I was the Disney Princess nobody knew. They all knew Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, yet nobody knew me.
I am Princess Adella and this is my story
"The ball is coming up and you must look fantastic" my aunt said as I was standing up on a tall stool watching the maids get my measurements. "Why is this different from any other ball I've attended?" I asked. "Because, Prince Risstan will be there" she answered.
Prince Risstan, the one my aunt and uncle wanted me to marry. I would have to obey them, they are my guardians. Prince Risstan was a vain, proud prince with a huge appetite. Hardly a knight in shining armor.
My thick curly dark brown hair hung down my back. My blue eyes sparkled when I smiled. I looked like my dead father, but I inherited my mother's beauty.
My parents died in a carriage accident 10 years ago, I was only 6.
"Aunt, dont you think we can find another prince. Someone who wouldnt eat us out of the castle" I asked her.
"His appetite is no laughing matter. And no I am very sure he is the one for you" she answered. I sighed then stepped off of the stool. "What color for your gown, miss?" the tailor asked. "Well, I think a light green would look good" I answered. My aunt nodded agreement.
"Alright, I'll have it ready in time for the ball tonight" the tailor said then took her fabrics and cart then left the room. "Put your dress back on then you are free do whatever you want" my aunt said then left the room.
I put on my pink silk dress over my corset and flannel underwear.
I walked through the huge castle and walked into the library. The rows and rows of books seemed waiting for me to read them. I walked into my favorite part of the library. The Fantasy section.
I picked up a book called 'The Hidden Prince'. The library seemed magical when I was alone in it. The books each had their own story and history.
"I thought you might come today" said a voice behin me. I dropped the book, startled then turned around. There was my teacher, Sir Peter.
Sir Peter was a young man. Couldnt be more than 20. His blue eyes shone down on me. Sir Peter had a easy going attitude and he was always ready to teach something.
"Oh, yes. I was just looking for a book to read" I stammered. "Good. I trust you finished Thursday's lesson?" he answered then picked up the book I dropped. "Well, I really didnt understand it. You said to write an essay on the Golden Age of our country. So, I looked it up and it said their were two Golden Ages" I answered.
"Ah, yes the unusual history of our country, Koria" he said. I waited for him to continue but he didnt. "Anyway, lets just begin your lessons" he said then led me to the desk.

If I choose wrong, I will feel my Father’s wrath.
He simply won’t understand,
And will insist that I do as he commands.
Deep down in my heart I know that it’s right,
And I am willing to put up a fight.
I fell for a pale face.
The feelings I have can’t be erased.
I have shown him all the colors of the wind,
And he was finally able to comprehend.
We could have one adventure after the other.
I never want to be with another.
I told my Father I don’t want to marry Kocoum,
But he doesn’t know where I’m coming from.
I have to keep our two worlds from going to war.
They must know we don’t have to fight anymore.
I must create peace,
Or the hate will just increase.
They have to see my side,
Or else our love will be denied.
Hey everybody! Happy DMLK day! I'll celebrate by some mixed people...
Lottie and Tia!
I like that even in their racist times Tiana and Lottie were friends all the way... I'm sure in events before the movie, Charlotte's light skinned friends judged her because she was friends with Tia and Tia's darker dark skinned friends didn't trust Lottie... I found this relationship sweet... she even risked a life-long dream for Tia. Can this friendship get anymore sweeter???
:') They've been friends since they were 5 or 7... unlike Pocahontas and her BFF... we don't know a lot about them... she seemed like a character after those sailors... but Lottie and Tia have that kind of friendship. The highlight is their times. Talk about racist! So yeah that's it!
This Friendship is perfect for today!
[I] I'll do it but for you Tia, no marriage included![I]
