Who will be the most beautiful of all the non-princess?
Who will be the most beautiful of all the non-princess?
I proudly present the results of the polls and comments.

20) Andrina (The Little Mermaid)
The first daughter of Triton to go, although in my opinion she is not the least beautiful. Her short hair and pointed features didn't seem to please fanpop.

-KataraLover: she's ugly and looks like a boy.
-Swanpride: Andrina is by far the plainest of Ariel's sisters.

20.Andrina: The boyish mermaid
20.Andrina: The boyish mermaid

19)Alana (The Little Mermaid)
Blue eyes with dark hair sounds prettier than the result we get in Alana. She easily followed her sister in the countdown.

-BelleAnastasia: She's so plain!

19.Alana: Second mermaid to go
19.Alana: Second mermaid to go

18)Attina (The Little Mermaid)
Her head seemes larger than it is because of her hairstyle. Sticks coming out? She is in the end not so different from the previous mermaids in the countdown.

KataraLover: She's so ugly! She has a weird facial structure, ugly hair, thin lips(even thinner than Ariel's), a weird nose, a stupid smile, and creepy eyes.

18.Attina: doomed by her hair.
18.Attina: doomed by her hair.

17)Adella (The Little Mermaid)
She looks kinda pretty in some shots, and sort of duffy in others.

dimitri_is_hot: I think Aquata and Arista are the only pretty ones of Ariel's sisters.

KataraLover: Just like all of Ariel's sisters she's ugly. She has creepy eyes, ugly hair, a stupid smile, a weird nose, a weird facial structure, and thin lips(thinner than Ariel's)

uploaded900: She's just ugly

17.Adella: pretty in some shots.
17.Adella: pretty in some shots.

16)Aquata (The Little Mermaid)
In my opinion, the most beautiful of Ariel's sisters, I don't think she deserved to be so low in the countdown. Her facial features may not be so different from her sister's, but her hair is the most normal of all. I love the pearls and blue color on her.

SweetPea2007: Ariels sisters do not look as good as some of the women on here...

16.Aquata: The most normal of Ariel's sisters
16.Aquata: The most normal of Ariel's sisters

15)Arista (The Little Mermaid)
All the mermaids were in some cases compared to their versions in the sequel (with negative view for the original movie). In any way, Arista was thought the most beautiful. That nevertheless meant place 15 for her and not higher.

gabbyg27: Ugly.

Mongoose09: I feel bad for picking her because in the third movie she's absolutely BEAUTIFUL and by far prettier than Ariel IMO, but in the first movie.. eh.

15.Arista: the "pretty" mermaid
15.Arista: the "pretty" mermaid

14)Nakoma (Pocahontas)
The only participant of her movie, she got a pretty well place considering her looks had to make the protagonist Pocahontas stand out. In my opinion her jaw is squared and she lacks grace, but I wouldn't call her ugly either.

jainabieber7: I've been voting for her forever. She looks like a man.

LatinoLollipops: At least the bimbettes have pretty faces and body.. Nakoma looks like she has a he/she face on a mans body.

Jayden-G: She is not very attractive. That weird hair, small eyes, and practically invisible nose does not suit her. It suits Pocahontas better.

fiina: I think Nakoma is beautiful.

14.Nakoma: the less beautiful friend
14.Nakoma: the less beautiful friend

13)Aladdin's bimbettes from A friend like me (Aladdin)
The women "created"by Genie are "pure body". They're nothing remarkable, just the presence of women in general that dance or kiss Aladdin. They were questioned as non/characters, but since this was a countdown about looks, these girls who are nothing more than appearences had to be included.

SweetPea2007: generic looking skanks should leave already...all of them...

BraBrief: They are nothing special.

13.Aladdin's bimbettes from a Friend like me. Nothing remarkable.
13.Aladdin's bimbettes from a Friend like me. Nothing remarkable.

12)Aladdin's bimbettes from Agrabah (Aladdin)
I think they look nice, but once you take a closer look, their mouths are caricaturesque, their eyes aren't special at all... they just look like bad animated Jasmines.

princecatcher93: They aren't as pretty as the other women.

AllegroGiocoso: They just look too cartoony in my opinion.

iHyrule: Nothing unique about them.

BraBrief: Harem girls are very hot in my opinion.

12.Aladdin's bimbettes from Agrabah. Second class Jasmines.
12.Aladdin's bimbettes from Agrabah. Second class Jasmines.

11)The blonde bimbettes (Beauty and the Beast)
Blonde french triplets, but that are explicitly less beautiful than the heroine, they didn't make it to the top ten by little. They didn't impress Gaston and they don't seem to impress fanpop so much either. I think they're gorgeous although not the most special of all.

jainabieber7: Skanky bimbettes are not my idea of beautiful.

SweetPea2007: They are pretty and cute and slightly skanky....not Beautiful.

11.The blonde bimbettes don´t win anyone´s heart.
11.The blonde bimbettes don´t win anyone´s heart.

10)Eudora (The Princess and the Frog)
Tiana's mother, even when she belongs to a generation above the princess', is widely thought beautiful. Her age is of little matter when it comes to beauty: she entered the top ten.

