Disney Channel Question

The President of Disney Channel (and ABC), Anne Sweeney, admitted that her goal isn't entertainment, but to solely make money- your opinion?

A lot of critics aren't fans of her marketing strategy. Many say that Disney Channel is no longer Disney Channel, and that it used to be a family channel- now it's aimed mainly toward pre-teen girls and teenage girls.

What do you think? Is this a bad strategy and is it dragging down the channel? Do you like the changes she's made? Or are you indifferent?

I know that I'm late to the party, but if her goal is to solely make money she's going to loose a hella lot of money. I mean, Disney Channel SUCKS now, and that's not just because I'm getting older. If she's not going to make sure that her shows are actually good and quality and not some foolish rubbish crap then I'm never watching Disney Channel again. Heck, I barely even watch it since they took out all the good shows! She is TOTALLY dragging down the channel. Disney Channel isn't even Disney Channel anymore it's just for pre-teen girls and teenage girls which is ridiculous. They took out all the good family oriented shows for both girls and boys like Lilo and Stich, Proud Family, Even Stevens, and That's so Raven! Shake it Up has got to be the worst show ever, ANT Farm is lame, and a bunch of other shows are just sucky in my opinion.

Disney Channel is no longer Disney Channel. What happened to having shows that EVERYONE can watch, not just pre-teen girls and teenage girls? Teenage girls don't even watch this channel.... I certainly don't. What happened to aiming to entertain AND make money? Oh right, money is the only thing that matters know -__-
