I know lots of people have done this, and I've been wanting to do it for a while. Comment with your thoughts! Please no flaming my choices. :)

11. Rapunzel – A flower.
Last place? But I'm the only princess with a frying pan!
Last place? But I'm the only princess with a frying pan!

Rapunzel is last on my list because she is just a bit too ditzy for my taste. The thing that really annoys me about her, though, is the extremely modern fashion in which she acts and speaks. (She uses the word “like” as a placeholder at least once during the movie.) Because of this, I could never really take her character seriously; I didn’t think it fit the context of the story at all. I’m also not a fan of her singing voice. I prefer the more classical style, and I thought she was too poppy. I am very glad that she acts on her dream though. I applaud her for that. Plus, she has magical glowing hair! OMG!

10. Snow White – The fairest of them all.
Well, at least I'm not last place!
Well, at least I'm not last place!

It kills me to put Snow White this low on my list. I have a soft spot in my heart for her because she’s the one who started it all. I really don’t understand why so many people dislike her. She’s so adorable and she’s the one who handles being separated from her prince the best. She doesn’t spend every second whining about how she’s never going to see him again. The only reason she isn’t higher on my list is because she doesn’t act on her dream at all. However, I think she’s really cute and well worthy of the title “Fairest of them all”. Many people hate on her singing voice, but I think it is very unique and beautiful. If you listen closely, you can hear the amazing amount of control she has. She’s a truly amazing singer.

9. Pocahontas – She comes with courage and understanding.
Eh who cares what place I get? Imma go be awesome and paint with the wind.
Eh who cares what place I get? Imma go be awesome and paint with the wind.

The only reason Pocahontas ranks so low on my list is because her story is so historically inaccurate. She was actually 12 when the British arrived, and John Smith was in his 20s or 30s. She never fell in love with him. The entire story is made up, and I find it insulting that Disney called it Pocahontas’s story. I would have loved it if they had named the characters differently and called it a fairytale, as it is. Also, the way she learns to speak to John Smith really gets on my nerves. I think she’s absolutely gorgeous, though, and her singing voice is one of my favorites. The fact that she chooses to stay with her tribe rather than go with her love shows what I believe to be immense strength and courage, which I greatly admire.

8. Cinderella – As lovely as her name.
It doesn't matter what you think because I have a fairy godmother who gives me pretty dresses!
It doesn't matter what you think because I have a fairy godmother who gives me pretty dresses!

For a very long time, Cinderella was last on my list – mainly because I hadn’t seen the movie in quite some time and I had forgotten some very essential details. I love her sass and the way she stands up for herself against her stepmother and stepsisters, and I greatly admire how she never loses hope. I also like how she isn’t perfect – at one point she criticizes Bruno for something that was actually Lucifer’s fault. This makes her more relatable. Her singing voice is absolutely beautiful, and I think her story is classic and romantic. I understand why she is seen as the iconic Disney Princess. The only thing that gets on my nerves about her isn’t about her personality, it’s her dress. In all the merchandise she’s depicted as wearing a blue dress, but when you watch the movie you can clearly see that it’s silver and all sparkly. It’s gorgeous! Why Disney decided to change it I’ll never understand.

7. Jasmine – A beautiful desert bloom.
I am not an item to be ranked!!
I am not an item to be ranked!!

Jasmine is seventh on my list because, though she isn’t afraid to speak her mind, she doesn’t use her bravery and intelligence to her advantage as well as she could. It has also always annoyed me why she never asked Prince Ali why he wasn’t dead after Jafar said that he had killed him!!! Yeesh, girl, you’re not asking the right questions here! I do really like her sultry, sexy personality that is so different from the other Disney Princesses though, and I’m glad she doesn’t fall in love with Aladdin at first sight. He has to work to win her over! Plus, she has a tiger as a pet. How cool is that?!

6. Aurora – Gold of sunshine in her hair; lips that shame the red, red rose.
Oh goody, I'm not in the bottom half!
Oh goody, I'm not in the bottom half!

Aurora is sixth on my list because I absolutely adore her singing voice (it’s my favorite of all the Disney Princesses), and she wants more independence but is too afraid to ask for it, like me. I’ve also been told that I look like her, because we have similar hair. However, she barely acts on her dream at all, which I find annoying. Some say that she has no personality, but I disagree. From the small amount of time she has on screen, we learn that she is shy, kind, and loves make-believe, all of which I can relate to. The artwork in her movie is also dazzling, and my favorite of all the Disney Princess movies.

