eh, most people around the world applauded for obama's presidency, maybe the terrorists will think twice about what this new prez will do after an attack.

It may be me, but when I first saw this the first word that popped into my head was "Er... non sequitor?" LOL!

I am actually quite fond of Obama's foreign policy, and as for Al Qaeda, they'll hate America no matter who's president and keep doing what they're doing. Frankly, I don't think Bush's homeland security was better than Obama's (which I'm assuming this question is about, Obama's homeland security policies rather than his presidency as a whole, as there is little correlation between who is president and whether or not we'll be attacked).

Haha, ditto! *grins and highfives astroasis* GO GET 'EM, JACK! YOU ROCK!! :D

Just for the record, one of the reasons why I asked this question is because of something my dad told me. He's a military chaplain, currently ministering overseas to our brave men and women in Iraq. He (and others like him) have hinted or said that if we pull out of Iraq now, or if Obama does stupid things, we could have another terrorist attack in year or less...maybe in a matter of months.

Now I trust what these guys say, not just because my dad's one of them and not just because I support them...but because they have access to TONS of classified information regarding the war, terrorist threats, etc. Information so vital and dangerous that they can't tell anyone else about it - not the media, not their friends, not even their own families. They are experts in what they do. I'm not. They know exactly what they're talking about. I don't.

So when they tell me that another attack could happen soon...yeah. I'd rather listen to them than to whatever politician happens to be the most popular at the moment.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens in the next few years and see if the predictions come true. God help us. *inches a bit closer to Jack Bauer...*

well considering constant terrorist attacks are going on all over the world all the time what with PETA or pro lifers bombing abortion clinics ect ect

but i am guessing you mean muslim terrorists and the attack in america lol but i agree with cinders if there is why will it be obama's fault...i'm not being sarky or anything here but what policy did mcain or clinton or anyone else have that would have protected america....i can't honestly think of one, it's just impossible, they will always find a way

I really don't know. I'm trying to be positive(for once) and say that nothing is going to happen but I don't know.

Although I don't think there's a bigger risk that someone will try to kill Obama than any other politician.
