I woke up in a king size bed in a guest room, feeling lazy and comfortable as I watch the still dark sky from the side of the room which had no wall but a floor-to-celing window. I usually woke before dawn.

For the first times since my parents were murdered, I felt no stress when waking up. Although whether Jasper had a hand in this feeling of calm or not, I had no idea.
