Heeeeeellllllooooooo!!!!! If you are wondering why I am so happy it's because I am finally making an article. Some decision, I know. Anyway, this is my first, so please hang in there, I'm going to try to not give my long rants. You know me, I'm always ranting.
This is my opinion, and I don't hate any DP (well, maybe just aurora, but That's it! Please don't bash me!) *Runs away*
I hope you enjoy

10. Aurora
I am going to try to not bash but it's not going to work so don't keep your hopes high. Anyway, she has NO personality. First of all, people say she is so elegant and graceful. I'm sorry! How is acting so girly and cheesy make her elegant. She is very unrealistic, since when do you see people twinkling their eyes and walking like she knows she is being video taped. Just like almost everyone in sleeping beauty, she is just a typical girly girl that acts like she got her lines from a script. Aurora is definetly the definition of a Mary Sue. People say belle is a Mary Sue, what about aurora? She is like Eric, not everyone, but a lot of people always defend her personality just because they like her looks. She just bores me. What is it that is unique about her? She is just a typical damsel in distress. Even Snow White has unique things about her! not aurora, it's just walk around and act girly, recite extremely unrealistic poetic lines. I always hear people say that Aurora's personality is that she's graceful and elegeant. Uh... How is that a personality? You can be gracefully sassy, you can be graceful and stubborn, you can be graceful with a lot of personality traits. Elegant is not a personality. Overall, I will never like aurora. She is a pointless damsel in distress. She wasn't interesting enough to be put more in the movie. They had to use the fairies (I actually like Merryweather better than her).

9. Snow White
I used to hate her just like I hate aurora (although aurora's hate was more), but after rewatching part of the movie, I actually began to appreciate her more. I don't love her though, but she is not a bad character. I'll start with the positives. First of all, I love how Snow White just always stays optimistic and is very creative. Especially with her songs, she always finds something else to sing about and tries to get everyone to sing along. She doesn't like to hate, she just wants to make things better. Snow White makes a bond with everyone, even grumpy. She just really wants to have fun. However, she can sometimes annoy me with her unrealistic cheerfulness. She kind of reminds me of spongebob at times. I don't think anyone is just gonna try have a blast every day of their life. I like how optimistic she is, but it can be too much. Also, she is kind a damsel in distress. Hello, someday my prince will come says it all. Like aurora, she seems like a very stereotypical princess. The last thing I would like to mention how naive she is. She seems like she doesn't know anything about the world and is just exploring as she goes and is trying to navigate things she is not aware of. And her decisions were not smart at all. At least ariel knew that Ursula was evil and that this was gonna be hard but she just challenged herself. Snow White actually believed the wishing apple. I don't how people defend her by saying she was just trying to be nice. That does not make up for her very naive desicions and personality. Overrall, snow is a princess to be admired, but she can't compare to the others.

8. Cinderella
Another classic princess that I unfortunately can't put in the top five but I still really like her and she is my favorite from the classic DPs. I'm tired of people saying cinderella never fought back. Hello? Did you pay attention to the movie. She was being abused for years and decided to give up. But the thing is, unlike most people, she was strong enough to not give up inside. She is very emotionally strong and gentle but doesn't want to let it all out. She just holds back. Cinderella knows that if she just keeps fighting it won't get her anywhere. So like Snow White, she just makes things positive. the thing I like about her more then snow is that she isn't naive, she knows what she is holding against and she isn't too positive which makes her realistic. She is very sweet and she knows when she has had it with her step mom. I love when they keep calling her and you can tell she is trying to just not listen and keep talking to the mice and then she knows she has had it and just goes to see what they want. That shows you that she has feelings and that she is realistic. What keeps me from putting her higher is that she seems a bit typical. Not like snow or aurora, she actually seems like a great character and I can completely understand why people would adore her, but I just prefer the more outgoing princesses. I feel more of a connection with the others and I just feel like they are a little more unique. plus, she is way too cutesy and girly for my taste. But I still really like her and I don't know why I used to not like her.

