A lovely beauty sat in her favorite spot, a maple tree rocking chair next to a large window. Her legs were daintily crossed and she slowly read a book, taking in all of the inked on words. Her younger and older brothers were playing pretend, again. Her father, Judge Claude Frollo, was busy at some silly festival, while her mother, Madame Adelaide, was out shopping. Belle's cat, Duchess, walked up next to her and started to purr. Young Belle Frollo put down her engrossing book and gently ran her soft fingers through her cat's soft white fur. Taran and Quasi Frollo were pretending to be soldiers, again. Belle looked at her brothers and laughed as Taran 'stabbed' Quasi through the heart.

A knock on the door startled all four of them. Belle walked over to the door and looked through a small peephole, to see Gaston, a horrid beast, and some kind of soldier in golden armor. Belle slowly opened the heavy wooden door. "This man needs to speak to your father." The soldier said removing his helmet, revealing blonde hair. "Um, he is not here at the moment, but would you like to come in for some tea?" Belle asked. The soldier nodded and walked in. But before Gaston could come in, Belle shut the door and he smacked his head on the wood.

"My name is Belle, and these are my brothers, Taran and Quasi." She said as they bowed. "My name is Captain Phoebus."
