This time around, Mulan is not listed - although the movie overall is very down to earth, there is a little bit magic, mainly Mushu's transformation from stone into flesh. But those sequences are too short to be considered here.

9. Princess and the Frog: There is a lot of magic going on in Princess and the Frog – but since the magic of Facilier belongs into the category villain song, only the transformations at the very end (Ray to star and Tiana and Naveen into humans) will be taken into account here. And it’s at the bottom of the list for a simple reason: They are not memorable. They are so unmemorable, that after watching the movie two times for another article, I was wondering the same evening if there even is some sort of score, and was finally forced to watch this part again, and then I had to figure out what the official title of the track is (“This is Gonna be good”), because I kept forgetting the melody. Hence the last place for this one.

Fanpop says: Nobody seems to particular like this one, not one best vote and it came in as second worst. “It's the best piece in the film, but it's still nothing special.” (fhghu)

8. Sleeping Beauty: There are three songs which I put into the enchantment section: “The Gift of Beauty”, “The Gift of Song” and “Sleeping Beauty”, which gets played when Aurora is sleeping and the three fairies are putting everyone else to sleep. Then there is also the segment in which Merryweather counteracts the curse. Those tunes are beautiful, truly magical, and the only reason they got this placement is that I had to be nitpicky again - and “Sleeping Beauty” might be a little bit too soothing – after all, the audience isn’t suppose to get put to sleep too, right?

Fanpop says: Another one which is unpopular, but nobody really commented on it.

7. Pocahontas: “Listen with your heart” has a wonderful tune, no question. My main beef with it is that “Listen with your heart” is more or less all the song has to say. It’s such an upfront message, which doesn’t get more interesting by getting repeated in the movie a couple of times. It somewhat works, but it's neither very creative, nor that memorable compared to other songs on this list.

Fanpop says: We are now somewhere in the middle – although, more or less every song is somewhere in the middle, with the exception of the clear winner.

6. Aladdin: “Prince Ali” is a totally different approach on a magic song. It’s loud, it’s fun – it’s perhaps a little bit too long, considering that the only purpose is to say “hey, Aladdin is now a prince and he is great!”

Fanpop says: I wish, I had more to write, but yeah, we are still between the middle songs, although some voted for the best for this one, and it was mentioned as a runner-up.

5. Snow White: The sequence with the transformation of the queen is part of the track “I’ve been tricked”, and I think it deserves this place for the way it slowly builds up the suspense and then ends in a swirl of tones, fitting to the swirl of colors on screen. It’s perfectly done, so well, I can’t hear the sequence without seeing the Evil Queen grasping at her throat before my inner eye.

Fanpop says: Seriously, is there are group of people who votes for Snow White as the worst, no matter what? This ended up getting voted as the worst, but as I mentioned before, the voting was very close together. And this time, it can’t be because Snow White’s voice is annoying. So, what’s so bad about this one? Is it because people don’t watch the movie, hence don’t remember the music in it? Since nobody commented, I can only guess.

4. Cinderella: “Bibbedi Bobbedi Bo” gets a lot of brownie points for being creative and using a totally new magic phrase. But the melody itself is great too, very catchy and easy to remember. But perhaps the song is a little bit too upbeat – it lacks the dramatic touch most of the other pieces in this list have.

Fanpop says: This one got a few reactions. “Classic but i've never liked it.” (PociandSmith) “What PociandSmith said. It's charming, yes, but it's not my cup of tea.” (ladyhadhafang). Overall, it was neither overly disliked, nor overly liked.

3. Tangled: Yes, I know, what I said about “Listen with your heart” can be said for the “Healing Incarnation” too. This song gets repeated not only one, but eight times during the movie. It gets played by Mother Gothel when she finds the flower, when she kidnaps Rapunzel, by little Rapunzel, very fast by adult Rapunzel, when Rapunzel needs light under water, when she heals Eugene and finally when Eugene dies. But although it’s always the same words, the situation and the meaning is so different each time, you barely notice the repetition.
When Gothel sings it, it’s creepy. When Rapunzel as a child sings it, it’s heartbreaking considering the circumstances. Then it’s mostly played for fun. And at the end it’s not only heartbreaking, the words become a whole new meaning: “what once was mine” suddenly isn’t something vague, it engulfs all the feelings Rapunzel has for Eugene, her desperate plea to get him back. But the text also works on a different level, one which engulfes the whole movie. Rapunzel herself can be seen as the flower who finally is allowed to shine, and she gets back the life and the family Mother Gothel kept from her during all those years.
Most Disney Princess movies seems to have one song which is more prominent than all the others, a song which underlines the main theme of the movie further. Often it is the "I want" song (Part of your world, A dream is a wish your heart makes), sometimes it is the love song (Once upon a dream). If I had to choose one song from Tangled, it would be this one.