7. Rapunzel
Okay, unfortunately I only saw a small part of tangled at my friends house so I am going to talk about her from what I've seen. Since I didn't see the whole movie she might get higher or lower on my list. Anyway, Rapunzel reminds me of Ariel except she is more of a goody two-shoes. I love how she is so childish and creative. It seems like she wants to know more about the world but she can't because of mother gothel. Like in the song mother knows best it seemed like she was just trying to get away from gothel which I love. She is always painting and being very creative and is waiting for her life to begin. In the meantime, she just paints and has fun around the house. Not exactly like Snow White, but she reminds me of her. She stares out the window just wishing to see the lights and what I love about her is that she is so much like quasi! She has her own little world inside of her tower and like quasi, she tries to obey gothel just like he tries to obey frollo. I also love how she is so naive and how she reacts to the outside world. like when she saw the rabbit she thought it was this monster. She doesn't know anyone other then gothel so when she saw Flynn she smacked him with her signature frying pan. She has a mind of her own. Obviously, I didn't see the whole movie so I can't put her any from what I know.

6. Ariel
Don't worry, I saw the little mermaid. I used to not really like ariel but now I really like her and almost love her! First of all, she seems hilariously naive of the land and tries navigating things and fitting in when she knows she just has to try. She definetly feels committed to being a human but before she makes her dream come true she has to just do what she is able to and that is explore. I love adventurous heroines and she really fits that category. Ariel for sure is very determined. She got so caught up with exploring the ship she completely forgot about the concert. Ariel knew she was sorry and she tries to make her father understand. I love her way of talking, it isn't weird and poetic like aurora. And when she made her decision, she hesitated. Ariel loved her family and she knew that Ursula was evil knew she was taking a risk. DUH! Ariel isn't that dumb. However, she still is kind of dumb. Yes, she knew Ursula was evil and that it was a risk, but first of all, she doesn't know Eric. It annoys the heck out of me when she keeps talking about Eric and saying he is handsome when he isn't even a big deal. plus, she fell for him for his looks and risked the whole sea for a so called good looking guy. if it weren't for that she would be my second favorite. But I don't hate her. I really like her and I'm very close to really loving her. She just can annoy me

5. Tiana
Another DP movie that i couldnt see, but Unlike tangled I have seen many parts of PATF and I love tiana. First of all, I think she is very underrated. She knows where she is going with her ideas and tries to make it happen. I love how hardworking she is. Tiana goes after her dreams as far as they can go and she is definetly very nice to people that she likes, but If you begin to make her mad she will go on her sassy side. I can very well see her being a leader and she already is a leader. Tiana isn't bossy though. She is dedicated to doing what she dreamed of. She is without question not someone that is going to have a man save her. She is far from everyone else and focuses on herself, not others. She is focused and will stay focused until her dream comes true. The way she talks and acts is makes her very relatable. I didn't put her higher for the simple reason that I didn't watch the whole movie.

4. Jasmine
I absolutely adore her! She without question is like most girls today. I hate when people start saying jasmine is a spoiled brat and she is so ungrateful. The reason is always she has everything and she wants more. Okay, jasmine has fame and fortune. She has people form everywhere asking her hand in marriage and she has money, fancy dinners, and everything she wants. But does she have a life? Is money what makes a real life? What about friends other then a pet tiger? What is she is depressed? Money makes up for that? Her whole life she is sitting on her money and has her whole life planned in a certain agenda. She longs for even the feeling to go to dinner by herself without being escorted. That is what makes jasmine always moody. She would speak for herself if she could. I love how when jasmine went to the market she was just exploring and how she felt so loved their. And then when she forget's the money she feels that feeling when you think (oh, no! What did I do?). Jasmine definetly acts realistic. She is regretful, she is sassy, she is adventurous, independent, smart. And she makes mistakes but she isn't dumb. I also adore how she knows who aladdin is and just wants him to stop pretending he is someone else because she loves the real aladdin. She knows aladdin is the one for her, not mainly because of his looks, but she knows what is right for her and speaks her mind. I can completely understand why she can be moody, all she does all day is sit on her money! But I still think she can be too sassy and it sometimes annoys me. But Overrall, that is it. I adore her. Jasmine may be sassy, but just give her a chance of independence, and you will see she is just independent, not mean.

