I watch Supernatural in my bedroom and usually, I sit at the top of the bed. The TV is down at the bottom. When Castiel came on, I unconsciously moved from the top of the bed to the bottom (closer to the TV) with my mouth hanging open. My only thought was 'Holy shit, this guy is really something!' And when it went to commercial, I then tried to figure out how the hell I got from one end of the bed to the other! :)
well i only said awesome! another hot character !
then after that i realized he is more than just a hot character with a cool coat ! and i started to like him from the first episode now he is my fav ! (dean also is my fav -now i can't choose which one i like more -) !:D

When I first saw Castiel, I was in total awe. He brought such a presence. When he spoke for the first time, my heart literally stopped for a minute. I had to move closer to the TV at first to get a better look of this new guy. But the first word out of my mouth - oh wait after seeing him, I couldn’t actually form real words for about an hour.
ok so at first I was just really pissed that there were angels. Mainly cause I'm an atheist and I really didn't want a religious thing happening in the show. but his entrance in that episode was one of the coolest scenes, in my opinion, of Supernatural so far. And my friend and I were actually talking about how hot he was after it aired. lol. and then I think after his first speech or whatever, i think it was in the next episode, I loved him. And now I have no problem with that storyline whatsoever and I LOVE Castiel. And that's it for my rambling story!
Yeah I agree with what you said at the beginning, I am an atheist too. But it IS American so I wasn't that surprised. And I just have to add on; I love Castiel, he is gorgeous. ^^ It is so cute that he and Dean are friends. (:
well at first when i saw the windows shuting like that i thought what is coming!the when the door opend and it showed him(becouse when i watch supernatural i really get into their sisters shoe :P i dont think about anything else)the first thing i thought was: he isnt a demon so what is that?what could be?!and the second thing was that: DEAN BRO!WATCHOOUT!and suddnly i said OH! who's him!!!!OMG! and remembered that i saw him somewhere....i thought his terribly hot :P
Seriously? Wondered who the hell he was, wasn't the fan I am now right at the beginning. But love that voice, the coat, his whole existance, all unaware n newbie to the human realm. He was just too cute at the brothel!!!!!!!!!

i thought "WHOHA!..thats some hottie!" and when light flashes...and you see the black wings..omg tingles! ..he is by far of the best supporting characters theyve ever had
when i watch supernatural i always have a drink and snack so i dont have to get up until the show ends. well when he came on i moved closer to the tv with my drink in my hand and my mouth open. when it went to commercial i yelled "oh my gosh! he was hot!" and then i herd something drop on the floor. i looked and I spelled my drink.

That's happened to me an embarrassing amount of times.
I just fell in love with him right there, when he came in and nothing they did worked I thought 'Oh crap, Dean and Babby are so screwed' but then he told Dean what he was and when I saw his wings I was just amazed because I love that kind of thing and the fact that his wings are kind of gothic instead of fluffy and white impressed me!!! He's my favourite character now. He's gorgeous, funny, broody and sexy as hell. If they ever killed him off for good I would be devastated!!! Castiel, Dean and Babby own Supernatural!!!
i was like, what the hell? There is an angel in Supernatural!!! I thought there were only evil demon there...i think Castiel is some random dude who took up a little space in the story....but i guess i am wrong...instead i like him so much now...that's why i am here
Like 90% of the time when I watch TV I'm sitting at my computer multitasking. That whole scene was epic so the second the windows started shaking I knew something was coming (I thought it was gonna be a big bad) so I stopped doing whatever I was doing and leaned back against the computer chair to watch. Castiel entered and my sister who was home at the time and watching with me said I began grinning, I don't remember grinning, I just remember really hoping he wasn't a big bad... he was just too cute. At some point in the scene I had spun the chair around so I was facing the TV and put my elbows on the table between the TV and me where I usually prop my feet up. When the shadow of his wings showed up I remember supressing the biggest squeal ever and thinking that was awesome. I remember grinning there.
I remember thinking during the séance that Castiel was an awesome name.
Honestly i didnt notice his hotness in his first scene coz i was just sooo happy Hot Dean came back and then when Castiel did that thing to Bobby and put him to sleep or wateva i was like OMG he killed Bobby!! I so don't like him (coz i still thought he was too cute to h8) But his entrance to the show was wicked, the lights smashing the wing expansion AWESOME!! He's an ANGEL.. I just started liking him in season 5 coz he is so adorable especially in the whorehouse :D And eating the burgers I dnt know y? Dean eats all the time yet the only time i actually got hungry was when Castiel ate burgers in My Bloody Valentine lol
I was not surprised by them bringing angels into it, I think most of us were waiting for the moment they would. But when I first saw Castiel I was shocked, one he was amazingly good looking lol and two the way he entered the shed thing was just amazing I had like goosebumps. Then he turned out to be an angel of the lord and I thought it was a nice change. We see all this evil on the show it was a nice change to see that there is also some good in the world. Then of course we meet Uriel and you want to kill him. Then comes Ana who I liked at first but after what happened in season 5 I would gladly thank Micheal for that. And that's what is funny to me there are all these angel and they are terrible but Cas is the one that sticks out and is different and probably correctly following Gods plan.
My best friend introduced me to Supernatural, and she is obsessed with Castiel. She told me when I would see him and that i would love him, blah, blah. So, when I first saw him, it was like, oh, hi dude. When he first spoke though. My immediate reaction was, omg this guy is going to be like Sherlock, I just know it. And he is similar to an angelic Sherlock, isn't he? XD I'm sure I would've been more surprised at impressed by Cas if my friend hadn't ranted to me about him. He's still my favorite character, though.
