I walked to work the next day with my head in the air. I never felt better in my life--I couldn't believe that my mother actually fell for the phony note.
I opened the door to my boss's office. "Mr. Anthony, I got the note signed by my mother. What's next?" I sat down in the plastic chair in front of his desk.
He dug through his desk and pulled out a black suitcase. "The task begins," he announced, handing it to me.
My heart stopped. I felt the cool texture of the black leather under my palm. "What's inside?"
"Your suit, a camera, notepad, laser pen, and a bar for defense," he counted these off his fingers. "Now suit up and come back when you're done."
I hustled to the bathroom and into the stall. I flicked open the golden switch and the case opened. A black suit was nicely folded inside it.
"Wicked," I muttered, changing clothes.
On my thigh, there was a long black pouch. I assumed it was for the metal bar. I slid it inside, and put the rest of the materials in the other pockets.
When I returned, Mr. Anthony added a walkie-talkie to my supplies. "We need to keep in touch during your mission."
He turned around and flipped a shutter down his window. On it, was a map of Disney Manor, the one place where all the Disney couples lived out their lives.
He pointed a stick at the entrance. "Never, EVER enter through the entrance, unless they've caught you and you need to run." He slid the pointer toward the top of the manor, where a window was left open. "This is the security room, where you will enter. You have to make sure you turn off all the cameras, so nobody will see you snooping around."
I nodded. "Got it."
He raised an eyebrow. "The objective of this mission is to take as many pictures of the couples and writing info about them on the notepad. But don't let your guard down. We're going up against 14th century weaponry."
"You mean swords and arrows, right?" For some reason, I wasn't scared at all. "You should've given me a gun."
He scoffed. "Like I'd trust a 16-year old with a gun. Right." He thrusted a set of keys at me. "This car is bulletproof, which means it could handle swords and arrows too. It also has a built-in GPS system, in case you get lost on the way."
I frowned. "I won't."
He patted me on the shoulder. "Coming from an adult, please be careful, Jeannette. Be very aware of your surroundings. And NEVER underestimate women with beautiful singing voices."
"Um, okay?"
He shoved me out the door. "Good luck, Thomas." He saluted me. "Godspeed."
I saluted back. "Thanks so much, Sir." And with that, I left.

And so began the biggest adventure of my LIFE.
This is an example of what the suit looks like. It's very similar to Roxy Rocket's suit, just without the helmet and the jacket. :D

In the 90s, Disney was going for something different in their leading ladies. They wanted heroines who were COMPLEX, women who were INTERESTING, and they were determined to give (most of) the princesses realistic, believable, and unashamed flaws. These princesses were supposed to be relatable and a lady a normal girl could identify with. Perhaps this is why these princesses are generally preferred to the classics. These princesses had obvious dimensions to their personalities, and all were made to seem like a girl you could run in to on the street.

A lot of people have been complaining that Frozen and Tangled are so alike, how Anna and Rapunzel look like twins or cousins and blah....well, I'm here to give reasons on why they're different.

1: Anna and Rapunzel

I know, I know, so Anna and Rapunzel "look alike." I feel like the fans say this because they were both structured the same, with a circle/oval head, the young eyes, and young face. Hey, at least they don't have the same hair color! Anna and Rapunzel were both made up by the same base, meaning the same body, but with different looks, that's all!

Anna and Rapunzel both ran away/went...

Rapunzel is one of my favourite princesses. I'm tired of listening to people criticizing Rapunzel and saying that they don't like her for the same reasons, so I wanted to write an article to explain why I don't agree with them.

Rapunzel is flawless

She is not perfect! She's very insecure and at the beginning she's not very brave. Also, she's indecisive. Of course, these flaws don't make her a bad character, but it's just easier to relate to her.

Rapunzel remains the same during all the film, she doesn't change.

Ok the truth is that we don't see a dramatic change in her character, like with Eugene....