Fanpop says: Still in the middle section. “i love the way her hair glows it looks absolutely amazing” (sheep2901). I have to agree, the animation is stunning, especially in the scene when she heals Eugene.

2. The Little Mermaid: I shouldn’t put this one that high, I really shouldn’t, considering that it's so simple. On the other hand, the tune is just beautiful, and it is the main theme of the movie (I never realized how often “Part of your world” is inserted in one way or another before). Plus, I love the evilness in using Ariel’s voice to enchant Eric.

Fanpop says: Basically, the same thing I say, place two for this one.

1. Beauty and the Beast: Should I even bother to explain this? With nearly 50% for best and not one worst vote, “Transformation” was the clear winner in the Fanpop voting. “This pretty much sums up the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack; just amazing.” (mongoose09) I quite agree there, that's exactly the reason why I put it on place one.

Here are my favorite scenes from each Princess movie.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Ho hum the tune is dumb, the words don't mean a thing. Isn't this a silly song for anyone to sing?

I love the scene where they are all singing and dancing. They all seem so happy and are having such a good time. It surprises even myself that the end kissing scene isn't my favorite. I just find it depressing that Snow White leaves the very people who loved and took care of her for some dude she never even spoke to.

9. Mulan
I don’t hate Mulan; I just like the others better. I admire her for her bravery and strength. She sacrificed herself to save her Father; that’s love people. My favorite line from her movie is “The greatest gift and honor... is having you for a daughter”. It is such a loving and powerful line.
Who is that girl I see?

“Hang on,” Tiana told the others with a confused expression. “What are you all doing here?”
“We are lost, and we have missing friends, and we were looking for you,” Ariel told Tiana. “Do you know where we are?”
“New Orleans,” Tiana told the others.
“Like noorwhens!” Ariel told Tiana excitedly. “Those are those things that you cut things with…Scuttle told me about those!”
“Those are called knives,” Tiana told Ariel. “I run a restaurant, I should...

“Oh my,” Cinderella gasped as she looked at the girl she was staring at. If this was a princess, this would certainly be the strangest princess any of them had yet seen. She had sparse clothing on in a sandy color, with her arms and legs exposed, but she had long, black hair that waved in the windy air.
The girl was tattooed and she playfully smiled. Ariel decided, “How about you go through the same thing!” and Ariel plunged the girl into the water, and the girl came out, shaking her head out.
    “My name is Pocahontas,”...

For most of my life I’ve been a scullery maid.
My Stepmother wants me dead, and I’m afraid.
I’m lucky, because I was able to get away.
I didn’t know what was to become of me, but I knew I’d be okay.
I had just met my one true love, and we shared one song.
I know it’s with him that I belong.
I don’t know if I’ll ever see him again,
But as for now I am living with seven little men.
They gave me a home when I had no where else to go.
My feelings for them are starting to grow.
They want to keep me safe from the evil Queen.
All they ask in return is that I cook for them and clean.
I’ve never...

It was only yesterday that I wanted to leave this place.
Today that is no longer the case.
Things have changed, and I don’t understand.
Nothing is going as I planned.
In his presence I used to be scared.
I was lonely and I didn’t think he cared.
But now there is something different in his eyes.
He’s letting his guard down, and isn’t wearing a disguise.
His inner beauty is finally shining through.
He is sincere and true.
Now I stand in front of a mirror in a beautiful yellow dress.
I feel a little nervous, I must confess.
I think I have fallen in love with him.
Should I tell him how I feel, and go out on a limb?
Yes, my feelings must be released,
Because this Beauty has fallen in love with a Beast.
I realized before I continued on with writing my Disneyville High school story, I needed to put my various students into cliques of some sort. I have one rule only *No Disney herione/princess can be in the "Meal Girl" area. That's restricted to the triplets (one of whom is called Helene), Driezella and Anastasia, and anyone else I can think of who isn't a Disney heroine (or isn't a teacher)

Gaston is jock-either football or wresting.

the others?
Snow White* she's the youngest
Belle-nerdy type I think
Ariel-(I need something for her to collect?)
Aurora?
Jasmine?

Aladdin-loner?
I've been thinking of writing a article for awhile now, but I wanted to wait until after Tangled came out before I wrote it. This is my first article.

