9. Snow White

Snow White may be adorable, sweet and charming, but when she sings, glass breaks, dogs bark and car alarms are set off. I love her...she is precious, but her singing voice is a bit high for my tastes, and apparently all of yours, since she came in last place.

"Even thought I've grown to like Snow's voice, it still gives me a headache when she sings I'm Wishing." -VGfan30

"I love Snow White's voice too it's sweet and charming. It's not one of my favorites but it's really pretty I love how she hits those high notes." -KataraLover

"I don't think Snow White's is awful, it just definitely tends to wear on you after a while." -phantomrose89

8. Aurora

Having the gift of song doesn't necessarily gurantee you'll win in this countdown. Aurora has a lovely voice, but most voters found her soprano voice to be a bit too much at times. Some found her voice to be too mature for someone of her age.

"It's not terrible in fact I think it's pretty. However it's too opera for my taste plus the fact that NO 16 YEAR OLD SOUNS LIKE THAT! I think her voice is much better in Enchanted Tales she sounds like an actual 16 year old girl and her voice is beuatiful." -KataraLover

"I think her voice is terrible, no 16-year-old girl has such voice!" -BelleAnastasia

7. Belle

The girls who's strange but special comes in at #7. Like most of the voters, I find Belle's voice is a bit bland compared to the rest of the Princesses left in the countdown.

"I just think it doesn't really match her." -bubbles4u22

"I don't like Belle's voice, it sounds too old for her." -BelleAnastasia

"I think Rapunzel's voice sounds like she's talking ... whereas Belle actually sings." -callejahLUVSed

6. Rapunzel

Most everyone agreed that she has a pretty singing voice, but there's nothing that makes her stand out from the others. Most found it to be sweet, but a little bland.

"Anyway this is just plain & generic. Don't get me wrong Mandy Moore is a good singer and Rapunzel is nice to listen to, but meh.. it's just nothing special." -Mongoose09

"Her voice is rather plain. And boring. I like her speaking voice though." -Darkshine

"I DO LIKE HER VOICE! what is wrong with kind of pop style? :L I don't know why people doesn't like it, it's fresh and young." -pulgaenana

5. Cinderella

I adore Cinderella's singing voice. A lot of it, I'm sure, has to do with because she is my favorite Princess. Her voice is just so soothing. It's calm, and serene, and it's soft like milk and honey...I know, sounds lame, but that's how her voice makes me feel!

"its all to do with different tastes really. to me Cinderella's voice is by far more beautiful and more pleasant to listen to than Jasmine/Mulan/Rapunzel." -Mongoose09

"Ohhh I LOVE Cindy's voice. <3." -ppv

"Her voice is lovely, but ...that's about it. It never reaches an emotional point for me. I can't really connect." -princesslullaby

4. Jasmine & Mulan

Both of these Princesses are voiced by the lovely Lea Salonga. I never noticed that they had the same voice until I joined fanpop! It's weird, but Jasmine and Mulan sound a little different. Maybe her voice changed over the years, lol :)

"In my opinion Jasmine/Mulan's and Pocahontas' are the best. Lea Salonga's voice is gorgeous. It's just really pure I guess :)." -bubbles4u22

"I love Lea Salonga's voice but I don't think this really does her justice, she sounds 10 times better live in my opinion." -Mongoose09

"I think the voice worked for Mulan but not Jasmine." -cruella

3. Tiana

Tiana has a very unique voice. It's smooth and full of soul. Her voice is the perfect fit for her films setting. It has a jazzy sound to it.

"Her voice lacks the identity which the others have - whilst theirs are inimitable, hers is quite middle-of-the-road vocally." -Ashley-Green

"so hard to choose out of Ariel/Tiana but i'd say i prefer Tiana's voice." -Mongoose09

"I like more powerful voices like Tiana's and Pocahontas'." -cromulanfav

2. Ariel

The little Mermaid with the voice of an angel comes in at number 2...I was a bit shocked. I was almost willing to bet my next paycheck that she would win (being sarcastic)...well, maybe not THAT willing :) I could listen to her voice everyday. It's calm, and takes me back to my childhood, praying to grow fins and to one day be able to sing like Ariel.

"Nothing is better than Ariel's voice". -KataraLover <--BIG surprise, I know...and I say that with love ;)

"Ariel's voice is just so heavenly :)." - SailorM91

"I love Ariel's voice, it's so sweet." -SarahCorine

1. Pocahontas

If anyone can sing with all the voices of the mountain, it's Pocahontas. Her voice is absolutely stunning. No matter what kind of mood I'm in, listening to her sing just makes me sit back, and relax. It is unique, and stands out from the rest of the Princesses. I much prefer her singing voice over her speaking voice. Her speaking voice has no depth or soul, whereas her singing voice can bring you to your knees.

"Poca's voice is the best IMO." -tiffany88

"Poca's voice is AMAZING." -Mongoose09

"Her voice isn't too special to me. But the old preview for Pocahontas when she's singing "Colors of the Wind" nearly set my eyes a-watering when I was younger." -ClassicTV

"I love Ariel's voice, it's so sweet, but Pocahontas's voice is so powerful and strong." -SarahCorine

"Well, I think Pocahontas's voice is more powerful than Ariel's voice. I like it better, overall." -TigerRanma

Hi everyone!

In this article, I’m going to compare two movies from the Disney Revival, one revolving around a lost princess with magical golden hair, and the other revolving around two sisters, one of whom is a queen with ice powers.

Part A.    Which is the "better" movie?

Tangled has a more cohesive plot and seems to me to have deeper characters that interact superbly with each other. Emotions and thoughts were successfully conveyed with an abundance of facial expressions. The hair animation was astounding, but the skin and eyes could sometimes seem plastic-like or lifeless....

