I love ALL the disney princesses but these are my favorites.
7. Sleeping Beauty (Aurora/Briar Rose)
Ahhh the lovely Briar Rose, many times haled as the most beautiful of all the disney princesses. She's very nice and pretty....and nice...ok so she doesn't do much. That's why she's ranked lower but I still love her! She's such a classic and iconic princess. Some people argue that she only shows up in 18 minutes of the actual film but thats the point! She's SLEEPING beauty. Besides, she has like the best wardrobe ever.
oh my, this better not be that weird lipstick wearing guy in snow white....
oh my, this better not be that weird lipstick wearing guy in snow white....

6. Cinderella
The most iconic disney princess. She is the epitome of a "disney princess". So she may not be the best role model by modern standards but she's a goddamn disney PRINCESS! give her a break, that the whole point of the story. The story shows that if you work hard and believe, good things will happen. Oh so cheesy, yet so classic. Cinderella is my favorite of the "classic princesses" cuz she's just so quintessentially a princess!
That one swirly magic transformation scene...
That one swirly magic transformation scene...

5. Mulan
Who doesn't love a warrior princess who kicks butt? I also love her cuz I'm asian. Plus Mulan just oozes awesomeness! She's got a smart-mouthed dragon as a sidekick and saved the entire country of china! She is the bravest of the princesses and she's just plain awesome. Also she was the most hard working and was the only princess to actually save her prince, instead of vice versa. She's not ranked higher, cuz her story lacks romance and magic.

4. Jasmine
Ok so my top 4 can virtually be in ANY order. This is just what I felt like right now. Aladdin is one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME. The story line is amazing and I love Jasmine. She's got a sassy attitude and is a total rebel. She's strong willed and has mental toughness. She is willing to look beyond the surface and is super adventurous. Plus she has an epic win singing voice and an epic win song. (A whole new world). Her movie was the most hilarious of the disney princess movies and she has the most amazing hair :)
me? rebel? never ;)
me? rebel? never ;)

3. Ariel
The princess who lived in the beautiful sea kingdom of Atlantica. plus she has the MOST AMAZING VOICE. Everything about Ariel is just so epic win. Now there are haters who say that she's a bad role model cuz she wanted to change herself for her prince. But come on! She's a 16 year old rebellious 80s teenager! She never gave up on her dream. It shows kids that they have to be determined to get what they want and have the life they want. She has the best songs (part of your world anyone?) and she has my favorite prince. I love Ariel's bubbly personality and her strong will. She's at number 3 cuz the next two just relate more to me.
shalalalalalala my oh my....

2. Megara
okokokok, i GET it. She's NOT an official Disney Princess, but she SHOULD BE. She's the effin daughter in law of ZEUS! come on now. Anyways, Meg is just so relatable to girls everywhere. I love her hard to get attitude, and how she sacrificed her own life to save Hercules. Sure, people say she's anorexic, but she's a goddamn cartoon. I think she's one of the prettiest disney girls because she's not drawn in the conventional way. Her face is very angular and has exaggerated features which makes her very uniquely beautiful. She is by far the best Disney heroine who is not an official princess. (It also helps that she has such a cool song, and that amazing curly zigzaggy long brown hair.)
I'm not in love! ...sure meg, sure ;)
I'm not in love! ...sure meg, sure ;)

1. yup, you guessed it. BELLE
Everybody just loves Belle. rht? o.O
Anyways, needless to say, I love her cuz she's smart, relatable, gorgeous, sensible, and wise. She also has a personality that isn't all "help-me-i'm-a damsel-in-distress" She's independent, loves her family, and is willing to sacrifice her own freedom for her father. She is brave, not afraid to fight a pack of wolves and has to be pretty strong to get that beast on top of the horse on her own. Belle is nice, just like any princess should be, but she's not weak and guillable *coughsnowwhitecough* Anyways, Belle remains my favorite Disney Princess till this day because she has just the right amount of the modern independent woman in her, but also the right amount of princess, lovely, elegant etc qualities. She's also one of the only brunettes and the animation of her movie is AMAZING. She's also very well animated and her posture is lovely.
her looks have got no parallel....

And so we have it, my favorite disney princesses. I love all of them including the ones that did not make the list. I grew up with Disney and forever will be a disney girl at heart <3

Which Disney Princess got to live in the most beautiful house? Which ruled the hearts of fans - the cottages, mansions or humble homes?
Fans have voted and results are in! Here's a look how fans ranked the DP homes.

12. Aladdin's home:
Most fans understood that this barely counted as a home, but more like a shelter to rest at night. It barely had anything, not even a door. Even though it had a great view, beautiful it surely wasn't.

anukriti2409: This is really an abandoned place, which Aladdin uses for shelter. It's really downtrodden, with no furniture or gate or windows or curtains. It's...

1. Working dress
1. Working dress
Hi there, My next princess will be Cinderella. She has a few more outfits than snow white so we will be having more information today.

1. Working dress
I must begin by saying it's not a dress It's just a blue top with a brown like vest on, brown skirt, white apron with brown flat plump shoes. Like snow whites it's not an outfit you would go on a date with or meet a handsome prince but for a worker then its the best for the job. 5/10

2. Ball dress A
Those step sisters just can't stand her and her dress as it was quickly destroyed. The dress is a pink mainly with a white lower section, pink heels...

