Hey reader, one look at the title and you started reading this thing, right? Glad to hear it! Anyway, I heard that some people wanted to be like Gosho Aoyama when it comes to making cases, right?

Anyway, before you read this thing, there's a note: The author of this guide (who is me) is a 12 year-old male. If you really want to know how to make cases, continue reading. But, this is (once again) an opinion from a 12 year-old kid.

Ya ready? Let's begin!

Elements in Making a Murder Case

The Plot : This is the very introduction of the case. Make sure you must introduce the characters properly.

The Problem: This introduces the very case. Also, make sure to state where the crime scene happened and when and how was the victim killed. Also, you must leave clues so that the reader will/might be challenged easily. Example: Someone murdered (name of the victim) at the (name of the place) around (time) - (time). The victim was (cause of death). There is/are (clues).

The Suspects: Make sure you list down the suspects and (if necessary) their age. But, you can do that at the introduction.

The Alibis: Make sure every suspect has an alibi. But make sure that they are not perfect so that the case will be even more easier or you can make them perfect so that the case gets hotter. But, make sure you will leave a small hole to reveal the trick behind the murderer's alibi.

The Pre-Plan: Mostly known as 'The Investigation'. Make sure you know what will the solver/detective will do next.

The Evidences Found: This is where you will list down the evidences you think the solver/detective saw. Also, make sure you listed down who owns those evidences. AND, make sure that you already planned the evidences before-hand so that you won't get confused.

The Post-Plan No. 1: The plan AFTER The Investigation. This is when the solver/detective will investigate the items/evidences (like checking fingerprints, blood matching, etc.)

The Results: Write down the possible results seen after checking the evidences. Example of that is during the 'Strange Threatening Letter' Case (found at the 'Make a Case Contest' forum), when Heiji and Conan realized that the blood found on the pen and Sakuba's blood are the same.

The Post-Plan No. 2: The Plan after checking The Results. This is where the solver/detective tries fitting the pieces together.

The Resolution: At this state first, this is where the solver/detective will reveal the criminal. Also, make sure you highlight its name.

The Deduction: Three things will be tested here:

Prediction: This is where you will test your skills in predicting things where you will use your evidences to explain the criminal's trick. For every explanation, leave an evidence.

Stating the obvious: This is where you will test your skills in stating the obvious where you will explain some things about the case which are rather obvious.

Answering the 'what if' questions: This is where you will test your skills in answering the criminal's doubts to your deduction. Make sure you have the right evidence so that the readers will really believe that that person is the criminal.

At the end of the deduction, state out the crucial proof which is found neither on the criminal, or somewhere else.

The Criminal's Motive: This is where you will state the criminal's motive for killing the victim.

Now, this is the very end so, anymore questions, comment at this article or check the 'Strange Threatening Letter' Case at the 'Make a Case Contest Forum'.
