I don't mind the idea of Connor/Dawn they're the same age and of the same kind of story. (somewhat--although one is completely mental or used to be.). Spike/Dawn also had a good relationship, I found them sweet. I wouldn't have minded the progression.

I do and dont see Connor and Dawn together (if you put them together would they be Dawnnor or Cawn???) but then again, Dawn is in Buffyverse and Connor's in Angelverse (like universe)
so I dont see it happening, two diff. ppl on two different planes that are connected by one bridge: BANGLE (Buffy and Angle)
Spike and Dawn would and would't work as well cause one, Buffy wouldn't have it, two, Spike is dead last time I saw him on Buffy, then sent to Angel in Angelverse and so yea
Dawn and the girls (any of them) wuldn't work cause no one see's her lezzing out anytime soon!
Dawn and Xander always clicked! all of Xander's gf's were a demon (unless you read SEASON EIGHT COMICS of BUFFY then Renee wasn't a demon) but every one of his gf's either are a demon and die or just die! So since Buffy wont let Dawn die I see Xander and Dawn (Xawn or Dander) I like Xawn cause Dander reminds me of Dandruff! haha
Dawn and Oz would never work, cause I only see Oz with Willow, and Tara with Willow hehe
Angel belongs to Buffy, so no Awn (Angel and Dawn) there!
So it's either Xander or Connor
I choose Xander cause I see there relationship lasting!!! (and besides, they both lie in the Buffyverse!!!)

I really like the idea of connor and dawn~both are not meant to exist, one through pregnancy of two vampires and one being the mystical key. After reading Buffy comic season 8 with the xander/dawn pairing kinda surprised me...so hmm i see how that plays out...i kinda found the pairings between anya/dawn and faith/dawn hilarous...they are more like to get into a chick fight lol

I think Dawn and Connor would have made a great couple so close in age and both have had rough times they could really understand and relate to each other.

I really dislike the whole Xander/Dawn thing in comics, I think it was gross. Dawn and Connor would have worked very well, they both are misunderstood, both were born under lets say unusual circumstances, both sort of didn't belong to this world and shouldn't have existed in it in the first place, both were anomalies and could never fit in. They could have made each other happy.

I can see Dawn with Spike myself because Spike makes an awesome big brother figure for Dawn, and mostly because I have read a lot of fanfics with the pairing of Spike and Dawn (which has been called “Spawn” by BtVS fans), most of which are really neat, as well as inspiring and superbly well-written, too. :)
