20. Chien Po

People thought that Chien Po deserved to be in the TOP 20. He ranked considerably above Yao and Ling, maybe because he's the only that wasn't mean to Mulan when she arrived in the army. Also, I think he is cuter than these guys and he surprised me while beating Flora in the tiebreaker.

19. Gus

Gus is likeable, cute and cares a lot for Cinderella, but he gets in people's nerves when he acts dumb, like when he didn't let go of the key in the end or when he insisted on getting all the corn knowing that Lucifer was around.

18. Doc

I am surprised that Doc beated Dopey and Bashful by such a wide margin in the countdown, I didn't know he had so much love. I personally prefer most of the dwarfes over him, but he is cute and very helpful to Snow White.

17. Mrs. Potts

I was afraid she was going to take more time to leave, since she's a character from Beauty and the Beast. But people understand that despite her interesting design, she isn't likeable enough to be above this. Also, she isn't as helpful as most of the other sidekicks.

16. Jaq

I think that Jaq deserved to be higher, he is easily one of the most helpful sidedkicks (one doesn't easily explain his love for Cinderella). But maybe he had too much screentime and that made him a bit annoying.

15. Flounder

After facing 3 hard tiebreakers, Flounder left the countdown without reaching the TOP 10. I expected him to be higher, considering how cute, iconic and loved he is. However, a bunch of Flounder-haters say that he's annoying or that "he could just die in the movie".

"He doesn't do anything. He's only there so Ariel has someone to play off of for dialogue before Sebastian comes along. If you notice, after that, Flounder has nothing important to add to the plot." - heathersvan

"Flounder's very helpful in the movie. He saved Ariel from drowning when she became human, was during "Kiss the Girl", helped Ariel reach the wedding boat and saved Eric from Flotsam and Jetsam. To me that's very helpful of him." - CodyVenusTrent

14. Fairy Godmother

Disney Princess' most iconic sidekick didn't make it to the TOP 10. Fairy Godmother is likeable and funny, but being Cinderella's "Fairy Godmother", she should have showed up before, when Cinderella started being abused.

13. Fauna

This girl went pretty far in the countdown. While I think she's more likeable than Flora, she certainly isn't nearly as helpful. Another user remembered that she didn't want to go to Maleficient's place, though I think that she wouldn't refuse to help Aurora.

"Fauna doesn't do much in the movie and she only helps Phillip at the end. Also, at first, she didn't want to go to Maleficent's castle nor she thought she was that bad.

12. Abu

I was sad that Abu didn't make it to the TOP 10. He saves Aladdin's ass several times and he's very, very funny (I laugh a lot when he imitates Jasmine). However, he annoyed me when he touched the jewel in the cavern and people find him a bit annoying and useless after he becomes an elephant.

11. Chip

Personally, this was one of the biggest surprises of the countdown. While Chip is the only BatB sidekick that really does something helpful (he sets Belle free in the end), he doesn't have much screen time and managed to go past Mrs. Potts and Cogsworth.

"I go for chip - while he is one of the few child non-annoying characters, he isn't that important in the movie. He has his moment to shine towards the end, but otherwise, he is overshadowed by the other characters." - Swanpride

BelleAnastasia I think you are forgetting that the sidekicks in BatB are defending the castle against the angry mob, so I think it is unfair to say that they are useless. They are also doing their best to improve the relationship between Belle and the Beast. I think most of them are pretty helpful and nice addition to the story. I wish the Fairy Godmother has made it to the top 10. She deserves more love. She's the best character in Cinderella imo.

Swanpride I would have prefered Jaq in the top ten (but someone had to change their vote, right? *glare*), because he really makes most of the movie. And I really wish that he had made it on behalf of the Cinderella characters (ideally, one character of each movie would have made it, but honestly, I don't particular miss the pocahontas sidekicks). The fairy godmother is more a plot point than a character, so I'm kinda okay with her going. But I would have switched Jaq with Carpet for the top ten.

I've never done this before. And as a new user, I'm pretty sure that I'm dipping into a kind of no-man's land, here.

I primarily judge Disney princesses not by their looks or anything, but by their character, and by their plot-lines. Some of the Disney princesses are less developed than others, in my opinion, and that might be partially due to the story/plot-line itself ( as most of Disney is adaptation-based).

Some of the characteristics of each princess I find admirable, while other traits I just find...for lack of a better term...irritating. Yeah.

I'm going to rate the Disney princesses...

Best Disney Princess Eyebrows

This is a serious article. Eyebrows frame your face so you need to have the right pair. I spend way too much time plucking and grooming my eyebrows so yeah, I think eyebrows are very aesthetically important. I noticed the results look a bit like my non-existent prettiest Princess list with a few exceptions of course.

13. Mulan
They are Asian looking alright, with the shape. I promise I don't have anything against big eyebrows but Mulan's kind of overpower her eyes and they look a bit untamed. They are definitely not bad, just comparing to the others. Shang has nice strong arched eyebrows though....

One of the best things about Disney princess films are their princesses(obviously) and songs. As a singer, music lover, and actor, I've always paid close attention to the voices that bring these wonderful characters and songs to life. I am picky about the voices I like but can admit that no princess has a bad voice, some are just much better than others. Share your opinions.
