I do play the piano, but I tend to think of that as percussion. So if piano counts then yes! If not then no.

My mum used to play the violin when she was in her school orchestra, and once she got her old one out and gave me a little tutorial on how to play different notes, and from there I just figured out how to play a few tunes (only one note at a time though). But I wouldn't have been able to tell you which notes I was playing!

I do that with the guitar too, come to think of it. I've never learned it for real but I know that each fret is one semitone and that's enough for me to figure out how to play simple tunes on it.
