Christianity Question

Would you say yes?

Does anyone want to join my club (Rachel's Challenge)? This is the story behind it.

Rachel Joy went to school at Columbine, just like every ordinary day. Later in the day however, two kids came into school with guns. One of the gunmen came up to Rachel, and pointed the gun at her.
"Do you believe in God?" he asked. Trembling, Rachel said yes. Angered, the gunmen shot her in the leg. "Do you still believe in God?"
"You know I do," Rachel answered. She was shot and killed. Twelve other people were killed, along with Cassie Bernall who was also asked the same question as Rachel.
Rachel's Challenge is to start a chain reaction of kindess. If those someone had been kind to those shooters, then the Columbine Massacre would've never happened. Eliminate prejudice, dream big, and start a chain reaction of kindness. You have no idea what a little kindness can do. This is Rachel's Challenge. Would you say yes?

(it is an official organization, I just made a club for it on Fanpop)

"Cassie" by Flyleaf, right? lol.

Yes, this incident was very unfortunate indeed, but despite the deaths of those people, the good that came out of it was that God was glorified. They gave their lives for Him. I would do the same; I would never throw away faith like that (or lie about it), even for a second.

Plus, I read somewhere that those shooters were planning on killing them regardless of what they said.

"Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." [Matthew 5:10-12]

I would say yes. I am not a christian (Atheist actually) but what she did was admirable and respect her for sticking to her beliefs. This must have taken a great amount of courage it should be honoured.