BraBrief: Eudora is pretty, but nothing special.

Mongoose09: Just not as elegant/unique as the others.

iHyrule: She's so plain.

Rhythmicmagic: Eudora is beautiful! She looks very natural and has a very kind smile ad kind eyes. Her whole look is very warm and inviting, and she just has the look of a very lovely woman and very graceful. She's the perfect example of aging gracefully.

10.Eudora: graceful though aged.
10.Eudora: graceful though aged.

9)Mother Gothel (Tangled)
Another villain obsessed with beauty and youth. Both change in her thanks to Rapunzel's magical hair. However, her true appearence didn't seem to matter before her young version, which gained her the ninth position. Still, some of her features were not celebrated.

KataraLover: Her eyes are ugly, her cheek bone structure is too bony, high, and spointy, her hair is too frizzy, and her nose is too pointy.

CodyVenusTrent: I hate her hair; it doesn´t even look curly at all. It looks more like her hair has static. As if she touched something electric and gave her a small shock.

jainabieber7: I thought Mother Gothel was beautiful when I first watched Tangled. I just watched it today and I realized how strange and pointy her features are. Also, her hair isn't a pretty curly like Aurora's...it's big and ugly.

9. Mother Gothel. Her changes of apparence made no difference.
9. Mother Gothel. Her changes of apparence made no difference.

8)Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Not the fairest of the countdown, but still pretty high. Her austere expression and the fact that we can't see her hair (except in the scary transformation scene) were nothing in comparison to the rest of her features. But this queen would have another seven to get rid of before winning the most beautiful award.

CodyVenusTrent: That frown on her face makes her look terrible. If she didn´t have made that kind of faces she would be a pretty. Her eyes and mouth look weird. She also has too much make up.

BraBrief: Why people are picking Evil Queen or Maleficent? Just because they are bad? It's true, but they are beautiful, especially Evil Queen, she deserves to be in the top 5!

8.Evil Queen. Has yet to kill seven.
8.Evil Queen. Has yet to kill seven.

7)Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
The opinions on her were divided. Some thought her elegant and beautiful, others focused on her green skin or pointed chin. Nevertheless she didn't come in middle of the countdown, but quite at the top.

MalloMar: She does NOT deserve to be this high. Green skin, yellow eyes, pointy face, odd makeup, etc.

tiffany88: She is so unattractive, everything is awful on her.

starlight77: I think she's the prettiest villain but not that pretty.

Shanyuisboss: I just can't really see how maleficent in anyway is pretty. I am just trying to wonder how maleficent can be gorgeous. I don't know, it's your opinion. But I just don't see her pretty at all.

7.Maleficent. Elegant vs green skin.
7.Maleficent. Elegant vs green skin.

6)Naveen´s mother (The Princess and the Frog)
A classy queen, who can pull off the grey hair. Her style is sober and her beauty natural, but still there were five who were even more.

retrolove83: i guess the oldest
alexon31: The others are just prettier...

6. Naveen's mother. Beautiful despite the grey hair.
6. Naveen's mother. Beautiful despite the grey hair.

5)Charlotte (The Princess and the Frog)
The girl in pink who became princess for a day was thought pretty but at the same time not so much. She's usually very popular, but as to the beauty department there are mixed feelings.

BelleAnastasia: She's quite pretty, but the other remaining ladies are more beautiful.

dimitri_is_hot: She's not that pretty.

MissAngelPaws: I don't think Charolette is pretty or even cute.

LatinoLollipops: She isn't beautiful, she is just a flatter version of the blonde bimbettes with a different hairstyle, which is funny because everyone always moans about curves being beautiful. I guess not in this case, then again her personality & character rubs people the right way.

5.Charlotte. One day princess.
5.Charlotte. One day princess.

4)Ursula as Vanesa (The Little Mermaid)
Personally, I think she should have won the countdown. Sometimes she looks even better than Ariel! But her looks didn't please all fanpop.

SweetPea2007: She is psychotic looking and has sharp cheekbones and a sharp chin and pencil thin eyebrows...

BelleAnastasia: It's cool that she's in the top 5, but the other 3 ladies are gorgeous!

uploaded900: She needs to go. Her face looks arched and pointy.

Jayden-G: OVERRATED! She is not attractive, just bland

4.Ursula as Vanesa. The enchantress who shadowed Ariel.
4.Ursula as Vanesa. The enchantress who shadowed Ariel.

3)Queen Leah (Sleeping Beauty)
She really looks like Aurora´s mother, so to those who think her daughter the most beautiful, they may consider Leah worthy of such high place. But she has her flaws too.

shanyuisboss: I can't belive she didn't leave yet, she is not beautiful at all. She is a cheap version of aurora.

Mongoose09: She's pretty but she comes across as quite plain when you look at her long enough. Vanessa should be here over her..

CodyVenusTrent: Queen Leah has a pointy chin and a large one by the way. Her hair color is ugly and her face looks weird. Also I hadn´t notice but with that nose she looks like she has a cold.