3. belle
This girl is hard to not at least like. I adore belle! First of all, she feels surrounded by idiots. The town is making fun of her, plan b is to just stick to your book belle. Do not pay attention to them. She is independent. So what everyone thinks she is odd? it's not that they are any better! that's what she thinks. She knows that she feel annoyed but she tries to ignore it. Belle has hopes that her dad will be happy and has a great relationship with her dad. She is very stubborn and will stick to an idea. Belle is independent and once you get to know her very sweet. If you want to be mean like the beast you can deal with her stubbornness. She doesn't care if the beast is all mean, let him be that way. She knows how to just stay put and let the beast be mad. Not to mention, she knows their is a good in someone somewhere. And she isn't gonna put up with attitude, she backs away. But sometimes, she can't help it but be scared. I love her bravery as well. But, compared to the top two she is bland. Their are very few traits I can describe her with. Plus, she can kind of annoy me sometimes because she can be very girly and typical.

2. Pocahontas
One word: Epic! I despise when she is claimed to be boring. HOW IS SHE BORING. First of all, Pocahontas has a huge interaction with the nature and will go beyond what an average person would do. She is too busy diving waterfalls and exploring. I love that Pocahontas doesn't want to get people mad at her. She does not want to disappoint Powhatan when he tells her to get married to kocuom. She feels like kocuom is just boring and like jasmine, she wants to make her own choices. Her character flaw matches her perfectly, she needs to learn to make her own decisions and like grandmother willow said listen to her heart is what she needs to do. She loves nature which is great and she get's all mad when John smith calls her a savage. She isn't like most people who start insulting the person, like I said, she is not sassy or stubborn. She just canoed away from him and obviously really cares about John and everyone. She even cares for kocuom. not to mention, she is a a peace bringwr and cares about her tribe. I Don't want to go in detail. Anyway, I just didn't put her higher because I love my number one more.

1. Mulan
You may already know that mulan is my favorite disney princess. WHY NOT? This girl rocks! first of all she has this great relationship for her family and obeys them because she feels like she wants to impress them. She tries and tries to be the perfect daughter. She wants to feel the honor that she has dreamed of and wants her family to be proud. The only problem is, she isn't fit for this and she knows that inside. But what would her parents think? She is always thinking she has everything under control when really she is just improvising. She is always getting stressed out if things aren't going right but she is a quick and crazy thinker. Even when and idea is crazy of she thinks it is going to work, it is going to work. She is the let's give it a try kind of person and is definetly really brave and smart. She completely transforms from a clumsy girl striving to be the perfect daughter to someone who saved china. And she did it with self confidence. Mulan now is someone who knows what she is going for and makes those decisions herself. Not to mention, she is hilarious and very realistic and relatable. I'm going to break my keyboard if I keep talking so Overrall, she is my favorite and always will be my number one DP

MULAN FANS UNITE! YEAH! Sorry if this was too long and I apologize for my spelling mistakes.

On the eighth day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with Jasmine that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found or created a picture of Jasmine if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,
Two lucky pals,
and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked you which princess fits which months? Most of you felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Brave is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring or summer during the movie. So I hope that you are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the Second Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,
Two Lucky pals,
and the Wisdom of an old Tree

So as promised the second day of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, upload all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the wallpapers then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cinderella was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of you might know that Mulan is my favorite princess and she’s been number 1 on my list for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in love with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icons in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking forward to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to love them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 or 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking forward to watching this one. Mulan was one of my favorite movies growing up!

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I love badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find love or aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

Hello everyone! This is the first of many articles soon to come and I hope you enjoy reading this just as much as I did writing it :)

For each article I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my list or lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my list or lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess fan if I waited THIS LONG to watch this...

This review was originally posted months ago but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could search and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like previous Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
