Hey guys, in the devil may cry ANIME, does Virgil ever make an appearance or is he even meantioned at all?

Vergil does not make an appearance, as the anime takes place between the game timelines of 1 and 4 - thus, Vergil has already been defeated (If you remember, Nelo Angelo - who is actually Vergil - in the first game apparently explodes during the final confrontation).