5. Ariel – The most beautiful voice in the sea.
Come on... you know deep down I'm still your favorite!
Come on... you know deep down I'm still your favorite!

Ariel is fifth on my list because I love the ocean as well as mermaids, and she was my favorite Disney Princess when I was little – I was obsessed with her. She also has really cool red hair, which I think is awesome. She seems a little bit selfish to me, though, and isn’t very open minded to other’s ideas. I have been told that my singing voice sounds like hers, which I realize is meant to be a complement, but I’m not actually that fond of her voice despite what all the characters in the movie say about its ethereal quality. I feel bad for her because she gets a bad rap for changing herself just to make a man love her. I would like to point out that Ariel always wanted to be human. Eric was just an added bonus, that little extra nudge that she needed in order to actually act on that desire. Though it was a stupid deal that she made, at least she had the courage to pursue her dream.

4. Mulan – The flower that blooms in adversity.
Glad you like me and all, but I've got a country to save. See ya!
Glad you like me and all, but I've got a country to save. See ya!

Mulan is fourth on my list because she proves that women are just as capable as men, saves her father and country, and is also just totally awesome. She disguises herself as a boy and runs off to join the army! How much more epic can you get? I find a little bit of Shakespeare in her story, which is another reason why I love her. I also love the fact that she lives in ancient China. That culture is amazing and I’m glad you get a taste of it through her movie.

3. Merida – Brave.
You mean I made top three??? But I thought everyone hated me!
You mean I made top three??? But I thought everyone hated me!

Merida just barely makes third place on my list. She and Mulan are super close in my mind. A few key things bumped her up. Her hair is completely amazing and just like mine!! (Although mine’s golden brown, not bright red. Think Merida + Aurora + brown.) Her Scottish heritage I find fascinating, and I wish I could shoot a bow like she can. I understand her desire for freedom and adventure because I feel just the same way, though I would not have made the decision to change my mother the way she did. I also really wish she sang, because that’s a central part of the Disney Princesses in my opinion. I am super glad that she didn’t end up with a handsome prince, though. I think it was about time we had a princess who doesn’t fall in love.

2. Tiana – As pretty as a magnolia in May.
Thank you so much! I'm almost never at the top of people's lists!
Thank you so much! I'm almost never at the top of people's lists!

Tiana is second on my list because she knows what she wants and she won’t let anything stop her from achieving her dreams. Her dream itself is the most realistic of any of the Disney Princesses, which I think makes her very unique. I also think she has the best wardrobe of all the Disney Princesses. I am super excited that we finally have an African American princess. Hurray for diversity! I’m really hoping we get more princesses that come from all kinds of cultures from all over the world. I’m also ecstatic that she and Naveen fell in love as frogs. That way you know it’s real love rather than something based off of looks. Her singing is amazing as well, and jazz is one of my favorite styles of music!

1. Belle – It’s no wonder that her name means beauty; her looks have got no parallel.
*Too distracted by the Beast to even notice she won.
*Too distracted by the Beast to even notice she won.

How can I even begin to describe how amazing Belle is? Smart, brave, beautiful, compassionate, curious, playful, the list goes on. The funny thing is, I never gave her much though until my best friend told me that Belle was her favorite Disney Princess. After that, I went back and watched Beauty and the Beast again and realized just how awesome she is. We have so much in common! Like me, she is a bookworm who is always reading fantastical fantasy stories; like me, she has a strong belief in magic; and, like me, her biggest dream is to go on an adventure in distant lands where enchantment and swordfights and kings and queens still live on. I also really love how she is the only Disney Princess who spends any length of time getting to know her prince before falling in love with him. The movie begins in late fall and ends in early spring, so she spent at least three months with Adam before she finally admitted to herself that she was in love with him. That is another thing I have in common with her – I do not like to confess to myself that I am infatuated with someone, even if it is glaringly obvious to everyone else. I’m also glad she isn’t a perfect princess. She makes mistakes and goes back on her word, but she makes things right again in the end. I love that about her. Belle is so easy for me to relate to, and I love her classic, elegant story so much that there really isn’t any way for another Disney Princess to be at the top of my list. Belle is just beautiful.

So that's what I think about the princesses. I have separate (and very different) lists about my favorite DP singers, prettiest DPs, favorite DP movies, and etc. Whether or not I write those articles is up to you guys! Comment your thoughts please. :)

I just wanted to write a list but I remembered that I have already write one with the Prettiest Female Heroines in the Childhood Animated Movie Heroines club (the link is at the comments). I didn't want to write the same things about the same princesses, so I'll mention only the princesses that I don't think they are so beautiful. Let's begin.

