

1) Aurora

Whether you like Aurora or not, you can't deny that she's elegant. It's hard to believe she's only sixteen! She looks very mature, regal, and womanly. Eveything Aurora does is elegant. We've never even seen Aurora do anything that was inelegant.

Stay tuned for the princes!

Even though Anna isn't my favorite DP I still love her very much

I love how funny, awkward and clumsy, but how she despite that is very social, not only for those reasons, but she's been kept away from other people for many years and yet even though she's awkward she's not afraid to talk to people

I love how optimistic she is, despite being lonely for many years she's still so happy in pretty much every scene she's in...

I haven't seen The Little Mermaid in months, so please excuse me if this article isn't very good. I've just started to see a lot of traits of Ariel that I didn't see in the past and wanted to write about what made me change my mind on her. If you didn't know, for a really long time Ariel has been my least favorite princess, but she's jumped all the say to 7th(ish)! Err so I hope you guys enjoy!! Sorry for not having any pictures..

Ariel has grown up in a misguided and, for lack of a better term, racist society where all humans are viewed as monsters. In many ways, Ariel can be viewed as a revolutionary...

I had this thought about which princesses would like to become queens in their own right or Quene Consorts.

The first one is likely Snow White. She's a princess in her own right and is the nearest next-of-kin of both the "First King" and her Step-mother, the Evil Queen. She would also be Queen consort of her husband's subjects if her husband's dad is dead.

Cinderella would mostly likely become Queen consort being the Crown Prince wife.

Aurora would be like Snow above-Queen Regant and Queen consort on her parents' and her husband's dad deaths.

Ariel-she's still called a princess I believe in the...

After reading the advertisement, on the bulletin board, Melody took the pen and wrote down her name, along with her homeroom number (RM 13) and home phone number. As she was finishing writing down her phone number, a small boy about her age came up next to her.

"Is there still time for me to sign up?" he asked Melody. She turned to the boy. He had mousy black hair, with chocolate eyes, tanned skin, and dressed up in jeans...
