The faces you've probably been making throughout my entire countdown...
The faces you've probably been making throughout my entire countdown...
OMG, this is THE most useless, boring and tacky countdown ever done on Fanpop. But I'm still finishing this because I spent a lot of time doing it. Anyway, this is the result of my Best Disney Princess Outfit Countdown. What I did was I first did polls to find the best 2 outfits from each DP. Then, I put them all together and did elimination. Since there were only 22 outfits at the start of the elimination rounds, I am only putting the places 22-1 in this countdown.

#22- Cinderella's Servant Outfit
Now, I was surprised this went so soon. I thought that people would get rid of some other dresses like Snow White's or Merida's or something, but apparently, I was wrong. I'm not too fond of this dress myself, but I didn't think it should go so soon.

Comments:

"This is so meh." -randarful

"I don't know, I have a thing for servant dresses- I love Snow White's, too" -rhythmicmagic

#21- Pocahontas' Forest Dress without Necklace
This was the outfit I personally thought should've been #22, but it doesn't really matter since I think the dress is really prety, but without the necklace it's a little too plain.

Comments:

"I think the dress is better without the necklace."
-BelleAnastasia

"This outfit is too bland and simple without the necklace." -AprilGhost

#20- Merida's Dark Blue Dress With Cloak
There is some debate whether this is a green or bue dress, but I'm just going with blue because that's what I think it is. I really didn't see this coming either, I thought this was a nice dress even though I didn't really like Merida, but the other people didn't seem to think so.

Comments:

"ehhh" -dclairmont

"I love cloaks! Even though this dress is really simple, I think it suits Merida very nicely! The color and the neckline are pretty too!"
-randarful

#19- Merida's Dark Blue Dress
Both of Merida's dresses got eliminated back-to-back, I guess Fanpop really hates her dresses. Anyway, like I said, this could be either a green or blue dress. But I personally think it's blue.

Comments:

"I love this dress it's so simple but pretty!"
-MaidofOrleans

"Just Go" -princecatcher93

#18- Belle's Blue and White Dress
I didn't think this would go so soon, considering the amount of positive comments it had gotten. I'm okay in general with this dress, it suits Belle a lot.

Comments:

"As I said before, there's nothing special about it. " -MissAngelPaws

"I love this dress." -anonheart998

#17- Ariel's Blue Dress
I really think that gigantic bow in her hair messed up the dress. The dress looks too small for Ariel after you see that huge bow. But it is still a nice dress, minus that huge bow.

Comments:

"It's too plain" -Beastlysoul25

"Amazing color and style and I love how the skirt flows! Not to mention, the hairstyle is really cute. I don't mind the bow." -shanyuisboss

#16- Jasmine's Red Slave Outfit
This outfit is nice, and the colour suits Jasmine better, but somehow it doesn't look quite right on Jasmine IMO.

Comments:

"Too skimpy, even if the color suits her more than aqua." -AudreyFreak

"This one is the best! Sexy and hot! No sleeves either. XD" -LightningRed

#15- Rapunzel's Purple Dress
Throughout the movie, this dress did look very uncomfortable, but I would've thought it could make it really close to the top 10.

Comments:

"One word: MARKETING. They purposely made it look like a costume! It's pretty but yes, it does look just like a polyester children's costume. the color suits her but... eh. it's also weirdly small. if she sews, knows how to make dresses and has all the time in the world you'd think she'd have made herself one to fit her."
-AudreyFreak

"Her outfits are kind of bland, but this one looks nice" -Jayden-G

#14- Ariel's Blue Sparkly Dress
This is my personal favourite Ariel outfit, but the first moments it looks stunning, after a while it just loses its beauty. Still my fave Ariel outfit though.

Comments:

"OVERRATED" -rapunzelflynn33

"It's gorgeous" -KataraLover

#13- Rapunzel's Pink and Purple Dress
Who shall stand on the position of the unlucky number but Rapunzel's princess dress. I'm kidding, I'm not superstitious but I was surprised that it didn't make it into the top 10. But I wasn't really THAT surprised, because it really isn't super-pretty anyway. It was a lot better than her normal dress, though.

Comments:

"This is pretty, but it isn't very unique and the color is a tad plain." -MalloMar

"Very pretty dress <3" -sweetie-94

#12- Jasmine's Purple End Outfit
I wish she wore this one more, it looked gorgeous on her, but because of the lack of screen time, I almost forgot about it.

