So why do i always excited about christmas???
One of the special characteristics of the Indonesia culture is the high appreciation of the community towards religion and the faith in One and Only God.If you come to Indonesia, you will see how open-minded we are of other religions as well. There are five world religions, which have formally been recognized in Indonesia, they are Islamism, Catholicism, Protestanism, Hinduism and Buddhism.
So the question is still the same: What Christmas Means to Me???
Three of my bestfriends are christian and i can proudly say they are sweet people, the caring one. I'm not very religious myself but i believe GOD is one, its WE that are not the same.
25 December is one of my fave day becouse besides it was my great grandpa that i love so much and (is) my cousin's birthday, at that day every country on the planet celebrate it and it means as an Indonesian i took a part :p
Seeing a movie of white Christmas when you got your home cosy and warm with fireplace is always a pleasure for me. It keeps me wondering when will i touch the snow (It has been my dream sincei was a kid.)
Although the origins may have been Christian, chritmas has become so much more nowadays. Its now a celebration of family, friends, and everything good in life no matter what religion you are.