Anna
Placement in my Prettiest Disney Princess List: 13th

Sorry Anna! I just don't find her so pretty. I don't like her nose and her lips are too thin. I like her eyes, their color is amazing, but sometimes they look kinda odd, like they're too close...

Here's my countdown of my favorite princesses!

My decisions aren't set in stone- they change every other week! So, this isn't permanent- except for the lucky princess who stole first place! ;)

"I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up."
"I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up."

10. Tiana
I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up. I love her- she has a strong determination, she's smart and she does have a little humour in her. Her loyalty to her father is so sweet, she never gives up on her father's dream :') The movie just goes downhill for me when she turns into a frog, it goes downhill- she loses...

So I did a countdown of who would be most likely to survive in the abusive type of households Snow White and Cinderella had lived in. I must say I'm disappointed more people didn't participate (well, at least 28 people VOTED every round, yet there was usually no more than 7 comments per poll). I would have loved to see more people's input because the whole reason I did this countdown is because I am so sick of people acting like Snow and Cinderella's situations were not all that bad, like they could have just left easily. Anyway, here are the results:

9. Jasmine. Well, to nobody's surprise,...

I know that this is common on this site, but I feel like my Disney Princess ranking is a must. Merida, Anna and Elsa are included, and I don't usually see them being include in these.
To make things clear, there are times where I like every Disney princess. I dislike one, am okay with two, really like four, and absolutely adore six.
I try to balance out my descriptions. I tried to talk about the characters' good qualities because I just hate it when you read rankings that just sound like complaints, but I had to address their flaws as well so that readers could understand my reasoning.
This...

I saw sweetie-94 recently do this and thought it looked fun, so I decided to make an article like this as well. I fully intended to have this be ranked, but it was way too hard, so I just opted out to chronological order. So, yeah let's get started!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: One Song

I love this song a lot! Snow White's Prince has the best voices of all the princes, and the entire scene is very romantic and heart-felt. I love how Snow is all bashful and trying to look good for the prince, and the little kiss they do with the bird at the end.

What is the most thing about a Disney movie? If you answer opening your right if you answer ducks...well maybe next time. All openings from Snow White to Frozen

12: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
I love story book openings and I love reading...but I don't like having to read the movie...it's a little slow to the get go and well my family hates it when someone reads out loud...so it doesn't work for me. Also it takes to long to get to One Song...so I dislike it.

11: Pocahontas
I love Pocahontas it's my fourth Favorite movie...but the beginning is also a little slow...besides my sexy men's voices...

Heeeeeellllllooooooo!!!!! If you are wondering why I am so happy it's because I am finally making an article. Some decision, I know. Anyway, this is my first, so please hang in there, I'm going to try to not give my long rants. You know me, I'm always ranting.
This is my opinion, and I don't hate any DP (well, maybe just aurora, but That's it! Please don't bash me!) *Runs away*
I hope you enjoy

10. Aurora
I am going to try to not bash but it's not going to work so don't keep your hopes high. Anyway, she has NO personality. First of all, people say she is so elegant and graceful. I'm sorry! How...

I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and I realized that I wanted to do this before Merida joined because- well, you’ll see when I explain the structure of this article.
I’ve probably not been the most accurate at my favorite soundtrack on here whenever it’s been discussed because I tend to separate songs and score when I think of soundtrack, so I decided to do this to finally come up with my official list. I’ll rank songs and score separately, and then at the end I’ll average it out and put my list of overall soundtrack. See why I only wanted to include musicals! Oh, I’ll only...

Before I start I want to say that I love ALL the princesses, I just relate to some of them more. I know that you may disagree with my choices, but it's my opinion and you should respect it, like I respect yours. Sorry for any grammar errors, like I said in my previous article, I'm not very good at English, but I'm trying my best... Anyway, enjoy! :)

12) Cinderella
I love how she believes that everything will be alright at the end. She is optimistic and patient, she works hard and she never gives up. I just can't relate to her much, I'm a pessimist and I don't like her romance with Prince Charming,...

Before I start the article, I have to say that this is just my opinion. So if you want to judge me please don't use BAD WORDS. You can kindly write your opinion in the comments.

I've always liked modern princesses more than classic princesses and Renaissance Princesses. My Top Five,

1- Elsa
2- Anna
3- Rapunzel
4- Moana
5- Tiana

As you can see, my top five are moderns. One of the reasons I love moderns is that they adapt to the new generation. Clothing would also be modern, so we don't feel like we're stuck in boring old times. Modern princesses aren't crazy about romance (except for Anna, but even...