Comments:

"Jasmine's clothes are nice, but I'm not wild about this outfit. I do like the see through part, though." -MalloMar

"This is the only one i really like." -starlight77

#11- Snow White's Blue and Gold dress with Cape
I didn't think this one should've been eliminated before the one without the cape, but I was glad it didn't go any farther.

Comments:

"bleh." -dclairmont

"I love this dress!" -Maplefrost

~Top Ten~

#10- Snow White's Blue and Gold Dress
I've really nothing to say, but lots of people didn't like it because it was too childish, the colours were bad, the sleeves were weird, etc. Like Merida, Snow White's dresses were eliminated back-to-back and yeah....

Comments:

"Colours don't really go, and I have always hated that collar thing" -Flutey_Girl96

"So pretty and classic!" -MalloMar

#9- Pocahontas' Forest Dress
I thought this was a very nice dress but it is kinda plain.... the necklace makes all the difference, too.

Comments:

"Nice one shoulder cut, but otherwise plain."
-Popcornfan

"The necklace seriously makes all the difference"
-rhythmicmagic

#8- Mulan's Blue and Navy Dress
Yes, this dress suits Mulan a LOT better than her matchmaker one, yet it gets eliminated first. Honestly, I like Mulan's matchmaker dress better than this dress, but if we're talking which one suits Mulan better, I'd choose this in a heartbeat.

Comments:

"I prefer her pink dress" -Popcornfan

"It suits her perfectly." -KataraLover

#7- Mulan's Matchmaker Dress
As said before, this dress is very pretty, but does it suit Mulan? Errrrr, no....

Comments:

"It looks very beautiful on her." -MissAngelPaws

"This dress just doesn't work on her. There's even an entire song about how it doesn't represent her personality." -MaidofOrleans

#6- Belle's Gold Ballgown
This is no doubt my favourite DP outfit. Most of the people don't agree, saying it's too overrated, too big, it's like a cake, etc. And all of that is true, but it's still my favourite for some reason.

Comments:

"So overrated." -princecatcher93

"Stunning!" -LightningRed

#5- Aurora's Blue Gown
This is a gorgeous dress, but after a while it starts to look a little... plain? I don't know, but I personally think pink suits her better.

Comments:

"I don't know about, next the other others...is sucks." -princecatcher93

"Aurora's blue ballgown is the best DP ballgown!"
-rhytmicmagic

#4-Aurora's Peasant Dress
I have no comments about this dress, so don't judge me. I don't dislike it, but I'm not extremely fond of it either. I think it got a fair place on this list. Though some feel it should be even higher.

Comments:

"I've always liked this dress." -AprilGhost

"Now this dress, this is ugly." -Beastlysoul25

#3- Tiana's Green Wedding Dress
I never really understood why they franchised her in this dress and not the blue one. That dress is so much better. But nevertheless, this dress is pretty but way, too, big. But it's more interesting than that of Cindy's ballgown so I did choose Cindy's dress over this one in terms of which one is worse.

Comments:

"Tiana's dress just looks like a ball of lettuce."
-pookafusmcgee

"So beautifully GORGEOUS! I also love her white wedding dress and white dream dress. :D Tiana's outfits are all nice though." -LightningRed

#2- Cinderella's Silver Ballgown
Probably the most iconic outfit in Disney history, male or female. Not to mension the transformation into this dress was Walt Disney's favourite scene. It did deserve a ver high placement, but I did like the #1 more.

Comments:

"As I said before, the color and sparkles are gorgeous, the poofy things not so much."
-MaidofOrleans

"My favorite Disney outfit!" -LibelluleBleu

#1- Tiana's Borrowed Blue Dress
I really didn't expect this to win, but I was glad it did. It's nice to see that Tiana finally gets some recognition. Of course, some felt that this dress wasn't as good as Cinderella's and the most iconic Disneyoutfit has OUGHT to win, but in the end, well, I gues this dress just gets more love.

Comments:

"This one is so beautiful <3" -sweetie-94

"I don't like the bow on the bottom" -starlight77

Hello everyone! Sorry the article is so late getting up this year. I was busy with the holidays, then work and then I got sick. It just seemed like one thing after another kept coming up. So again, I apologize, and at least it's up now.

Anyway, before we get started let me give you a brief run down of the Meet the DP Fans articles, in case you happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar with them. These articles have been done in past by a few other users to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Now, obviously, there are many other members in this club, besides the ones listed...

