I had my list perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I love both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. My list could still change again after I think about it even more, but for now here it is.
13. Snow White
Well she dropped back to last again after moving up an impressive two places. (She's always been low on my list.) She just kind of annoys me with her high pitched voice and I've just never been drawn to her like the other princesses. I really don't like her hair either.

12. Tiana
She's went from dead last to next to last. I find her boring, too realistic and too serious. I love watching fairy tales as more of an escape from the problems of my everyday life and she's just to close to real life for my liking. I like that she's dedicated and has a goal that she's working towards but she just doesn't captivate me.

11. Pocahontas
I admire Pocahontas for her respect for nature and I like her playful, free spirited personality, but that's really it. I just don't like her as much as those above her on this list.

10. Cinderella
So I still have the same bottom four, though the order has swapped a bit. Cinderella is kind, optimistic and I do like her. I feel for her situation with her stepmother and stepsisters and how horribly they treat her. I like how she holds her head up high and how she even does make sarcastic remarks to herself and assertively reminds her stepmother she must go to the ball as well.

9. Merida
I like Merida. She is bold, adventurous and I don't blame her for not wanting to be forced into marriage. I know I wouldn't want to either. I relate to the fact that she feels her mother won't accept her for who she is, and instead tries to mold her to meet her expectations. I like that she enjoys the outdoors and can shoot a bow and arrow so skillfully. She still isn't as awesome as the next eight though.

8. Mulan
I really admire Mulan for her courage and bravery in taking her father's place in the army, that would really take guts. I love how she uses her brain and determination to reach the arrow and come up with a plan to defeat Shan Yu. I love that even when everyone else laughs at her for being weaker she doesn't give up, she keeps pushing herself. The fact that she doesn't fit her society's model of a perfect bride or daughter makes her more likeable. She is awesome.

7. Belle
This is wear it gets incredibly hard to place them because from this spot up are my absolute favorites. Belle was my childhood favorite and I feel bad for putting her here but someone has to be in this spot. I love her personality and how she is so complex. She's stubborn, adventurous, intelligent, kind, compassionate, and is able to see past the Beast's exterior and see that he has a heart of gold. I love that she isn't satisfied with settling down with Gaston in the village and laughs at his offer of marriage when everyone else swoons over him. She's awesome and I still love her.

6. Rapunzel
I love her creativity, her fun bubbly personality and I find it hilarious when she's all bipolar when she leaves her tower. I admire her for using a frying pan as a weapon and showing she's a force to be reckoned with. The moment when she ties up Flynn with her hair is genius. I love it when she stands up to Mother Gothel and sacrifices her freedom to save Flynn's life. She is just so awesome.

5. Anna
I love Anna! She is so fun to watch. The way she's so awkward and clumsy and how she randomly bursts into song is so entertaining. She has a great sense of humor and she isn't afraid to speak her mind. I admire her courage and determination in searching for Elsa. She's so full of energy, love and wonder. She is a bit to spontaneous at times though which leads to trouble.

4. Ariel
I love Ariel's adventurous, bubbly, rebellious personality. She's brave and determined to get what she wants and she doesn't give up easily. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself and what she believes in. She is misunderstood and I can relate to that. I love that she is a red-head like me as well.

3. Aurora
I don't find Aurora boring as many people do. It is not her fault she had a curse put on her and stays asleep for most of the movie. I like her dreamy, sweet, demure personality. She shows its okay to be more passive and not so bold and outspoken. I wish I bold like so many of the princesses but I am really more like Aurora. I don't like confrontation and I have always been a romantic person dreaming of finding true love. I don't see why people think that wanting to find love is such a bad thing. Aurora shows she is selfless when she accepts her duty as a princess and returns to her kingdom to marry her betrothed , who she has no idea is the man she met in the forest.

2. Elsa
I absolutely love Elsa. She is amazing. I love how she tells Anna she can't marry someone she just met. This shows she is the sensible, responsible sister. She has such an interesting personality and is truly unique from the other princesses. She starts off reserved and poised and later opens up and becomes a more loving, open person. I love her song, "Let it Go" and it is my favorite song from Frozen. I find it noble of her to lock herself away so she can't hurt anyone. The moment when she hugs Anna's frozen form is so touching.

1. Jasmine
Jasmine is still my favorite. She's fiery, opinionated, adventurous and loving. I love that she doesn't let anyone tell her what to do and refuses to marry someone she doesn't love. She's smart, compassionate and rebellious. She also has a gentle side and I wish we did see that side more. She wants more than just to sit around and be pampered in the palace her whole life and takes charge of her own future. I love that she sees right through Aladdin's Prince Ali act and I love Jasmine's disgusted reaction when she sees him ride through the market place with the parade.

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I love you all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our favorite story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the Disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.

I was in a mood to do a ranking list, so I thought I should make a list of my top 10 scenes from DP movies. So, here we go.

10. Cinderella - waking up
Have you ever seen anyone waking up so gorgeous. Her elegance is to die for. She's looking adorable and elegant all at once, with her piggytails. I love how she flips over and puts pillow overhead, not wanting to wake up from the dream. And isn't she cute, not telling the dream to the birdie friends. I like how she was so much in the moment, holding a pillow. And then, old killjoy strikes, haha! I love how she gave us a peak into her other side,...

First of all ignorant Ariel haters are advised not to read this because I am being brutally honest and not holding back. For those who say I'm being harsh they show no respect for Ariel's fans and treat her like she's some kind of heartless monster so I don't owe them one bit of respect and will not show them any because they don't deserve it. Also I will not be doing the cliche of comparing Ariel to Merida, I've already done that in my Ariel vs Merida article. Besides, people do that enough already and I can't stand this war between them, it's really annoying. However I will be comparing her...
