Debby is just about to turn 19 (her birthday is the 13 of May), so 2011 has been her first year of dating.
Why did she wait until she turned 18? “The whole point of these [teenage] years is figuring out who you are and where you’re going.”
So Debby wanted to get to know herself first before going out with guys. But even though it’s been a year since she decided to open up, she hasn’t found that special someone yet.