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun tabletop roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend you give it a try if you ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

" Punz, have you ever wondered why I don't cut your hair?"
Disney's "Tangled" was such a good movie that Tangled had great characters. Of course, my favorite was Rapunzel, but I also loved mother Gothel. It's weird that I don't like mother Gothel. Because I hated every bad guy except Audrey and Hades. Audrey and Hades had points that sounded similar and logical to me. For example, Audrey was stabbed in the back and Hades was wronged, and it was funny, so I loved them both.

I've watched Tangled about seven times, and it's only the seventh time I've come to love mother Gothel. After all, Gothel was separating Rapunzel from her family, using her, and raising...

I posted a poll two weeks ago, and the poll was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that you may be surprised. However, I watched the two movies back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.

2- Both do their evil by using someone else, Scar is the hyenas, and Facilier is his friends on the other side.

3- Both of them died by their sidekicks. Scar was killed by hyenas,...

Look, she is pretty!
Look, she is pretty!
I analyzed Charlotte in my last article, and from now on I will analyze young princesses whose value has been forgotten. Today I, elsafan1010, will share with you the Megara analysis.

Characteristics
One of the things that makes Megara different from other princesses is that she is "cool". Yes, being a slave doesn't make you cool, but once you see Megara's look, it may be hard to believe that she's working for someone else. Megara is self-confident and does not trust love. Because Megara previously had problems with love life and she thinks others will break her too. Megara doesn't want any help...

Ariel blonde, so pretty! Prettier then Belle and Aurora!
Ariel blonde, so pretty! Prettier then Belle and Aurora!
My last article was about the eye colors of Disney princesses, but today I'm focusing on the hair. Ariel has red hair that no princess has ever had. Red hair looks great on Ariel, but blonde hair... It suits her better than red hair. Blonde hair pairs perfectly with her light blue eyes. Straw yellow color is the best! Here are some gifs that prove it now.
This time with black eyes but still amazingly beautiful

Mulan is considered a Disney princess and I find that ridiculous because if Mulan is a Disney princess why not Elsa and Anna? Mulan has the characteristics of a hero and a princess, but there is a reason that prevents her from being a princess.
Although she is friends with an emperor, that does not make her a princess. Either she would be a royal by birth, or she would marry a prince and earn the title of princess. Being a hero doesn't make a princess, does it? This is really silly. There are a lot of other female characters at Disney who do great heroics, but they're not even one step closer to being princesses. What a great injustice. What a pity. While I love Mulan, Mulan is overrated.
I believe in love at first sight, but it sounds ridiculous and isn't exactly love. Love at first sight often happens with classic princesses:
1- Snow White
2- Cinderella
3- Ariel

These princesses fall in love the first time they see it, but that's ridiculous because you can't fall in love with someone you've just seen. Actually, that might be it, but it just depends on the prince being handsome. Snow White fell in love with her prince the moment she saw him, and that was just for the prince's appearance. That's why I don't like love at first sight in DP movies.

In Frozen, one of my favorite Disney...

So...I begin this by saying that I am an adult fan of Ariel. Impacted by The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend author Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out favorite moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization given to him by the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't love Ariel's original...

The reason I wrote this article is because people always talk about classic disney princesses and forget about live action princesses. My favorite live-action princesses are Audrey and Mal. Yes, no matter how bad Audrey is, she will always be my favorite villain.

Audrey is Aurora's daughter. I saw a poll last night. The question in the poll was:
Do you like Audrey more or Aurora?
I chose Aurora because Aurora was a good person. But now I realize how wrong I was. Aurora is so boring, all she does is cry and wake up with graceful gestures and kisses. However, Audrey has feelings. Don't get me wrong, I still love Aurora but Audrey isn't boring so I want to pick both.

Audrey has always been a smug person. She is a bad person. It was because She was heartbroken, it touched me. Audrey just wanted to be a queen like her mother and make her happy, but she chose evil when she couldn't achieve her goal.

I love both very much. Audrey and Aurora are both great. Both are beautiful.

Here is an article I wrote expressing my opinions on the 3D animated Disney Princesses and how they are in their featured films of Tangled, Brave, Frozen, and Moana. Since Raya and the Last Dragon is coming out on Saturday, I'll try to do an article on her too to see if she's another one of our favorite badass heroines? Or just a damsel in distress waiting to be saved. But anyway, let's get down to brass tacks, shall we?

5. Rapunzel

When I was little and the first trailer for Tangled was advertising showing another badass heroine who can fight and somewhat heal people's wounds and injuries with...