3.Queen Leah. The Medieval Queen with timeless beauty.
3.Queen Leah. The Medieval Queen with timeless beauty.

2)Rapunzel's mother (Tangled)
She almost got the first place (the difference was one comment), and it's easy to understand why. Her eyes are very expressive and sparky, her complexion beautiful and her hair very detailed.

Jayden-G: Rapunzel's mother is kind of plain compared to Babette, and not in a good way.

Swanpride:Rapunzel's mother has very expressive and beautiful eyes.

2.Rapunzel's mother. Almost a tied-up.
2.Rapunzel's mother. Almost a tied-up.

1)Babette (Beauty and the Beast)
Number one barely appears in her human form, still she dazzles not only Lumiere, but everyone.

Mongoose09: Babette FTW .But both are beautiful.

hajirah4: Babette to me still seems more beautiful to her cold colored features which brings the attraction even more.

And Books_and_Roses said at the beginning of the countdown: Can we all just admit Babette will be the last eliminated? She could be Belle's sister!

1. Babette. With her short appearence, she took everyone's breath away.
1. Babette. With her short appearence, she took everyone's breath away.

I find that Snow has the opposite problem as Elsa: she is frequently just typed as a sensor (because you know, she's all traditional and not adventurous and likes to cook and all that boring sensor stuff, right?). There's a lot of bias and stereotyping with MBTI fans, and I used to be guilty of it too (OK, sometimes I still am). though to be fair, I think Snow IS a little underdeveloped in ways, so she could really be interpreted either way. However, I'll explain why I think she uses Ni over Si.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): No doubt about it, Snow White is warm, caring, and a social butterfly....

The results are in! So which castle is the most beautiful among all? I recently conducted a poll to figure which castles are seen as the most beautiful castles from DP movies by fans, and here's what the Disney Princess fans have to say about each and how they have ranked it.
Special thanks to tiffany88, who has generously contributed not only with her comments but also with phenomenal collages to help the fans choose better! Thank you so much for your generous help! <3

Fans voted out this one the first considering the castle as least beautiful of all. It...

I did say I was going to write Christmas related articles here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the list can variate from person to person though I believe that most of you will agree with my top 5. Anyway this was by far the hardest list I've ever written, the top 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive or is...

My list hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching Aladdin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- Jasmine has really...

Inspired by link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with favorite Openings. I actually really love the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I love the openings that give a more magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope you guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: Frozen Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, you might know more than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy reading and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's shirt is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only Disney villain...

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I love art! I love culture, history, music and I love art. I have done some posts and polls about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would love the most. (I could probably find a Van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another article that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...

I find majority of the DP Movies to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a list of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy list to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the movies above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs overall but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the music sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) singing the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them overall by accumulative "evil"...

It is the month of October which, in reference to DPs, definitely makes me think of the villains! Since I enjoy themes, October will have a "Halloween, Autumn, or Villain" theme in most of my posts. This one is going with Halloween & Villains! I still cannot add any photos to these articles but I will be doing so as soon as possible. I only included the villains that I actually remember doing an "evil laugh" in their original film:

9. Governor Ratcliffe- Pocahontas: Not really an evil laugh, more of a "bad person" laugh. Not too scary.

8. Lady Tremaine- Cinderella: Although it's evil,...

I have recently learned that the red hair is a recessive gene and will eventually die out in centuries to come. To think of it, it is very sad as I absolutely love the fiery reds. So this article is inspired from this recent learning and to dedicate to my favourite hairstyle among all princesses.

13. Cinderella:
I hated putting her so down, especially she being my 3rd favourite princess. I hate the length of her hair, its like neither here nor there. I'd say, being a house maid, the pony with simple tie-band suited her purpose. I actually liked her cute little braids in the morning. But when...

Hey everyone! So a really talented writer on this site had posed a question about which princesses fit best as friends into friend groups. This made me very happy because I honestly think about this all the time (Disney Princess crossovers) so I was excited about the opportunity to read other fans' opinions. After reading many people's opinions and putting careful thought into this, I believe I have come up with groups that best fit the personalities involved. I would love to hear what you guys think, see if you agree or disagree and why so please feel free to leave detailed comments. Thanks!...

Okay so I know I got off on the wrong foot here with some users so I wanted to give a peace offering (to those who want it) by telling about myself so others will get the chance to understand me and see where I am coming from. This is my attempt to:
1) Formally apologize: To those who I lost my temper with, I sincerely apologize for the way I conducted myself. I truly did not come here to start arguments but to get the opinions of others. Since I'm being so villainous, it seemed like an appropriate time to share MY OPINIONS on DP movies villains and rank them in order. (Joke intended :D)

So here goes:

1. Maleficent:
with her one nasty evil stroke, she set the stage, She didn't dabble in small time efforts. Her character is the most alluring and unique. She was a fairy, but an evil one. She has the aura of an enchantress. I loved her confidence when she took the stage while casting out the spell.
The best villainy traits: downright evil, need no disguise, doesn't flaunt but does every act confidently and with most style.

2. Mother...