10. Tiana(The Princess and the Frog)
I don't dislike Tiana, but I don't care much for her either. She's a dreamer, but her dream is a realistic one, and a like the daydreamers more. She also quite bland compared to some of the other characters, such as Charlotte and Naveen. If she wasn't the main character, I'd probably wouldn't remember her as much.

9. Jasmine(Aladdin)
Now, I like Jasmine. She's smart, pretty, and knows how to stand up for...

10: Eric
If you know me well enough you know I really HATE PRINCE ERIC!!! I'm going to TRY TO KEEP MYSELF CALM WHILE I WRITE THIS!!! I really don't see what the big deal is over this guy. I felt like he's the middle of the princes, not underdeveloped like the classic three but not amazing and has a great personality like every prince after him. He's just there! My whole childhood I could name all the prince but him because he wasn't anything really to...

Well I wrote a favorite prince article so I decided to write a most handsome article too, hope you'll enjoy it :)

10. Beast (human form only)

It's hard to rank an animal so I'll only base my ranking on his human form. I seriously think he should remain beast, I hate his human form, his hair is too similar to Belle's and his smile is a bit weird to me, but his eyes are beautiful. His hair is actually even more awful when it's in a ponytail, the loose hair is acceptable, but in a ponytail it looks so awful to be honest!

9. Shang

I don't get why people finds him handsome, his hair is...

Now, Tiana's up. This was pretty easy. An honourable mention for Zoe Saldana, though quite honestly I don't see the resemblence. She would make a much better Kida.

5.Naturi Naughton
Some of you may know her from 3LW, she's the one who didn't join the Cheetah Girls. Now she's a successful broadway actress and played Lil Kim in Notorious. So clearly she can sing and act very well.

4.Rihanna
Everyone says she should play Tiana, I don't really think Rihanna looks like her. She has Tiana's smile, that's about it. But I think she could do the part, she really isn't a bad actress.

2.Who's your favorite disney princess and disney prince, why?
Ariel, because she's amazing <3, i love her personality and the way she handles things, and if i were in her situations i would be wanting to do what she did but not actually do it, because i don't usually have the guts, she follows her dream without asking, and shows that it's okay to make mistakes, unlike everyone says, i don't think what she did was stupid at all, it's implosive, and if a giant octopus singing, i would...

10. Aurora - Sleeping Beauty
Maybe its because she only has sixteen minutes of screen-time. Or maybe because she has no personality. Whichever reason, Aurora is just a boring love crazed teenager whom I don't really care for. I do love her movie though.
Pretty as a picture, sweeter than a swisher, mad cause I'm cuter than the girl thats with ya.

I have been here for a few months, and I noticed that I did not post my opinion of the weakest to strongest DP Film. Since it would not be fair to put all of these films together (as they were made in different times), I will do it in eras. The Renaissance Era is the era when the company was as successful and popular as they were in the Classic Era. This was also before the decline of traditional animation and before the treacherous Post-Renaissance Era, so I will be doing The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Mulan.

Here is Part 1 of this series: My Opinion on the...

One day, Jasmine was in a bad mood. She decided some brightly-colored jewelry might cheer her up but she couldn’t decide which color to wear. Just then a rainbow appeared. The colors made Jasmine feel happy. “I know! I’ll wear a rainbow jewelry,” she giggled. The only color jewelry Jasmine didn’t wear was her pearl bracelet. “It’s too plain,” she thought, putting in her pocket. Jasmine wanted to show Aladdin colorful look and headed to the market. She notices how happy everyone was. “Wow, your jewelry looks great,” said Aladdin. “It’s as cheerful as the rainbow!” Jasmine...

6. Ariel
I'm sorry Ariel. Your dress was a monstrosity. The grees detailing plus the glittering golden crown made you look like a Christmas decoration. Perhaps the angel they put on the tree. And those sleeves! Dear Goddess, those sleeves looked like they could swallow you alive. But all mistakes on...

All of the Disney Princess films are works of art. Every shot of every film is literally a piece of art. In this countdown, we celebrated the gorgeous art of all of the movies and looked at one of the most under-appreciated aspects of some of our favorite childhood films.

10. Tangled
Most people agreed that the animation in Tangled is impressive and visually stunning, however, it seems those on Fanpop prefer hand-drawn animation. Most of the comments that gave a reason for why they voted out Tangled involved the fact that Tangled uses CGI animation. Many people tried to avoid the issue, but in...
