It's the following day since Proteus and his men have met Kida and her acquaintances. Now, they are getting ready to leave on a new ship that the people of Atlantis have donated for them. "Well," Proteus says as he finishes throwing a large chest full of sharp swords onto the deck of the ship. "That should be everything." He smiles. "Yeah but," One of the prince's men swings from a long rope from the mast of the boat. "How do we know where to go?" That was very true. No one had known how to get out of Atlantis. If they attempted to, they would be most likely to get lost. "I think I may help." Someone with a hoarse voice says faintly. An old Atlantian man with blank white hair walks towards the prince and his crew. Right behind him, is Kida accompanying him. Proteus stands and stares at the two. "Someone will guide you from here on out." The prince smirks. "I'm sure we will. And you are?" "This is my father." Kida introduces the elder. "The King of Atlantis." She continues. King? Then that means... "You're a princess?" Proteus asks calmly. Kida giggles. "Of course I am." She hugs her father. "Father, I think I may go with them. I know more." she urges him to let her go in a whisper voice. "I...I am not sure my daughter." The king whispers back in his daughter's ear. Kida gives her father a kiss on his forehead. Knowing that he can trust her, he gives Kida his blessing to go. "Great news! I am going with you."

They set sail and everything is ready to go. Kida waves goodbye to the royal family of Atlantis. She will miss her father most of all. He is very old and Kida thinks he may not make it while she is away on a memorable journey with the prince of Syracuse and his men. To lift her spirits, Proteus decides to welcome her to the ship. "Kida, I think you should get to know everyone personally." He says. Proteus bows and grabs her hand to lead the way. "This is Arnold. He's been working on this ship for a very long time. Almost all of his life!" The prince lets go of Kida's hand and shakes Arnold's. "A pleasure to meet you Kida." Arnold says delightfully. Kida blushes and grins. "Now, I'd like to show you something very important." Proteus motions Kida to follow him as he strolls into a room under the captain's wheel deck. He opens the wooden brown door and a glowing blue light is seen. "This," Proteus starts. "Is the Book of Peace." Kida gazes at the legendary book. "What does it do?" she questions the prince. "Legend says that the book of peace can bring peace to a nation and it's rival. But, in the wrong hands, can create war with a powerful source of intense energy." Kida beams. She knew that she was a peacemaker. And also knew that she is as powerful as the Book of Peace.