Hello again everyone! Here we are with the list of best brown outfits. There are a few of them among the DPs, and I enjoyed this countdown because these outfits so rarely get the spotlight. Most of them are overshadowed by other outfits the characters wear. Hope you enjoyed it!

6. Snow White's brown and white dress

I was kind of sad to see this dress be the first eliminated, although I expected as much. I'm rather fond of this dress for some reason. I'm not sure why. I actually like it better than her iconic dress - I think the colors look much nicer on her...

Hello Kenny.
Hello Kenny.
Okay, since I had done with Enya. Now it's Kenny G's turn! Are you ready?

1. Songbird

Whenever I listened to this music, Snow White would come to my mind since she loves birds, especially during the 'With a Smile and a Song' and the 'Working Song' scene.

2. By the Time the Night is Over

Ella and Kit/ Cinderella and Prince Charming, I personally think it suits the latter more because when the night is over, he will find the mysterious girl that fits the glass slipper.

3. Heart and Soul

Princess Aurora and Prince Philip will dance together to this music, especially during 'Once upon a Dream' and...

Hey everyone! This is my second countdown in the series, and it was a short one since there are only three yellow dresses and one orange dress among the DPs. Despite that, I thought it was a good countdown.

4. Tiana's orange dress

I don't think this dress is ugly, but most users agreed that it was very plain, and some didn't like the color on Tiana very much.

It's not as cute as the others and it's not iconic like Belle and Snow White's dress. ~SarahCorine
It is also nice, but others are just better. ~hirohamada
Orange is not a flattering color on Tiana. ~wavesurf

Hey everyone! So this is the first culminating article in a series of countdowns that I am doing. There will be one for each color of outfit. The winning outfit in each countdown will then continue on to a final countdown which will determine Fanpop's number one DP outfit. Enjoy! :)

9. Mulan's pink and blue underclothes

I didn't mind this outfit. In fact, I quite liked the contrast between the blue top and pink bottom. However, most users disagreed, finding it too plain.

Unremarkable. ~Silverrose1991
It's very plain and is just undergarments ~KataraLover
Too plain and not interesting. ~Sparklefairy375...

Loving this movie.
Loving this movie.
Okay, I was watching the 2012 version of Les Miserables last night and I had seen the 2015 reboot of Cinderella last month. Both movies have a common theme with each other: Forgiveness. The characters also play a similar traits to each other.

Cinderella

While watching this movie last month, I keep thinking that the story reminds me of Les Miserables! Aside from the same filming location of France, certain scenes and characters remind of some characters from Les Miserables.
For example, during the scene after Lady Tremaine and the 2 stepsisters called Ella by her trademark name, Cinderella. The...

Hey there! I'm isabellagirl033 and as you all are well aware Cinderella has been adapted many times into live-action movies though only some manage to truely be a hit. I'm going to break down some of my favourite portrayals into my Top 5.

5. Hillary Duff, A Cinderella Story
Despite it's cringe-worthiness and lack of loyalty to it's source, I still managed to enjoy the movie. Tween icon Hillary Duff is the last thing that comes into my mind when I think of Cinderella but she made a convincing one at that. I think this spot goes to Hillary Duff mostly due to...

I have already done this, a few months ago actually and I decided to do it again. My opinion has changed a lot, because a lot of people have made good points and so many of these good points have changed my opinion quite s bit.

13. Aurora

It's not so much that I dislike her, it's just I found her kind of bland in her movie. She was boring, though I enjoyed her sweet personality. I get she had to sleep, it was simply a part of her story, but I just didn't get to know her much. I know it sounds kind of unfair, but I find it hard to place her higher.

12. Pocahontas

I don't dislike her...

The cast!
The cast!
Hi guys, since Frozen has took the world by storm, this article is basically about my initial impressions about the story-line, the songs and music, as well as the art and characters' designs back in 2003, 10 years before the movie that took the world by storm.

The Story

When I first heard that Disney was going to adapt the Snow Queen, my first impression was that it was going to be faithful towards the original story by Hans Christian Anderson. Secondly, I thought that it was about 2 sisters who one of them discover to have ice powers, according to a prophecy, were separated since they were...

Hi everyone!

In this article, I’m going to compare two movies from the Disney Revival, one revolving around a lost princess with magical golden hair, and the other revolving around two sisters, one of whom is a queen with ice powers.

Part A.    Which is the "better" movie?

Tangled has a more cohesive plot and seems to me to have deeper characters that interact superbly with each other. Emotions and thoughts were successfully conveyed with an abundance of facial expressions. The hair animation was astounding, but the skin and eyes could sometimes seem plastic-like or lifeless....

12) The Princess and the Frog
I'm not positive but I think this has a somewhat large fanbase on Fanpop? Even if it doesn't, I don't think that I'll ever adore this film. I'll start with the positives. I LOVE Down in New Orleans and basically the whole beginning. When Tiana is human, it's actually very entertaining. I adore Lottie, and it just is, for lack of better word, better during this part of the film. It's funnier and much, much less obnoxious. I like Facilier and Tiana and Naveen is hilarious at times, but the second half of the film...oh lord. It's so annoying...half the time I can't...