12) The Princess and the Frog
I'm not positive but I think this has a somewhat large fanbase on Fanpop? Even if it doesn't, I don't think that I'll ever adore this film. I'll start with the positives. I LOVE Down in New Orleans and basically the whole beginning. When Tiana is human, it's actually very entertaining. I adore Lottie, and it just is, for lack of better word, better during this part of the film. It's funnier and much, much less obnoxious. I like Facilier and Tiana and Naveen is hilarious at times, but the second half of the film...oh lord. It's so annoying...half the time I can't...

This is my ranking of the princes. This is probably going to be one of my harder articles so please don't be rude.

12. Hans- I can't even describe how much I dislike this character. I hate the idea that the handsome prince has to be a jerk. One of the things I really hate about Frozen is that it mocks the love at first sight of the Walt era princess films. Yes you don't marry a guy you just met but I think most people are smart enough to know that, it's just common sense, yes there is no such thing as love at first sight but that's because they're fairytales and fairytales aren't suppose to...

“Rapunzel” is the kind of story that consistently ranks highly in people’s lists of their favorite fairy tales. With a dramatic plot, interesting characters, symbolic motifs, and the underlying theme of the redeeming power of love, the tale certainly seems to deserve such adoration. Grimm’s version of the story is perhaps the most known retelling,
Grimm's Rapunzel
Grimm's Rapunzel
although that may have changed as of 2010 with Disney’s adaptation, Tangled, a movie just as rife with symbolism as its literary inspiration. Although both are variations on the Rapunzel narrative, Disney’s movie veers...

One thing I love about Christmas is all the cute outfits avaliable and Disney Princesses also wears Christmas Outfits aswell as Winter Outfits and since those two pretty much are the same I decided to rank my favorite Disney Princess Christmas/Winter Outfits, there are quite a lot of them so I decided to do a 2 part countdown, this will be dedicated to all the outfits from movies (sequels included) and tv-shows (Only Sofia The First) and the next one is dedicated to all the ones seen in promotional images

12. Pocahontas's Winter Outfit Without Cape

This outfit despite it's low placement...

So I didn't use any 1 prince twice and I tried to match everyone to their best match outside of the original. This is inspired by the wonderful job of link article. She did an amazing job pairing them up! Such an amazing job that it made me want to try myself. Hope you guys don't mind, this was just for fun! The absolutely ❤️amazing❤️ crossovers were done by a multiple of talented users on this site. After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a fan of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde,...

Last time I wrote this list Brave and Frozen hadn't been released so now I'll write this list with them included, hope you'll like it

12. Pocahontas

This scene is amazing to look at, no wonder many people loves this ending, but why is it then last on my list? While it's an amazing scene to look at it isn't a happy ending, normally I don't mind it, but Disney is known for making happy endings so honestly if this movie was made by another company and was live action I probably would love the ending more

11. Mulan

This ending starts off great with Mulan reuniting with her father and Shang...

So here is the Part 2 to my musical countdown: Scores. I love Disney music and I honestly love the scores over the songs. They have all of the "magic Disney" feel that I absolutely adore. Also, I love how the scores can provide a blend of the different songs from it's respective films as well as stir up all of the emotions and/or memories from it's respective scene(s). For those reasons, this list was much harder for me to make than Part 1: Songs, but I managed to finish! As I mentioned before, I cannot get enough from the musical team of Alan Menken and Howard...

So many times have I heard that Disney Princess movies are for little girls who wish upon a fairy godmother, want to be rescued by a handsome prince and live happily ever after. This is so not true and doubt all those who have opinions like this, if they have ever watched any DP movie seriously. So here's my 5 reasons why adults should consider Disney Princess movies as serious entertainment

5. Animation Art:
Any adult who have serious interest in animation art will not only enjoy the ever-evolving animation style from Disney studio but will find that animation in these movies are top-notch....

Ok so I saw a talented user here post an article about the Bechdel Test and being the Walt geek that I am, was immediately inspired to do a Walt Disney Test.

Walt Disney was unfortunately only alive to fully see over the production and release of Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty which are known as the "Classic Princesses". For this reason, I took everything in common that I could find with these 3 princesses for relevancy to rate the others. The 14 commonalities I found were: 1.) Beautiful Face 2.) In Shape Body 3.) Soft/Sweet Speaking Voice 4.) Singing Voice 5.) Dance Scene [Solo...

Tiana- The Under-rated

When Princess and the Frog came out it got people talking. Not only is Tiana a trailblazer for being the first African American Princess, but she was the first princess to independently have jobs and dedication to pursue a realistic career, I get that not every little girl dreams of having a business and they’d rather have the sparkly gown but I had hopes that Tiana would inspire them to come up with realistic goals. But .......she was not as loved as I thought . Also , some people ( SOME ONLY ) dislike her for her color tone !!!!!!!

Mulan- The Very Underrated

Now , she...

What if all of the Disney Princesses were American and lived in American cities? Which ones would they choose to live in? (*Note, I comprised this list of where they would want to live as a free choosing adult, not where they would have been born and raised. That is another list.)

Snow White: Phoenix, Arizona
Because there is a large elderly population there so Snow could help them like she did the dwarves. She is also a conservative princess that I think would enjoy living out under the stars in a more traditional place.

Cinderella: Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota
Because it is a city rich...

Snow White: Portland, Oregon
Because it has a very friendly and comfortable environment. Snow was very naïve and very trusting, it would make sense if she grew up in a safe place like this.

Cinderella: Dallas, Texas
Because it is very conservative and traditional. There are more gender roles so it would make more sense why Cinderella took...