Hi! I've been a part of Fanpop for a little over two years and I realized I have never written this kind of article before. I know this is an article that people normally write when they first join, but oh well. Anyway, I've decided to write it now and I hope you guys enjoy it. Feel free to express your opinion, but please do so in a mature and considerate fashion. Lets begin!

13. Merida
I think Merida is more cute then she is pretty and she kind of looks funny from the side view. Her mother is pretty than her, but I think Merida has very beautiful eyes. Her eyes are blue (my favorite color)...

The unseen force released her, pushing her into the person whose home she’d just broken into. They tumbled to the floor, and Elsa was only aware of three things: her icy magic, glaring into the petite girl’s arms and covering them in frost, the angry, painful burning sensation caused by the girl’s glowing hair; which was draped over the former queen’s prone figure, and the fact that the red-headed assassin was standing on the windowsill, an arrow in her bow and prepared to do her job. All of this meant one thing, and one thing only.

Elsa was going to be killed, her death punctuated...

Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the twin tower.
After all of the princesses and Dee Dee are enjoying their lunch at a Nyonya Restaurant, suddenly everything goes black and they become scared. " What was that?" asked Merida, trying not to sound scared. Then, a black, giant smoke appears in the middle and it forms into a black reaper-like figure.
"So you have arrive in Malaysia now, I'll curse the whole of the country into darkness and despair with the help of my friend, Jafar!" It lets out an evil laughter and disappears, then everything goes back to normal.
"Who was that?" asks Dee Dee, "that is the spirit of despair!" replied Cinderella,...

I've already made an article like this for link, link, link, and link, and thought it was only right to do one for the amazing Pocahontas. Pocahontas has gone through a roller coaster on my list, most recently being 10th on my list, but I've always loved her. When I first came to the club, Pocahontas was my second favorite, and she's finally joined back into the top 5, now coming in at 4 (3 if you don't count Elsa). Well anyway let's get starting with me talking about why I love Pocahontas!

Pocahontas is great in many ways, but I think there was one instance that really struck me as remarkable,...

I thought next up, I'd rate the windows to the soul: the princess' eyes!

13. Merida

I love the color! Her eyes are a cold clear blue, and they make me feel like I'm glancing into the Arctic Circle. However, they are seemingly lashless and plain, which lands them at 13.

12. Anna

Once again, very nice color. I just can't get over the shape. Something about them makes her face look like a puppy.

11. Jasmine

I'm not complaining about size in this article, see how I didn't say anything about Anna? I mean, they ARE cartoons, they'd look odd with normal eyes (the skinniness is...

Snow White: link

I like making playlists on my ipod for all of my favourite characters from all kinds of media. Sometimes the songs don't fit the characters and are just there to capture the symbolism from objects, animals or magic used in the film. I've made a playlist for a few of the Princesses and it's time I shared them with you. I'll add lyrics that I think relates to them the most.

Symbolism: Attic, Miracles, Sparkles, Dancing, Glass Slippers, alternate universe - shattered dreams

Everyone was speechless. The guests stared at the open door, the one Elsa had fled through and the blizzard that was already raging out there.

"But.... but it's summer..." One dignitary mumbled.

Anna started to feel really cold. Either Elsa's curse was actually coming true, or it's just the wind from the blizzard. But if the curse does come true, Anna needs to reverse it. She ran over to the broken pieces of the crown and gathered them in her skirt. She counted the pieces. Eight. The crown was in 8 pieces.

Anna knew there was only one solution. She had to travel to the magical trolls that she...

Decided to do an article like this too, I've actually been wanting to do this for a long time, but I thought it was hard to do, well it was hard even now to do this list because I think Snow White is the type of princess that would get along well with the other princesses, but anyway hope you'll like this article :)

10. Merida

If we're basing it on Merida's personality in the end of the movie she would be placed slightly higher on this list since she's more like Snow White at that point, but now I based it on her personality during most of the time in the movie and that is what puts her...
